Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 0]
We often start accusing each other in Day 0 but voting is still not allowed.
You can also flood the thread with useless stuff but somebody will probably come up with a way to analyse your alignment based on that fluff which will look silly in retrospect after the game ends.

In the game in question we were both civ and I started a long crusade to get him lynched.
Everyone kept telling me I was wrong and he was so obviously civ.
He was civ in the end. Obviously.

Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 1]
Eh the thing is that I kind of see a reasoning for it. Na.ely this game has a bunch of cops and they all act in Night 1/2. So No Lynch would reduce the chance we lynch our own cops and hopefully give us a headstart in ability usage. It reminded me of the Jester Game we do in NF.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2019 8:02 pmI don't need "possibly". What are you referring to?
I think DDL got snagged by a booby trap. No lynches are horrendous, and I thought it looked evident that speedchuck wasn't serious in his recommendation.
Of course the price we pay for that is a civ night kill, so I'm not entirely sure the move is profitable. Would like to see a discussion on it, though.

Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 1]
Not a fan of this post. I feel like attacking Jay/MP for lower than usual post volume is pretty shallow in terms of how much you can analyse someone. And from what I've seen recently you don't do swallow, you go pretty far in analysing people.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 10:36 am I kind of want to vote JJJ. I enjoy playing with him, and it has been awhile since we last played. But I also feel like I'm not quite yet seeing the Jay that I've seen before in 2 other games I played with him. Is that enough to go by? I don't know. Have I only seen his town game? I think so. Then again he might play different with a power role in hand, so maybe that's why he appears different. Or he could be generally busy, but I'm not suppose to make excuses for him. I'm just suppose to read what the thread gives me. Or maybe some games does Jay not get serious super early on? In my mind, it would be hard to maintain a talkative or inquisitive facade like every single game.
M Plus 7, also provided slank or "slang", so I know he's busy, but I still require more from him to really have a solid read on him. I have seen other players (not him) who are generally talkative people who provide slank but still end up posting through the roof as mostly town people; there were some scum outliers though.
Gemma's birds seem fine and fluffy. I like that she is in the thread and posting at least. Could use more content to go by, because the thread seems lacking of it.
Nova, I like so far. Not sure or can't remember if I read him correctly the last time we played together or maybe I was scum that game. Who knows? I guess I want longer content from him. It seems like a lot of his posts are a bit on the shorter side. That as general note seems a little suspicious or holding your thoughts too close to yourself.
I'll be gone for a lot of today unfortunately. I hope to be back on in 12 hours.
[VOTE: JaggedJimmyJay] aubergine Right now, you are the most different to me. I suggest doing something to change my mind or find someone scummier. I hope to see some effort when i get back. (aka I wanted to play with you more, but I can't be your buddy if you are scum)
Heck, coming from you, I would have expected an essay on what the expressions on Gemma's bird's faces mean about her subconscious re: her alignment. Not that I'm demanding that, but point is, I'd expect you to use your little free time to do way more interesting things than what you're doing now.

I don't need you to reference some exact post in the other game, but gimme a brief description of the parallel you're drawing regarding DDL.
DDL was lynched for this. Juliets also went back and found plenty of examples of DDL random voting in the past, which made it look like his reaction to my random vote was bull in order to bus him.
Two key things are that this is about no lynch voting, not random voting. And also DDL would maybe be careful to not overextend himself again so soon as scum.
Not quite as locked in as I was thinking last night but it’s still a bad reaction to Speed’s vote. Like I don’t believe DDL thinks Speed is bad for voting no lynch.
This has happened multiple times as both civ and scum.
I don't even know for sure if it happens more as civ or scum. It's just a way I deal with the game, I find a suspect and attack them until I realize I'm wrong, and the act of realizing I'm wrong takes a bit of effort every time, and may or may not be succesful. If I'm scum, I try to mimic that to varying results too.
I get Jack's point I just think the meta-based approach of it is flawed. Trying to figure out what I'm thinking in this particular game probably works better. Heck, if I got lynched in Addams and other games it was because people didnt think I was being genuine. Not because of meta.

Weak case making dressed in the guise of good case making.
DDL is bad. Back to DDL.
If nova was asking questions and also tunneling the fuck out of someone while being a general pain in the ass it would be fine.

Not sure.Luxurious wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 9:22 pmHow do you feel about gemma then?Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 8:44 pmThe case aint just "nova is asking questions"MacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 8:23 pm Let me say it in other words.
Nova asking questions is not a reason to scum read him. It is also an argument that I was tempted to make when I was scum because I had nothing better to say.
Weak case making dressed in the guise of good case making.
DDL is bad. Back to DDL.
If nova was asking questions and also tunneling the fuck out of someone while being a general pain in the ass it would be fine.
He's just prodding random peoplr all game. I'm yet to see if he intends to do anything with those answers. Like, you know, scumhunting.

I care what I look like.
Well, some of the time.
Saying things is more important than preserving myself.
But unsaying stupid things in order to preserve myself isn't bad.

There are two day phases ending at the same time. I have voted in this one but not in the other.
So... see you next phase.

Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 2]
I caught up this morning and found myself having to realign my reads.
Nova looks super solid in light of the ultra lynch.
Epi looks a little fishy for trying to piggyback on my nova case.
Still don't like Owner.
Not getting a good vibe from Soneji. Him having a low post count is normal, but he normally comes at the end with a bunch of attacks against players and is sure of thing. Here he feels more... basic.
Mac is giving me a civ vibe. Compared to the other game where he was very tame, here he's pissed off. I like pissed off Mac.
RDW needs to come down to the playground.
Neutral on the rest.

Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 2]
The Gemma case last day comes accross at people suspecting her because she's weird and nothing more.
Like, so she has a lot of posts and no results. Who the hell cares. That's a valid playstyle even if you don't like it.
I'm not saying I read her a civ yet but I don't enjoy that line of thought at all. Also I think Jay was the one who came up with it, so if you guys wanna shade him I suggest looking at his Gemma cases.

Re: MU Season 6 Scrimmage [Day 0]
Dragomir if all you do in the game is place a picture of me on your wall and throw shit at it you are going to be lynched before I am.Dragomir wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 8:37 pmYou know, isn't Ultra technically chainsaw defending DDL here when he attacks JJJ here? Especially even more as Ultra went to make his stance and vote on JJJ. I mean, he's technically defending DDL by attacking JJJ's vote on DDL calling it out as a chainsaw defense. This makes me sus of DDL even more.
novaselinenever I understand your case against JJJ but I press x to doubt that he's buddies with Ultra. The latter made his case and vote against JJJ and it's not like Ultra was in any danger of being lynched at that time for a distance attempt to make sense here, so what Ultra's fake case on JJJ is not coming off as a bus or distance imo. Also, I'm strong scum reading Owner and she also made her wishy washy case against JJJ, who again Ultra used for his fake case, so I definitely see more of a pairing between two buddies going against one townie there.

Protip: contrary to NF, in this site screaming harder won't instantly make 10 lazy townies join your wagon. Either you succeed at convincing them or you don't.
