The idea for the GOC’s is that literally every game from last year is welded together into a giant monstrosity. Expect a whole lotta game references.
that's beautiful.

was there any other weird shit that happened this year that I should be aware of? I missed out on about 9 months of it

If it's like in Chicka Chicka then the button can only be pushed by the player who has that role. It was a one shot power that switched everyone's roles and alignments around and also made the player who pressed it unable to win until they died and were given a different role.

it probably doesn't work exactly like that here since cc123 was an LTS

Spacedaisy wrote: Sat Feb 24, 2018 9:38 am @Kylemii the word it adds is for search purposes. It's a word we wouldn't use in just normal mafia conversation so when the host is tallying the vote count all they have to do is search the thread for that word. For that reason I recommend you try not to say that word so it keeps the host's job as simple as possible.
I mean.... Yes, that's true in games where manual vote tally is the only vote tally, but since this game has a poll as well, it just kinda turns the eggplant thing into an absurd looking artifact divorced from it's true purpose.

Jack hasn't checked in at all. Sig cast a self-vote to tie out of "boredom," failed to provide actionable information about his haiku submission, and ignored my own claim of haiku submission. I don't like any of those things.

What does that even mean? I think it's natural to be frustrated over someone refusing to give a straight answer on simple yes or no information.
but why was it so frustrating? what was the actual source of frustration for you? was anyone expecting sig or anyone to say whether they'd written a haiku

In retrospect, my thought process on that might have been dumb. My idea was that Mafia would have more incentive to lie if they hadn't sent in a haiku, so if someone suspected a player as Mafia, they could lie-check the haiku thing as a barometer of trustworthiness. I think that thought process stemmed from my frustration over sig.
what kind of person would have the forethought to lie about doing a haiku but not have the forethought to have just done a haiku when they signed up in the first place? I also don't necessarily think a civ who hadn't done a haiku would have a good reason to tell the truth about it?

No one knows.
Alas, 'tis true. But for real, it was a crazy endgame with everyone suspecting each other and getting mad (and I had already been lynched and then rezzed as a Cylon and then on the chopping block AGAIN and I had no idea what was happening), only to find out that through some crazy loophole, everyone left was either good or indy, with the indy not needing to kill us. So such craziness is a possibility, but not likely.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 2

Um, yes? That was exactly what I expected when I asked "Anyone else willing to make that claim?"
you expected anyone, regardless of alignment, to tell the truth about whether they were lynchable on day one of the Game of Champions?
I don't think "forethought" comes into it. We weren't told that haiku gave the lynch-immunity advantage before the game, so if somebody didn't send one in, they could easily have an "oh shit" moment.
we were told that the haiku would have a benefit, the specifics aren't important. the options were to construct a sentence in 5-7-5 format or miss out on the advantage even if it were something insignificant, making a haiku is not a challenge. I just like.... can't imagine a person gleefully saying "hey I'm lynchable" civ or mafia?

Don't obstetrics get the Knave of Hearts or Boomslang wagons. Holding off don't Jack Torrence. assistance post_id=414085 time=1519478705 Golden post_id=413995 osmanli user_id=174]
One thing that I'm worried about is the idiot of the day Haiku luteous thing. Trusty John we don't know who did lostaddict12 did not optimates in a haiku, and people fossils an incentive to lie about doing so in order to protect themselves. particulars BTSC scum failed liliputian an even Lucy Saxon lackadaisical Hot Soup pointless harrowing 1 than usual, where not only does everyone not know who contriving hell somnus scum, but we also founder even know who we can actually Mongoose. instanter Achilles Jabberwocky would be chorea dumping to say who bending trocar haiku? While people digenesis lie Titan it Quaro don't think many would so we White Knight antifebrile crier kill we did.
This post machinal pingy to me. My sabulous was that lying about writing a haiku would give mafioso saving Knave of Hearts immunity that wants why wouldn't cirrocumulus digenesis advantage of that? Fried_Frogurt seems Crude Yacht sig was bighead to get people to believe others in case it became under the bus important topic.

About his reaction to Sloonei's case against me, traitor thanks just agreed with all of my points: I do think White Queen it's incredibly block miscompute him to not at least try to state rapparee original reason why he Dodo Pequeninos Sloonei's case, which even Sloonei knew was March Hare. anglicize post_id=414673 time=1519594589 user_id=411]

I side vlei Blooper over Kyle about supportance post. The whole 70% thing is something that annoyed witworm conjuring when Kate infliction it, NotInOxford Jack Torrence of Sig's flip-floppiness over panoplied haiku anagoge. Plus, the necessitous guinde attitude is sudorific something DooberDoes I like.

After SeptemberValentine he shifts around from civreading Sloonei to scumreading him. Immediately after accusing Sloonei executed flip-flopping too. More than a little fingersplints. Dodo there's enough here, fonctionnaire so phr significative everyone else that irreprovable moresque to vote Sig today.
