I am aware that right in the beginning Jay throws out names attached to alignments like candy. But now others are doing it too, namely dunya and nutella. Is this knew? Are they just trying to seem civ since Jay does it when he is civ? IDK.

I liked juliets' post which questioned nutella's reads, I thought that was spot on. Nutella says her posting lyrics is a challenge for herself to get into the theme of the game. How is copying and pasting lyrics from the internet a challenge? I think it is an attempt as a distractions from making reads.

I disagree with Jack and agree with Jay that daisy's reads look authentic. I am calling daisy civ for now.

I gave a few reasons why I’m not naming people that I think might be working together, in a later post, but I didn’t state the main reason. Yellow just means I don't find someone's posts super civ or super bad. Just b/c other people think Luna is bad, doesn't mean I have to. And DDL, yeah, his posts were not memorable to me. I read, but they didn't stand out when I went to write my post. I don't remember what else you got on me for so I will end here. I am too sleepy to do quotes tonight so I am going off memory of what I read and just posting.

@dunya, I am not giving reads b/c jay did it. Honestly, I am lost in the new syndicate culture. It has changed so drastically. I don't even like playing anymore. I promised Epi I would play this game. You will notice when I DO play, they are usually Epi games. Anyway...I am just trying to make sense of this new culture. I don't think I did the same as Jay though. Jay comes in on Day 0 and throws out names with alignments based on "hello" and "what's up guys". I try to get a sense of people before throwing things out there. That is why I have so many yellows. Yellow means, I have no clue. And, "?" means that I don't feel there is enough content to say anything. I don't think that is ANYTHING like what Jay does.

Okay, I am done for now. No one should have to think this much before finishing their coffee. Blech, mafia. Where have all the fun games go-o-ooooooone? Do-do-do. Do-do-do.

oh.....and I am placing my vote on nutella for now. I have seen enough from her to do so.

I was just giving Dunya shit for voting Mac after telling me to get over voting Daisy.

That's fine to have your own reasoning. I am just telling you what I am getting from dunya's voting. It seems like she is just placing votes willy nilly before settling on who she actually wants to vote for.

I don't know if it is normal civ or baddie behavior and I just have never noticed it before. So I was asking the thread.

I'm not so confident about it, but I have some suspicion on all three of them and would be fairly surprised if none of them were bad. I'm leaning a little more town on Mac and more bad on juliets and ddl for various reasons that are unrelated to their voting for me but it does seem that I'd be a convenient bandwagon vote for scum.

Remember, one must be careful what they claim in games. I as completely ignored in my last game for a whole phase and voted for wrongly b/c the cop made a claim against me and everyone believed them. In fact, I think you might have been that cop. I never completely hold those details b/c I have too many RL details to remember. But yeah, be careful on your claims.

Oh yeah I felt so bad about that, it was partially people taking my words entirely the wrong way but partially me not being careful enough about my words. I'm not trying to imply anything like that here, they're just all people on my list.

Right. So...instead of "Two of these three people are bad" how about, "These three are my top suspects, I propose that at least two of them are bad."

Jay presented a case for Mac being bad that had some good points, but he also brought up earlier in EOD that we could default to an inactive player which in this case is Neverwhere. He elected to do that.

that's fine, but goodness, it stresses me out. I have been involved all day back and forth reading and staying caught up. what is the point of even being here throughout the day. I might as well just come in the last hour and read 10 posts and vote. it makes the whole day a pointless waste of my time. I hate mafia these days.

another reason you can't do this crap, JJJ, is b/c of time zones. it is very disrespectful to those across the pond. Mac may be bad, and if so....good for those voters, praise be. But if not, that poor man had no way to defend himself b/c the thread decided to change things up on him while he was asleep. this is why we have 24 hours to discuss, so that everyone can be involved WHEN THEY ARE AWAKE. Elohcin leaning bad, I don’t think her posts felt genuine, but her reaction to the lynch was more important. I remember in Gossip Girl, I wasn’t really crazy about the way the lynches were handled, but I came around to appreciating it. Elohcin played that game but she didn’t get upset at all over the last minute vote switching. Her reaction today felt personal.

I remember a time on this site when, if sanified, you would not be lynched. Players gave you a phase so you had a chance to defend yourself in case you were civ. These days, players will ignore you for a whole phase b/c someone made a confident, but wrong, claim. Even if you are pleading with them to listen. These days, you can be accused and lynched without being given a moment for defense. The fact that mac was bad is beside the point. I'm glad y'all got him. Good for you. But it's the principle. Jack can say I complain a lot. Fuck that... I have principles.

Now... I'm done talking about this. It is only taking away from finding baddies in this game. I am setting my feelings aside and moving forward.

That’s because some of them are. Several people asked me to post what I had, so I did, even though things can change from day to day.
To be fair about Elohcin, I’ve spent the last couple hours rereading Gossip Girl. Elo called the posting style a Chinese fire drill, and commented on how things were moving too fast near eod. But she handled it well and discussed changing her vote on a few of the lynches. On day 4, reywaS was lynched, and he had been gone most of the day. He posted early about who he would vote for, but he never came back. Close to eod, elohcin noted that she hoped he would come back and vote to tie things up. She was a civ, she tried to be fair, she did comment on the craziness of all the last minute stuff, but she didn’t get upset about it. Probably because Rey could have come back if he wanted.
But I still don’t feel good about her being so upset today.

Rey was in discord at that time talking with friends (including me). He could have come in and voted. He could have participated. He chose not to. I did not feel bad voting him. You are missing my point.

I shouldn't be starting at the end and.going backwards with reading thr thread, but I'm on my phone and it would be difficult to find where I left off.

I think LC and niju would be easy targets for mafia. Honestly, I think they are civs who just aren't paying attention to a damn thing. They are the kind of civs this game that keep civs from winning.

I think they would be here and paying more attention if they were bad. Niju would be making at least one meaningful post. She would be trying instead of forgetting. I have been in her shoes - civ, busy, and forgetting I am even playing mafia. I have never forgotten I am playing when I am mafia. LC is one of the syndicate's original hard core players. Maybe things have changed for him, but I don't think he would sign up to play and be this lazy if he were bad.

My involvement is directly related to the amount of work I have. This week, I have two cupcake orders and that is all. I can be involved.

I couldn't even tell you the games I was bad in. Once I am out of the game, the name of the game is gone from my head. I didn't even remember the name of the Gossip Girl game I brought up, I just remembered the way I was treated. If you notice, it was Dunya that mentioned the title as she was the host. I have too many RL things to remember to keep mafia details in my head.

I am not sure what I think of LC now. Why would he come out and say he is 100% sure Jack is bad. If he is telling the truth and he can determine the alignment of a player as his power, then why give up his life (of course Mafia would kill him now, right?). There are still other mafia left. Wouldn't he want to be a little more vague and keep him life so he can keep playing and keep helping the civs catch baddies? Couldn't he put a little more effort in and build a case on Jack and get us to follow? I just don't know. I am confused.
