That became such a big trend on PerC that it was banned. I've done it quite a few times, but I don't know if it has much of an effect on anything. I've also said I'm not looking at my role when I actually have, which one are you doing? :3

Not really, but it does. At least for me, it's just a check-in stage. It's supposed to give everyone time to realise the game has started and be ready to go on Day 1. If it were an extension I'd just call it Day 1 and make a poll, y'no?

In a vacuum I disbelieve that claim most of the time, with exceptions coming from a certain sort of player. People get that PM indicator on their index page, they click that shit, they see "role card" in the subject header, and they click that shit too.

I mean, yeah. But you can make a conscious decision not to read your role before you even get it. I've done it myself a couple of times. At some point this fall or winter, my Wild At Heart mafia game is gonna go into sign-ups, which will also be a nice kick of Lynch. And, at some point, maybe not for a year or so, I'm definitely going to host a game based on Season 3. Mulholland Drive Mafia will probably happen first, tho.

I couldn't agree more! I adored it too! Even the parts of it that was like "I definitely wouldn't have done it that way myself", I absolutely loved, because it was so refreshing to see a series being made because that's how THEY wanted to make it, and not just trying to please the audience and make it digestable. It also made me go "what the fuck is even... whaaaaaat!?" so many times, and it takes a bit to make me react that way. It felt like a long movie, and there were so many good moments, and it felt new, but also still Twin Peaks-y. It was also darker than I expected. I liked everything from Diane's nail polish to the 50s horror movie appearance to the very last scream of Laura Palmer. I haven't had the chance to rewatch it, but I'm definitely planning to.

I saw that game, but unfortunately I couldn't participate. At times my life is pretty unorganized and unpredictable. I recently had to postpone running my own Twin Peaks the Return game on Personality Cafe because I didn't have the time. You are welcome to join if you want, when I finally get to run it, just PM me about it. I'll definitely be on the lookout for your games as well.

I believe it! As long as at least my mouth is above water, I'm good. I think my stress levels are definitely way lower than the average person, and stress blocks happiness (and creativity) like nothing else. I'd rather make funny pictures of garbage I find on the streets than spend my time working myself to a house. But that's my way, and everyone is different. ^^

Omg. You are a fan. Have you been to where they filmed the first two series? One of my best friends (quite randomly) live close by, so I was able to visit all the Twin Peaks sites two years ago. It really has a claustrophobic feel to it.

If I were to explain it would say that she popped in and made sure to say when she was around and not and then had a question about baseball or whatever to Epi, that seemed kind of unnecessary and unnatural. So it's minor, it's a hunch etc.

I don't feel terrible about INH, and I don't want to read JJJ cause I don't want to.

Otherwise, just waiting for players to post moar.

Any reason you didn't mention this before now when you already talked about your suspects? Or is it more of a "now that you say it" kind of thing?

I've also heard this, and pretty much have the same meta myself (as do a lot of high post players, I would assume). I don't think it takes a lot to look like a "pusher" in a thread that's as slow moving as this has been though. So that whole thing is nullish to me in regards to Jimmy. But I do think it's more likely that Jimmy is town, cause the pushing is a little bit impatient or something?
