He knows that I am juggling multiple writing projects in addition to two games. He knows I've been exhausted and slept a lot more than normal. So tell me why this guy says me being quiet is shady. Woah, hold your horse there. I know you've been really busy and am aware of your preoccupations as well as your work schedule. It's merely a pressure vote. I didn't say you were shady; I just want you to say things and expressed that I get paranoid of you when you aren't talking.

I'm not sure what to make of this reaction, but I tentatively feel OK about it.
Here's the thing. When you are pressure voting someone you are upfront about it. No you didn't use the word shady. You said it makes you nervous when I'm not posting. You didn't say this is a pressure vote. You implied that me not posting is somehow scary. When you know that my not posting has zero to do with my alignment.

There is roughly an eleven hour difference between the two posts. By my count, there were 52 posts between Spacedaisy's first and second posts, several of them quite meaty.

Here is my concern: Of all those 52 posts in just 11 minutes, how did Spacedaisy react to MP's harmless vote so quickly? It almost looks like she knew to respond to it- a fabricated, planned interaction between the two.
:haha:

I can understand how it looks that way, timing wise, but it was purely coincidental. I was working yesterday and doing some training, so I was bored at the computer. I didn't intend on playing mafia or posting at all since I was not caught up but when i opened the site I had a notification from an @mention. I looked to see what he had said about me and responded according to my first reaction. Take it as you will. Now I am going to go back and catch up on the whole thread.

Re: The Search for Quin [Day 1]

Ooookay. I have read everything.

1. Long Con vs. Epi... reading this same basic argument every freaking game you guys play together can be summed up as follows: :wall:

Gut reaction to it is that Epi's initial comment regarding LC seemed flimsy. LC's actions after that, in particular his late claim that it was a joke seem even flimsier. Also Epi's meta case is the same basic thing he has made against LC in every game I have played with the both of them. So I am over reading these two. I don't know who is good or who is bad. One, neither, hell maybe even both. I'm just done with that. Neither one is likely to convince me of the other being bad. if I become convinced one of them is bad it will likely be because of some other action or something unrelated because I think it's all just a big rivalry now. One I don't care about. Enjoy your pissing contest boys. I'm out on that one.

2. MP, sorry but my vote is remaining where it is. I think you are bad after I have read everything. Here is why. My gut reaction to you was why does it make you nervous I'm quiet when you know for a fact i have not even read the thread? Your post seemed questionable. I backed off because yes, you did say you wanted me to say things. But when I read the thread I got this feeling that you are mostly town reading folks. Me, Epi, speedchuck, bwt, etc. The few you have baddie read are Sloonei, who you are clearly giving a very soft baddie read to, and LC who has the most attention of anyone so far. The easy choice. I know you can't devote the time you would have in the past, but gut reading doesn't take time, only cutting back on your infamous walls of text. And the thing with describing bwt's meta. First you declare him good, then you say only a post or two later you can't read him. :suspish: My dear, I believe you are bad. And my vote is not moving.

No one else has made any real good or bad impact on me. uh, wait except speedchuck. This is a gut read I can't explain well but I am feeling town there.

if I am right about MP, I would say either Sloonei or LC is his baddie teammate. If I'm wrong... I don't even know.

Re: The Search for Quin [Day 1]

I didn't pay attention to where he voted until you asked. He moves it so much with his pressure votes, until he votes for real I don't think much of it. It's meaningless. It wasn't even his vote for me that got me suspicious it was what he said by way of explanation.

Why do you suspect speedchuck? I see your vote is on him too? Perhaps I need to ISO him and reconsider how I am feeling, I don't know. I'm open to hearing a case though.

Pls, @everyone, what do you think of my case on spacedaisy?

My case from earlier:
Rereading spacedaisy though has her pretty solidly last, much as I hate to say it. Tone, presence, passive-aggressive way of defending herself, the way she slowly switches from defense to helping push the man lynch trains without calling attention to herself, etc.
Any passive aggressive tones you are getting from me is because sometimes Epi's arrogance level gets on my last nerve. And if I can be honest, it's the reason I have pretty much withdrawn from the activity level I had previously engaged after MP's @mention of me. I don't particularly like being pissed off in a mafia game, least of all at someone I consider a friend. Good guy, but one whose mafia persona I frequently cannot handle with out feeling intense levels of irritation.

Other than that there wasn't any passive aggressiveness. Wait, what main lynch trains did I switch to help push? I didn't even vote for the person who died. I switched from MP to you (which is probably why you are so stuck on me) simply because Wilgy seemed very certain I was reading something into MP. Like he almost seemed to me to be implying he knew something. So it really made me question my read on MP at that time. I never pushed for anyone's lynch except MP's.

So speedchuck, will you be willing to answer when you are dead wrong? When my lynch flips, you ready for that vanilla civ reveal? Because that is what you will get.

let's say for moment that happens. What does that do to your suspicions? Who do you look at next?

