Oh, I heard Long Con had been banned. Apparently not.

I have had one of the worst days and weekends, and to have this starting almost made me cry tears of joy. Maybe not joy. Maybe, tears of 'omg there is actually something normal in my life'. Which means that I think you guys are normal. Which means my sense of reality has really gone to shit.

It's worth remembering that this isn't Survivor. There is every probability that we end up having specific interests in taking out specific other people, or that some people are more dangerous than others. Just because Survivor was our last LMS game, my advice is not to confuse the two. This is a game where alliances are far less likely to be in people's interests, and where we can't be so sure that they will be able to be maintained behind the scenes as well.

Having said that, I won't vote Elo. I like how hard she is working for her survival right now.

I'm entirely with tranq and nutella, but also won't be voting for either of them because their ideas are so on point.

Rough way to go out so early. Sets a brutal tone for the game, though, to know that it's probable the kills were unintentional, and it seems like the same outcome happened in both target directions, and one of them brought on their own death by their choice of target, so that's even rougher.

I don't intend to say who I mixed with etc in general or what the effects were. I'm concerned the information could be used against me long term. What I will say is that I am targeting people with whom I'd like to have btsc, just in case any reaction might create that.

I don't think inh got the info in his PM. Reading it back, I think he assumed/implied a bundle that you aren't willing to assume. I think your way of thinking is more aligned with my way of thinking. All I got was element and reaction.

I know. This is the problem...

If btsc exists out here, our elements are going to get out. Lets say I target you, and get your element. Then I target someone else, get btsc, and tell them your element. What if them combining with you kills you? And now they have the information they need to do it?

On the other hand, information is how you avoid killing yourself. If I read things correctly, at least one of Dom and G killed themselves through their target, and I'd like to know places where that could happen before I go doing it and offing myself by accident.

It's neat complexity to the game, but it also means that my interests are in keeping information about my own actions very close to my vest.

I'll tell you my hunch - my hunch is that pairs of the same element can btsc. No matter what the element. It's a stab in the dark, but it feels like it lives within the world of game design that has 'water extinguishes fire' in it.

I don't think you can keep your element easily concealed anyway. I just need to target you and I have a fairly good chance of knowing what your element is.

I feel like all of them have talked to me, or talked on the same topic as me.

The idea of three votes and two people dying feels very schrodinger's golden to me. Perhaps I'm not opposed to one being a no lynch. I haven't decided.

Why do you think lynching our doppelgangers would be a good idea? Is there some suggestion of a benefit to it?

I didn't even consider the idea of checking what would happen if I got my own element, and I guess I only have half the chance of getting it than getting any other element. I feel like maybe some people out there did have the idea of checking their own doppelganger's power, or maybe some people fused that way already, but if there's info floating, I'm in the dark.

I think the fire/water, air/earth interactions do demonstrate some level of logic (as much as such a thing can happen). Also, today's poll seems to be clearly caused by the darkness/spirit combination. So, we are slowly getting info. Hopefully, eventually, we get to see the outcome of a doppelganger reaction.

Speedchuck is off my christmas card list.

I wouldn't be surprised if I'm one of those people a few people targeted to fuse with on day one, and got good reactions for them. I'll certainly be defending anyone who is beneficial to me in that way. Others might just be enjoying "Schrodingers Golden". You never know what will happen from game to game. But I like it.

What are we talking about with people going into EoD with three votes? I think I've missed something.

My guess (not info) is that air/earth potentially stopped any death (thats what the dust did), and that things like silences are based on other reactions. Theoretically, there were 19 or 20 different things happening after yesterday, and we've only specifically accounted for four (two deaths, the poll, and whatever Air/Earth does).

I moved my quin vote to INH for now. I thought I said that but now I can't see where I did.
