The first ever Winners Game on The Piano featured an ice cream theme. Or it may have been a cupcake theme. I think it was cupcakes actually.

Second @Turnip Head in the last game I played I was BTS with civvie Nutella. She took suspicion in that game, and I don't recall anger as a reaction, I recall exasperation, which I have seen here. Elaborate plz, tell me what I am missing.

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Salvador!]
Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 3:32 pm "We are arriving," intoned the Monitor. "Harbinger awaits us in this universe."
He stepped through the portal, beside the one he had chosen to be Harbinger, the Monitor's most powerful acolyte. His brow furrowed as he saw another figure coming close, out of breath. "Pariah!" he said, his voice grim. "Your presence can mean only one thing!"
"Yes!" said Pariah bleakly. "You must flee! There's no time!" Pariah looked around, panicked, as the Anti-Monitor's shadow demons began to stream out from every dark place, attacking the Monitor's group.
"Fall back through the portal!! Quickly!" The team managed to keep their wits, and their newfound powers, about them. They were able to keep the demons at bay and step back through the portal, with Harbinger and Pariah.
Harbinger raced to the portal controls. "It's no use! The portal won't close!"
"I can override it, I just need three minutes!" The Monitor stepped to the glowing interface.
"We can't hold them back that long!" shouted Pariah, firing a blaster cannon directly into a group of shadow demons who were scrambling to get at the portal from the other side. "They're - they're gonna get through!!"
"Nah, brother," said Salvadore, his deep bassy voice grim with resolve as he strapped a few extra grenades on. "I'll give you the time you need."
Seamus' eyes glistened. "Me friend... I've not the words. Anything I can do for ye?"
"Actually, I need someone to come through with me. I can't do it alone." Salvadore looked to Seamus and held out his hand.
"Er, well then good luck with that and all..." mumbled Seamus as he put his head down and quickly shuffled away.
Salvadore smirked. "No problem. No volunteers? Well, this just turned into a conscription!" He grabbed nutella by the collar and slammed a pulse rifle into her chest. Her eyes widened in shock.
"After you!" Salvadore laughed and tossed her through before she could react. He stood for a second and watched her frantically blowing away shadow demons in every direction, then chuckled and turned back with a final salute.
"I am very good at killing!" he cried, as he jumped through the portal and went back-to-back with a screaming nutella, firing rifles with both hands.
The view through the portal was nothing but fire and blood until the Monitor finally got it closed. Not a single demon got through.
NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME was Salvadore (civilian), from Vault Hunt Mafia, hosted by speedchuck. Nanook has chosen to activate Salvadore's ability, killing himself and determining the Lynch target.
nutella has been lynched! She was Prometheus, an Independent role, from Arrowverse Mafia, hosted by DFaraday.
Nanook and nutella remain as Ghosts for the next three phases, and they may post as outlined in the Original Post.
A message from Salvadore:

He is also an outlier in general, and I saw him do something like it when he was bad when I hosted the Champs game with TH several years ago; make a big splashy play. @Turnip Head,do you recall this? It was end game, though, so not exactly the same, I was thinking more of his thread play.

It's the host's discretion to record copies of the poll; LC and BR are notoriously bad at keeping it consistently
We might have to snapshot it ourselves in the future.
Vote was 6-6 nutella and Master Radishes; speedchuck had a couple votes and I think Jack had one.
Good news is I think most votes were recorded in-thread with the vote tag.

Anyway, let’s talk about the roles, shall we? I see two roles that can ‘send orders’ to a civ. One is a civ role but the other is a baddie. On the one hand, there is potential for civs to become known to another civ. On the other hand, complying risks letting a baddie hijack your power.
Has anyone played with this kind of role mirrored in this way before? My gut says complying should probably be done based on how powerful a player thinks their role is. Thoughts?

Leaning good on sprityo.
Master Radishes: http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 52#p587452 - very helpful interpretation. His posts seem a bit like what i like to do: ignore all Day 1 nonsense, and look at the votes. I'm not voting for this guy.
Turnip Head: http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 61#p587461 - I don't like his posts on MR. TH posts things like "Scum tbqh" and "More like Master Badishes amirite", but he doesn't go into specifics. In the post i linked to, he ignores everything mentioned in the analysis MR made just a couple of posts above his (in which MR tries to find scum in the nutella voters, of which TH is one), and instead throws the attention back at him. This feels like TH is only adding fuel to the MR suspicion without really committing to it. Leaning bad on TH.

I encourage everyone to take a look, my iso from that game is quite a pleasurejuliets wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 9:52 am Ok, I know I said I was going to look at Mac and I am but I got sidetracked to Turnip Head for a few minutes. I looked up the Firefly game to see if I was remembering his scum behavior correctly and what I find is it is radically different from the way he's behaving here. He's lighthearted in that game especially in the beginning but really peppered all the way through and his posts appear more frequently. I did not look at our team chat (I'm not even sure there's a link to it) but I saw enough in the game thread. I'm posting the link here: http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/search ... only&ch=-1
Take a look at it, read through some of his posts, it doesn't take long to read a few pages. Look at page 5 where he welcomes me on board his ship (I believe I subbed in that game) - it's an example of why I said earlier I found him charming.
I don't think I can support a full town read here based on this one game but if he is scum here his behavior has changed a lot.

sabie reads genuine to me like she has nothing to hideDyslexicon wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 12:27 pm I spent time ISOing Sabie, and I would like some opinion on that. I like Sabie's later posts tbh, but in the ISO I found a lot of excuses and putting things off, as in "I haven't read that yet" "I'll catch up later" "I need to check that". I find that scum is more likely to put off catching up or saying to check things and then don't. I also notice how little she mentions Radish and how waffly it is when she does. She also voted Nut with a pretty shaky rationale iirc. So I could see a Radish/Sabie connection. This is also strengthened by how Radish mentioned Sabie as one of the iffier voted on Nut, and how Sabie has not commented on that at all, but completely ignored it.
I honestly had the opinion that an actively involved Sabie with opinions would mean town and that a less involved and waffly Sabie would mean scum. And that she was not that hard to read. But I've gotten the impression that she may be hard to read? Some people have mentioned this at least. So I want opinions from people that know her. Anyway, I'll find quotes that stick out to me.
