I don't watch sports very often, so I guess that depends? I *really* don't watch extreme sports because I can't actually think of anything, lol. Uhhhhhhh... I like most types of martial arts and I really liked historical fencing when i did that... German longsword and rapier.

I don't watch many sports, mainly only Baseball, on TV. But live extreme sports can be fun, I went to a Highland Games once and that was amazing to watch, I'd like to do that again someday. I like some car racing, but the kind where they just circle a track over and over for hours is hella boring.RondoDimBuckle wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 10:23 pm ok I gotta go get me some GRUUUB! IF I come back and I see people voting people I am going to be MAD!
[I mean its day 0 guys LMAO, votes dont matter so lets all just be nice to each other]
OH OH! WHAT is your favourite extreme sport? OR book if you dont have one
MINE is Rock climbing, not that extreme I GUESS BUT I get to jump around like a MONKEY
I used to do mountaineering and some rock climbing, but I had a knee injury so now I just stick to hiking.
I love sci fi in general, but the one book I always come back to is Dune.

Re: Hotdog Fingers Mafia [Day 1]
After the rainbows and sunshine Day Zero, I'm having issues seeing anyone as sinister tbh. Hrm.
Could be Sean is trying to not so much get reactions from people whose names he throws out, but reactions from other people reactions to the suspicion, and to him making it, if that makes sense.
I think it makes sense. Maybe.
Either that or its the classic "throw shit and see what sticks" ploy. So far I''m leaning the first.

Re: Hotdog Fingers Mafia [Day 1]
Thank You!
I recall a few years back, before I went on break, there was some discussion of a No Yeet poll option, some for some not.
In your opinion, does this benefit town, or the wolves, in general? Like after a feel good day like we had here, this could be an attractive option, but is it a wise one?
Do we use it when we can't come to consensus? Cause it seems like it could be fairly easily manipulated, especially in later days.

You don’t think talking about the giant capering showman taking over the thread, and if it means anything as it relates to the game as a whole, is worth discussing?
I’m sure many of us have opinions about it, and if you don’t want to discuss it, fine. But I don’t love trying to limit other peoples discussion of a topic you don’t care for by labeling it as “bad” .

Re: Hotdog Fingers Mafia [Day 1]
Oh great, the two leading wagons are people I have issues sorting. Just read the last page so far. So Neon is voting Nutella because she is sheeping Falcon, even though she prolly thinks Nutellas's town? Is Rondo voting her cause she kinda bah humbugged his "Happy Happy Joy Joy" routine?
I'll have to read back to find out. But It's super unlikely I'll vote for Nutella, unless there is a super case out there not based on tone or gut reads, because I *always* wolf read her, so my take on her is not reliable.
Also need to ISO read Kate and Wilgy, as well as the thread as a whole, to see why they're voting Falcon. I don't recall much of what either of them said before I was last here. Having voted to elim him in t/t scenarios more than once, and having watched his Day one as a wolf in a w/w scenario, I still have issues telling his games apart. So if my vote goes there, it'll be because I'm sheeping someone i trust. I had good feels about a few people, lets see if they pan out.
I feel pretty good about Kate, her reaction to being at the bottom of nutellas list felt towny to me. I don't recall much of anything from Wilgy. As of my last post, I had good feels about Porscha, Dennis, Windward and Sean, mostly based on feels.
I'll be here most of the day.

The last time I played with him, he was mostly a no show until he pretty much wasn't. Then he came in with a spot on "Player X bad lol" post and was on the money. So don't know if he added much to the towns solve rate there since the bads won that game, but is this his norm, good or bad? He's still at only one.WindwardAway wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 6:38 pmNvm, I answered my own question

Re: Hotdog Fingers Mafia [Day 1]
This is why I always wolf read Nutella. She says stuff like this lol
I ran into a run of Falcons posts during the time when he was taking votes, and his reactions seemed reasonable. I read back, and I liked the way he poked Dennis a bit, even though I thought Dennis word choice issue wasn't AI. If I had to put him in a list, I wouldn't town core Falcon over his ISO, but he'd be in the upper-middle of the middle group. But definitely not in the red.
Is this tone, "lack of fire" mainly? You voted her in your first post, when she had made only 2 posts, both total OT. Would you (who have played with her much more recently overall than I have, I'm sure her game has changed and my experience of her is outdated for the most part) have expected her to have been MORE involved in the Zero lolcattery than she was?
Also, after reading both of you, I get what you mean about the WIM thing, esp when I contrast her more enthusiastic GOC. I also would think after you told her that fairly early in Day One that she would have tried to WIM it up a bit?
So I could see it but I have seen "meh whatever" kinda Nutella as a civ too.
Having read back, a bit of the shine is off of Kate for me. Still in the top half, but I agree with Falcon that this looked opportunistic. BUT this is also a vote I am not sure that bad Kate would make, because she'd worry about looking opportunistic (bad Kate worries ALOT), whereas town Kate does not; she's a lot more fearless than bad Kate. So I still think she's town, but there is a tiny bit of doubt.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 9:36 pmKate wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 8:20 pm I'm just caught up again, glad this is a slowing game. Him not being here doesn't help my progress.
I'll lay a vote here and try to get him to come out and play.

I am not seeing Professor Wilgy as of yet, or other things I associate with town Wilgy, so I won't be sheeping his vote based on trust.