Yeah, I'm feeling DDL/sanmateo. sanmateo mentioned DDL at least four times. But DDL only gave any kind of response once and it was far from an impassioned defense. Maybe it's just because I see things the way I would respond, but look at speedchuck. Every time he mentions me I feel compelled to defend myself against what I see as ridiculous accusations. The two theories surrounding the easiness of this bandwagon are that DDL is bad and his teammate(s) have given him up, accepted his lynch and got out of the line of fire; or that he's town and scum are just coasting on an easy bandwagon.

To DDL's credit, he's given us this rousing self-defense today:
Dragon D. Luffy wrote: Tue Sep 12, 2017 9:16 pm RIP Epi.
Dragon D. Luffy wrote: Tue Sep 12, 2017 9:18 pm I mean, most of the time I just assume whoever is accusing me is just wrong.
This would fit more in line with the theory that he's a scum player being given up for dead. His total lack of content suggests to me that he is withdrawn.
If this is the case, however, I'd buy into a 4-person scum team. If the team was down to just DDL and one other, I'd expect there to be more of a fight than this.
Or we're dealing with a 3-man scum team of which DDL is not a part. Or, worst case, a 4-man team that he's not a part of.
You're missing another possiblity. His teammate is either new (NewTraditionalist) and doesn't know how to handle the situation. Or he is on the low side of activity. I'd have to look back to see who that might include.

Serge's post read a little desperate to me right now. And he would fit the low activity. Dom, I could see that as well. New traditionalist is someone I would consider too, given what I mentioned above.

While I won't dismiss the possibility of Sloonei completely, he has put me a lot more at ease with his recent comments.

nutella - X1-X1-X1-V2-X2
Spacedaisy - X1
Sloonei - O1-O1-O1-X1
speedchuck -
NewTraditionalist -
Serge -
birdwithteeth11 -
Dom -

LC - X0-X0-X1-X1
Dr Wilgy - O1-
sanmateo - S2
Epi - S1-O2

A lot of these townreads, or heck, even scumreads, are weak and DDL backs off as he says them. I considered using lowercase to indicate weakness, but the chart is already hard enough to read.

NT was mentioned in relation to MP's vote for NT. DDL didn't like it. Granted, I wasn't a huge fan either.
Those with no mentions were technically a part of DDL's posts when he said stuff like "Everyone else is null" but I didn't include that.

I would appreciate everyone looking at DDL's sloon mentions, and sloon's treatement of DDL, and see if it looks more like DDL buddying and sloonei hunting or DDL defending and then distancing.
I'll check this out in a bit here and get back to you speedchuck, don't want you to think I'm ignoring the request.

Re: The Search for Quin [Night 3]

Please clarify, sanmateo's treatment of bwt makes you feel slightly better about bwt, or slightly better about serge? The majority of your post seemed to be addressing serge but your final sentence is unclear who it makes you feel better about. If I read that sentence alone I would assume you mean bwt, but in the larger context I am uncertain of which person you are talking about.

Re: The Search for Quin [Night 3]

ok, thank you. I think his not a scum coasting kind of player posts are kind of in response to me saying I could see it being him because he was on of the inactive players and I was leaning towards thinking an inactive might be the third. But my real reason for suspecting him is more about how he came in here when it's pretty much do or die for the last baddie and is posting like crazy, trying to convince us of you. Who I have also suspected in the past cycle.

I haven't yet looked at speedchuck's request, but I would like to know who his top suspects are currently?

Re: The Search for Quin [Day 4]

What are your thoughts on the speedchuck kill? I was expecting MP to die so it has surprised me.

Re: The Search for Quin [Day 4]

Frankly I am at a point where I need to decide if I think it's Dom or Sloonei, because that is who I am down to.

On the one hand Dom seems to be phoning it in and his question about who didn't want to lynch DDL seemed off to me.

On the other hand Sloonei cleared me based on DDL being bad before DDL flipped.

I am kind of torn honestly.

I'm going to put my vote on Sloonei at the moment because he was my next suspect after serge already...

Re: The Search for Quin [Day 4]

I'm having a serious flare up of hives at the moment. I am going to go try and put some calamine lotion on and take a nap. I will be back before the deadline though to see if anything has changed my mind, so if you are town Sloon, I need you to convince me.

Re: The Search for Quin [Day 4]

I'm sticking with Sloonei, I keep coming back to the speedchuck kill and I can't see how it makes sense for anyone but sloonei. And none of the people you are accusing right now are active enough to really have come up with that kill in order to frame you and if Dom was a low playing scum, that would not be the person he kills. I just think it's more likely Sloonei. I'm leaving my vote.

And now I am stuck going back to work because some stupid employee decided she was going home, without permission and left the other guy alone. Never mind that it will put my into OT oh and I am BROKE OUT IN HIVES! I fucking hate retail.
