Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 1]
You're very wishy washy with this read on JJJ. Your approach to your scum read on him comes off as fake. You say stuff that you think are scummy about him, then immediately begin questioning and making up excuses. You're not assertive or sure about yourself at all and that is really troubling.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 10:36 am I kind of want to vote JJJ. I enjoy playing with him, and it has been awhile since we last played. But I also feel like I'm not quite yet seeing the Jay that I've seen before in 2 other games I played with him. Is that enough to go by? I don't know. Have I only seen his town game? I think so. Then again he might play different with a power role in hand, so maybe that's why he appears different. Or he could be generally busy, but I'm not suppose to make excuses for him. I'm just suppose to read what the thread gives me. Or maybe some games does Jay not get serious super early on? In my mind, it would be hard to maintain a talkative or inquisitive facade like every single game.
One could say your vote on him is assertive but meh your reasoning provided is so wishy washy that it makes the vote and the entire read itself just look like you're trying to contribute.
Very much not liking this post. You first in the game obviously think that no lynches were bad since you voted him up and questioned him about it. But now you trying to find a plausible excuse to explain the mindset of no lynch. Doesn't that seem much like a contradiction? So if you think there could be a reasoning for wanting to no lynch, why did you vote chuck up in the first place?Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 11:29 am
Eh the thing is that I kind of see a reasoning for it. Na.ely this game has a bunch of cops and they all act in Night 1/2. So No Lynch would reduce the chance we lynch our own cops and hopefully give us a headstart in ability usage. It reminded me of the Jester Game we do in NF.
Of course the price we pay for that is a civ night kill, so I'm not entirely sure the move is profitable. Would like to see a discussion on it, though.
Still not done reading the thread, just wanted to give my thoughts on these quotes out. Also, I had voted for DDL in the poll.

Please let's lynch DDL. There's not a speck of townie on him.
-Opportunistic jump on speedchuchk's bait and according from others, chuck is renowned as someone who hates no lynching so I'm not understanding how he doesn't see it as a joke.
-His post explaining why there could be a reason for wanting to no lynch is illogical in itself and a big contradiction to his previous actions. Not to note, he completely ignored it and is trying something now against Novas.
-His retreat after being confronted for his vote on Chuck was just bad. It just reeked of trying to appear better after realizing how bad they looked for what they did. This kinda self-awareness is very much from a scum POV and him admitting to it ain't really that much either as something so obvious, you're better off admitting then trying to find excuses.
-Now he's making a rather weak case against Novas, coming to this conclusion from Mac calling him out. Seems like the dude was trying to make a meta read that didn't work. Mans trying to get some town cred after doing much of nothing else huh? It ain't working fam.

I'm... a little cooler on Gemma now because of the "What" and "Why" and "How" posts that keep coming, drilling for repetitive info instead of supplying some. But I like their moxy (and the comics).

There may not be enough room for scum DDL and his one bad thing he took back soon after. Yet he hasn’t just gone on the defensive or pushed his attackers. He’s rolled with it.
Are you scum reading Jay and I or?

What I mean by the highlighted part is that him admitting to saving face does not mean much since DDL trying to save face was very obvious and denying it would only make it worse for him. I don't know how a civ DDL would react to such a thing, I just know that retreat was quite scummy.

You know, isn't Ultra technically chainsaw defending DDL here when he attacks JJJ here? Especially even more as Ultra went to make his stance and vote on JJJ. I mean, he's technically defending DDL by attacking JJJ's vote on DDL calling it out as a chainsaw defense. This makes me sus of DDL even more.
[mention]novaselinenever[/mention] I understand your case against JJJ but I press x to doubt that he's buddies with Ultra. The latter made his case and vote against JJJ and it's not like Ultra was in any danger of being lynched at that time for a distance attempt to make sense here, so what Ultra's fake case on JJJ is not coming off as a bus or distance imo. Also, I'm strong scum reading Owner and she also made her wishy washy case against JJJ, who again Ultra used for his fake case, so I definitely see more of a pairing between two buddies going against one townie there.

I still sus Owner and DDL pretty heavily. RDW is someone I'm taking interest in as well. I'm finna go back and read Ultra's interactions.
Now, I'll be gone till morning.
My reads. Owner, DDL, and Jack are scum. Also, I feel sad how y'all are ignoring what I pointed out about Ultra and Owner being buddies.

They're both scum, so it's fine.speedchuck wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 9:50 pm I came into this day planning to go after Owner.
But as it turns out, Jack is scum. So there's that.
I'll try to figure out how to explain why.

Don't really care who gets lynched as long as it's Owner, DDL, or Jack. All 3 are scum to me. I think there's a little more indicating Ultra and Owner being buddies than the rest though.MacDougall wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 10:10 pm @Dragomir yesterday you were desperate for DDL to get lynched. So what do you guys think about DDL and Owner? From the last pages that I read, nobody's really been focusing on them, only Mac. So yeah, I want discussion around those two.

I'm at work right now and won't be able to come through with my thoughts on the recent pages for until a few hours. Just one thing though, this wagon on me is bad and reeks of an attempt to save Soneji. RDW looks even more bad in my eyes.

Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 2]
I am confused. My impression was that I was a counter wagon to save Soneji but seeing how both leading wagons are town, it makes me think that there were more town in my wagon than on Soneji's wagon as it doesn't make sense for scum to get another wagon going when they can just hop on the leading wagon which was a mislynch.

I also ain't liking Jessie. His posts lack any decent substance and it seems like he's flinging his suspicions around at players and not being wholehearted with them.
I'd suggest a lynch on either him or RDW if you guys are opposed to lynching DDL.

Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 3]
Yes I do treat somethings as facts because that's how it is in my POV. What does emotionless posts have to do with anything? Explain to me what I was supposed to talk to DDL about in those interactions? Cause I wanted to correct his post on me trying to lynch him the entire game. I'm not sure what else there was to talk about cause there wasn't. Is it a common theme on this site to interact against players with 2 agendas in mind?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 6:54 amGun-to-head reads. You seem to be treating the game like there are obvious facts and "logic" to callback your original question here. Your post history is emotionless, and it looks like you're playing Mafia with a calculator.
Also when you had an opportunity to dig in and talk with DDL, the guy you've suspected so much, this was what came of that:
Spoiler: show
I mean, what is this reassurance to DDL that you're not trying to lynch him? Eh?

What in the fuck is this? I have wholeheartedly expressed that I want to lynch you, I just wasn't making a big push on it last DP like I did D1 which is what I was trying to tell you in our interaction. How incorrect this post is pisses me off tremendously.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 10:57 am It's still not clear whether you want to lynch me or not.