Re Wilgy, no, he doesn't unless you count saying "Yes" as a shtick. Maybe I've gotten so used to him NOT having one the past few games, other than what I think of as Professor Wilgy"; but I could mostly read through it, like in Anni, I knew he was town even with all the licking. In this case it IS a pressure vote as I said when i made it. I'm not trying to get anyone else to follow me, and I'll likely change to a wagon to consolidate before EOD.
I say likely becasue as of now, I don't like any of the three main wagons we have running. Don't think Falcon looks more bad to me than Wilgy, Even though nutella isn't saying anything I agree with, she seldom does, and that's cool. All I'm seeing is vibes and I don't want to vote on vibes with nutella. And I don't think Rondos love posting is all that AI. I'd like to give him another day to post something on topic.
Of the three, I'm least likely to vote for Falcon though.

I'm wondering if a few people are cursed or something with Love and Happiness or something like that. Or maybe not cursed, blessed would be more like it.

Yeah, do that.
Although the more I read the more I think there are some kind of shenanigans going on. Like the ghost of rondo is haunting Mac and Kate.
I searched her posts for "mac" and there were only 7. It wasn't like either of them was universally being townread or anything.Lilypetal wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 5:04 amhow is that a hero vote? fmpov mac is blatantly pushing a villager and getting 0 pushback while others pile on. I don't get the nutella vote at all and it just looks like Mac is openwolfing

Actually that post of lilys I quoted has all three of her direct mentions of Mac. Oopsie, such a cute fluffy mistake.

Re: Hotdog Fingers Mafia [Day 2]
Something deeply disturbing and deeply hilarious is going on here. Also confusing.
One thing town me doesn’t care for is people claiming to be town leaders and telling us who we’re gonna yeet. Ugh.
So my first vote goes to [VOTE: nutella] aubergine
Might change it might not.

I thought Kate was speaking in past tense “seemed”, besides bad reads in day one with Rondostick going on was I think most of us lol.
“I had a dream Sean was bad” lol

Re: Hotdog Fingers Mafia [Day 2]
I prolly have almost as many posts here as I did there already lolpyxxy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 3:54 pm @MacDougall what I was more trying to ask is what do you find about SVS that is scummy because in Cosmere she was mostly afk wolfing after D1/D2 (iirc) and I didn't find her in my spec chat escapades with Scotty so I feel like I'm down to sr her being normal because I don't have a better baseline
@Dennis feel free to chime in here too
But Cosmere wasn’t the norm for me, I had a death in the family and was totally AFK for 4 days then only really answered my @s and maybe one or two posts a day. Robyn carried me.
So that game is a bad baseline to use for me tbh

Sooo (ok screw it I'm dropping the gimmick for this post sorry)
I'm 95% sure nutella gave Kate some sort of green check on nutella
Kate's post being like "does anyone else think we should trust nutella?" Is the sort of question she asks when she's trying to imply something. A stupid question with no explanation. Idk how to explain it better than, trust me, she is my mother
AND nutella being like "it is CLEARLY something else" is them trying to get the point across that it was a green check
Either they are t/t, Kate is w and doesn't want to be outed to nutella, or they are w/w in my eyes and I think Kate is town
:pppp blehh
If Kate had info, do you think she would drop it like that, so hamfisted? I think she has a bit more nuance than that.
This looks like a bit of a soft defense of Nutella to me.
As did this. "For some reason".
And this ...Dennis wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 12:56 pm So the falcon voting fiasco happened
Kate's falcon vote felt worse to me than nutella's vote, for some reason
But falcon's immediately voting whoever was the most opportunistic also gave me icky vibes cause it felt like it was an easy way to place his vote somewhere. Which also makes me really question why his vote was on me before. Though, it may have also been self pres cause I don't know what the vote counts were
You really seem to want to save Nutella.Dennis wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 3:20 pmPeople are killing nutellaMacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 3:17 pm hard claiming and info dumping is cringe and shit... but transparently softing info and then you taking the soft and crystallising it firmly for the world which is essentially the same thing is super not cringe?
make it make sense
I'm not gonna sit around on my silly bum and let this happen, if we don't kill nutella I believe we have a better chance of hitting a wolf
And yeah while Kate probably dies for this (sorry) it gives town another kill and saves a town

Re: Hotdog Fingers Mafia [Day 2]
So Kate was trusting you and sheeping you, and now as soon as she says, 'No Dennis was mistaken, I had no info', suddenly she's bad?nutella wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 5:59 pm I think Dennis genuinely thought he was seeing something with Kate because I saw it that way independently too, but if svs thinks we are teammates I can't really say anything that will make her think otherwise, we just read kates thing the same way. I now think it's possible Kate is wolf who has tmi on me though.
Yikes.

A day one misread doesn't make someone bad. And the post we're arguing about was directed at Dennis, not you. So I'd like to hear his opinion.

I don't think Neon is woof either. I agree with some of her town; you and Porscha, and Kate. The rest I dunno.WindwardAway wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 6:11 pmCrap, I don't scumread you actually
Ngl I'm gonna drop whatever I was doing and take both you and Seanzie off my immediate PoE. I have other people I want out more.
If Seanzie still wants to TD me that's fine, I'm at fault for asking for it. But I saw something from him that made me change my mind while catching up.
[VOTE: Mac] aubergine
Mac should die first.
