What seemed off about his posts and vote? Maybe you have explained this and I missed it.
Here's the short of it: Mac responds to nova's post "I hope Mac's a witch" with "No, I'm not, and neither are you." Sabie then asks about the interaction because it feels weird, and Mac replies to sabie that it "it was nothing." then decides to put his vote on her.
