But an actual zero and counting symbols – for example the symbol for zero – isn't the same thing. I believe most people intuitively do the latter when it comes to counting decades. And I'm too lazy/don't care enough to go all prescriptive on this, cause I don't really care.

There was a role very similar to this in the first Game of Champions. insertnamehere had it. He was an independent who increased in ability every time someone said his name.

I said his name 25 times in a row and he got everything in his arsenal.

I don't know if scum would be demotivated after the pretty random creature lynch. If so, that could pertain to LC too who's been here saying he should put in more effort, but then hasn't.
MacDougall is pretty competitive. I don't think he'd roll over Day 1, but I don't know if he was even around or available at the time.
