I’ve spent all day at a conference where I’ve been introduced to the concept of ‘collective intelligence’. I was hoping it might give me a little insight into this game. Seems my expectations may have been a little high...

my goblin is a shopkeeper and when he reaches level 15 (cus he's gonna multiclass fighter) he'll be able to punch shoplifters and send them straight to hell, and i think that's neat

Oh there is a reason. I don't merely say "Quin is bad!". I say "Quin is bad because X!"

X might absolutely be stupid as hell, but I don't care about that. It provides something that demands a specific response beyond "No, JJJ, I am not bad!". I don't have time right now to go on an archaeological dig through my old games, but I can think of one example that you could look for on your own if you like -- Fiddler on the Roof, when I completely made up a "tell" that revealed Kyle as a mafioso just so it'd be something to talk about.

How do you feel about Jay in this game?

idk yet. i want to review his posts in the light of the comparison he's made to fiddler, because it doesn't feel exactly the same to me, and I'm not sure if it's just cus he wasn't around to do follow up cus he was at the backstreet boys or if it has lack of a similar intent

my cold medicine townread on Juliets was maybe hasty, since I think she's tricked me before and I always see her as being my cool and nice friend juliets so I think she's more in the neutral zone.

reasoning for jack is that in the past he's tended toward roleplaying more often as civ than as mafia. but when civ he's also slipped out of roleplays when it became necessary for communication. I see that here with the *sneezes*

the difference between this game and the last game as far as number of opinions from me goes is that in the previous game the few opinions I had were confident and also correct with little basis required up until maybe like day six.

I defended players I knew were civs and voted for my own teammates because I could, and because it was easy, and it made me seem trustworthy to basically everyone except long con. In this game I have few opinions because I've only read like 1/3 of the pages

on a related note, I don't feel educated enough on current events to vote in a relevant way, especially not whilr I'm stuck at work.
