Re: [Day 1] Better Off Ted

I'm not finished with reading yet but looking at the thread, birdwithteeth11 comes off quite aggressively and his behavior not really feel like town behavior, it's more comes off as a wolf for me. They way he ask players or point out thinks Kinda coming forcefully. I will read the entire thread and will provide my reads on my suspect along with birdwith.

Whatever phase it is doesn't make any difference. Ppl can still come on and start talking. I don't know why you're trying shut down discussion here.
Cuz no one seems to be online and you know that I haven't played any game before where you also can talk in the Night phase

Naw fam, it's worked several times on this forum. So it's legit.
It's not just a fun party trick either. It displays the mindset of a mafia member who wants to cast aspersion on several targets at once - casting a wide (but not too wide!) net to see what catches on. "A, B, C, and maybe D" is the recognized standard construction of a Player Salad tell. I believe that classically, one of the mentioned players is the Salad-maker's teammate. We shall see.
The way I view it is that a mafia trying to keep their options open to jump on a possible mislynch that could form without having to do much pushing or tunneling. Of course they'd put a buddy who is being incriminated in the DP in that list, but that's just for distancing.

I've actually done it myself a lot of times as mafia thinking about it now.
:srsnod: And Creature being so hasty to dismiss it isn't a good look either.
You're way too much passive here, I mean honestly, you keep agreeing with Drago. I'm new I don't know how you start your game but that passiveness is not really townies at all

Allow me to correct your grammar here. You're way too much passive here. Much doesn't make sense in this sentence. It's just "you're way too passive here."

passiveness is not really townies at all. It should be singular, not plural.

Forget it, I still have a hard time making case due to not being an experienced player in the mafia. But I'll try my best

Right now I don't seem to able to find any scumminess in anyone though your post comes off more aggressively, forcefully. You're indeed one of the most active players in this game but your play feels passive even though you decline or point out a lot of things. I want to know who are your main suspects and why? Because it really shouldn't be given proof. It's just pretty plain obvious, like the fact Earth is round.

Saying it's a mafia tell is as ridiculous as saying gamesolving is a mafia tell.
So I'll ask you another question, will you just gonna eliminate the entire discussion by just saying it's not mafia tell? If you think it's not mafia tell then you could give us a reason why

From defense to offense...we don't have a townkilling by now and I rly sus Juliets now, because I am more used from her plays, she is doing more reads in generell etc, never seen someone playing so off and then going like:

Oh right in our last game hosted by novas we both swiped town by forming one scumwagon against town after another and noone realized it while 1 obvious scum atleast were known to town.

You know what Rej you could better than that by actually not keep complaining about Drago suspecting you or getting paranoid over it. I'm aiming for scum. Do you know when you start involving a lot of unwanting discussion in the game it just makes more hard for the town to make good reads, cuz it confuses them which post they should take seriously or which not? You bringing previous games or meta is alright but for some extent, you can't completely defuse Drago argument based on Meta or previous game mistakes. You have to either make your points that counter Drago or either have to start approaching other players post which might provide some input. Making wall post for one argument or brining previous game is not really effective and meta is overrating. It's good but not something you can depend on

Indi has been suspecting wilgy longer than anyone so I have no issue with her joining the wagon.
Joining wagon isn't a problem but at this point, I can see him flipping town, the way this lynching going make you think twice that your lynch candidate is really mafia or just town that hard to read town or trapped into mafia good reads. There are a lot of possibilities and him being a town is one of them

I think we have to see how this to lynch is beginning and I don't like the way it's going. So, I will stick to my vote, if he flips scum then it just hard for me to scum read him but for me, I see him as a town

This wagon is most likely town-formed. And about my point earlier, you rly wanna tell me the chances are not raising that there is a scum on "Mac's list"? And people deflecting that idea are people I scumread most likely. If you are good scum you could WIFOM your ass out of the situation, but all I see is deflection.
And all I see that you're just saying that "I think mac list have a scum" if you think that his list indeed has scum then you should carry that investigation further rather than blaming or asking others. I'm one of the players in his list, ask me what you want to and I will answer it accordingly

Ok, what do you think about Sokoth? And why are you and Wigly defending each other?
Are you sure we're defending each other? I simply provided my reason why I think he's a town if he's mafia and I'm his mafia buddy then I have no reason to defend him like that due not becoming suspect myself and getting my mafia team rekt. But that's not the case

But I like the way you try to point that out without pinpointing the reason properly, you know I could take this as an opportunistic chance from you and make a case on you but guess what because of that same reason I'm town reading you. And if town reading means defending someone then yes, I'm precisely defending Wigly cuz I think he's a town.

It just fair to defend someone when you think they're town and getting suspected for a reason you think is nor valid enough to make them suspect

Btw, this time I'm really sleepy and about Sokoth, I think he's either lazy town or passive mafia. Currently, I have a hard time reading players like that for any faction, I can only read them neutral but he's leaning more of a mafia side than town for me

Good Night

Nutella, Oreki and Wilgy are Mafia together I think.
Why Oreki? I feel like he might be civ because he seems like he is speaking his own mind, but he's come off as lacking conviction to really pursue any of his suspects further than just surface level stuff.

Linki: Looking forward to seeing the rest.
Actually, I'm lacking conviction due not being able to active much in the previous phase, being new here and I'm trying to adept the environment of this site, it's kind of different than where I play. So I can't help it right now and I'm also not really experienced player so It's still hard for me to elaborate the cases properly which I indeed working on it and maybe the main case I'm starting to play here

So I'm trying to observe you all how you guys play

Oreki, if you are town I urge you to name your suspects and just do the best you can to tell us why. We all understand how being a new player in a new environment can be hard but if you don't continue to name suspects and why they are suspicious you will become more and more of a suspect yourself. Hopefully life will let you be more active this next round.
Yes, I will be more active in the coming phase and will share my reads properly this time or at least will try to make it better. I will again read the phase and check it what I missed

Re: [Day 4] Better Off Ted

Can I ask a question? Claiming is not allowed in this game, right? So does this game also have invest result, this may sound like fishing(lol) but I just want to know if we indeed have something like role cop or alignment cop. They can't claim regardless of their results, right?

And one another question how do we do multi-quotes?

Oreki, if there is an investigative role in this game he or she cannot just dump their results in the thread like "DDL is mafia, I know for sure". That is not allowed. Also, since it is a closed set up we do not have any idea what roles, like investigative roles, are in the game. We just don't know.

The only way to multi-quote that I know of is to open a second window, find the quote you want to post, copy it and take it back to the first window and paste it under post reply. You continue to find posts in that second window, copy them and paste them to your reply in the first window. I hope that makes sense. That's the only way I know how to do it.
Thanks for answering this out, I was just curious cuz Nutella always sound so sure that Dragomir is a town, I thought it's TMI. Or she just has a really strong read on drago but regardless of that I haven't seen Mac and Nutella having any big argument, these two agree with each other too fast and I don't understand that. It comes of little odd to me,

I understand the quote system, sound like hard to get used to it
