i can't say Daisy's post was as sincere. that wink was very very suggestive and also a daisy is a plant (albeit my favorite flower in the whole universe) and we know the deal with plants in this game. ;-p

You're right I am pretty excited about the fact that I got a good role on my first game coming back! I'm also excited to be alive because I left due to having brain surgery which was quite the experience let me tell you.

I work and don't get to use my phone much during work so I usually read through the comments when I'm able to and kind of observe what's going on to figure out what I think of everything at that point.

Am I the only one who gets all excited when I roll scum?

Meh I'm on the fence now. Does anyone feel like they have a clear grasp of what her town and scum games are? I know Daisy is townreading her.

My read is that if dunya posts a lot and seems excited about solving the game and is being helpful, then she's town. But I don't think I've played a scum game with her, so I'm not sure how good she is at pretending to be town when she's not.

Luna is somewhat suspicious due to the comment about enjoying being scum roles and voting with lack of explanation initially. Also not sure where the accusation of me being mafia comes from as it didnt seem as though dyslexicon had participated much in the conversation previously.

The cop doesn't just strike lucky by hitting a scum, but he or she strikes lucky every night by town confirming people and avoiding them from getting mislynched the next day in a game where we only have a couple of mislynches before LyLo.
What about the scum power role?

The Chinese/Russian/Lunar Alien with space plasma nukes? We don't even know what this special role does. But from the "space plasma nukes" part I would assume it lets them take extra kill(s).

So I wanna know how you discovered there was a cop and doctor from the PR. Cos surveillance and doctor aren't 2 words I associate with each other in mafia.

Are you accusing speed of a town-slip? What if he has one of these roles he "knows so much about"? Though if that is so, his first game mechanic posts wouldn't make much sense.

Here's my take on the roles for anyone who's interested:

Spacemen of the United States Space Force

1x Satellite Surveillance Engineer - this would make sense as a cop role. The "surveil" other players and receive some visual feedback on them
1x Mars Space Force Base Alpha death ray laser beam operator - death beam operator has to be a townie with a one-shot kill. Whoever has this role, please don't use it on the first night. Wait until we have better ideas on people, so you don't shoot town in the foot.
5x Vanilla Space[wo]men -boring townies

Those who threaten the freedom of the United States of America and its dominance of outer space

1x Chinese or Maybe Russian or even Lunar Alien with space plasma nukes - extra kill for scum team. Perhaps it's a one-shot to off set town's death beam operator
1x Vanilla National Security Threat - boring baddie

Also I think Speed v Dunya is Town v Town. Dunya mentioned the godfather role on instinct, because it's a pretty common role in mafia. But I think she's wrong because it sounds to me like scum would have an extra shot ability instead of godfather ability.

I appreciate that, but you indicated I'm "very town-like dunya" after asking around for a better grasp on town/scum dunya and not getting a response. so what does "very scum-like dunya" look like?

You know, I don't really know what scumya looks like. But I can generally decide if someone looks like they are playing a town game or not. I mean, if I'm wrong, do tell.

Is this mostly because quin hasn't posted much or partially because they voted for you? (I don't know everyone's pronouns so trying not to mess that up) looking back I really dont see a lot of contribution to the discussion from quin unless I missed something.

I'm very much following Speed's perspective. I do thing we have similar ways of thinking in games, but really my reason for thinking he's town is the "wait a minute" kind of turn at dunya.

dunya is really the only one that stands out to me that makes me go nope. Don't like the way she left me (even if the push itself was random), cause at that time I had said I scum read two players who were her town reads. The push on Speed doesn't seem to come from anywhere. Also also the calling out Speed for voting what could be PTs is lol, cause that's like exactly what she did. Thoughts?

I think dunya town read both Space and Quin (?) Would she do that if they were teamed?

Those were just random reads I made up before even reading the game. Tried to make them at odds with what I skimmed on that page, but otherwise just random. Didn't get much out of it other than dunya removing her sabie12

I thought I had made this clear, but maybe not. Cindy Kate culture is a bit different than PerC.

TH currently looks like the easy next lynch option. But I don't think it's that easy. I would look very closely at anyone pushing for a TH lynch.

I'm inclined to agree with you. My thoughts were going that direction as well.

The fact that sabie also is very keen on lynching TH without any skepticism gives me pause. Spacedaisy has a free pass since she is basically "lock town" at this point.

I tone read speed town for our argument, but he could flip scum too. There was a post daisy posted about our exchange which hit the nail in the coffin for me and I can't quote it now cos phone posting but it was about speeds set up of questioning. I still don't feel totally good about the intention towards that scene.

Luna hardly has to have bussed, all she has to have done is cast a distance vote and returned to her house on fire. It's easy to rationalise.
Maybe you're using the lingo different here, but to me bussing is voting and lynching a teammate. And Luna was around not many hours before day end, the wagons were close and she could've voted someone else if she wanted to, it's not like she was going hard on Quin or anything, it was mostly that he was inactive iirc. If scum votes to bus someone in this particular game they lose half their team, plus Quin was PR as well. I don't really see that happening. Plus, I was leaning town on Luna from beforehand. Her voting to lynch Quin who flips scum PR doesn't make me more suspicious of her.

So how do you see it?

Just in case you wanted more clarification on what went down:
If I remember correctly, the vote was at 2 on dunya, 2 on you, and you were the single voter on Quin. I voted Quin because I didn't like his contributions so far as much as yours and Dunya's, and effectively created a 3-way tie until Spacedaisy came and joined me on Quin.
