In older days on the Syndicate, it was not uncommon for the Day 0 post to have some sort of mechanical impact on the game. Epi hails from that era. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a hidden significance to these votes.

Actually I thought the bolded from tutuu was towny (with the caveat that tutuu needs to actually act in line with this mindset for it to be towny and it's too early to tell if she is) since scum care a lot about looking towny.

I have played in many many games with you. I know what to expect from you. There is nothing that I did that was outside the realms of normality for me. You concocted reasons which is fine but then you kept holding the read and doubled down.

Best dog names are people names or ones that sound cute like calling your pupper a doctor or great and fearsome. Cute nouns like Nutella or Tutuu are acceptable but must go with a small dog. People names with extra numbers or nouns are bad names for a dog but you can at least shorten them to a good name. Strings of words and numbers that don’t even include a person name are really bad names for a dog. Sound more like you were trying to be overly clever when creating a un on a mafia forum than anything dog related and will make the other people at the dog park talk about you behind your back.

Naming dogs after another animal for irony is not clever. It’s at best obnoxious. Like, don’t name your dog “cat.” You’ll give her a complex. “Marmot” is downright offensive as a dog name.

I looked at the GoC 2019 and mafia Sloonei did quite a bit of solving and feeling mostly comfortable early on (unlike the two times I've seen him as mafia) so I don't read him town as strongly as I did.

I definitely believe her in the sense that I do not think there is a universe in which Mafialison makes that claim in her first post. But, yeah, I hesitate to accept that she will not pose any threat to the town’s win condition, or that she has not concealed things from us.

Can people who played Shadow Corridors talk more about how that role works/worked?

The Gambit Demon had three tiers for making a deal and their wincon was to get someone to take a Tier 3 deal or bargain with 7 players. They could say anything they wanted about the deals:

Tier 1: I think it was a roleblock, but the person who took the bargain's vote didn't count for the next day.
Tier 2: Bus driver, and there was some negative consequence I don't remember
Tier 3: Vig shot that also killed the person who took the bargain.

The gambit demon could win with town. We can assume that there are negative consequences for taking the deals, but I think Alison's wincon is compatible with town.

Because nutella usually begins from a position of skepticism on me, and this usually lasts a bit longer than it does for other folks. We’ve got a bit of history of mutual suspicion and feeling each other out early in games. I expect mafia nutella to keep up appearances in that regard, rather than avoiding all confrontation. This is a very nutella-specific read.

Okay. I'm still not going to call Nutella town now but I think her alignment will end up being clear.

You got any suspects coming out of Day 0?

Nutella is the closest thing I have to a suspect but I'm not confident enough to really push there right now and I think she'll become clear with time.

Nutella is the closest thing I have to a suspect but I'm not confident enough to really push there right now and I think she'll become clear with time.

Alison is wolf. Her 3P claim a gambit that other players will look at her claim and think to themselves "no way Maf would do that", as you yourself have already said.

Michelle is wolf cuz she made up her read on Essoa, who isn't playing. Ya, I know what she said, its a mixup from other games she's involved in, but I don't buy it

I think claiming Gambit Demon specifically is unlikely for a wolf fakeclaiming to do since it could get CCed, and it's unlikely that the Gambit Demon is actually a wolf given the original role. I'm pretty certain Alison actually is 3p but I'm not sure if she's telling us everything about her role or who she plans to side with.
