Day 1

Dodo could hear the rain pounding down, hitting her window violently and alerting her awake. It was too early to get up and she did not like getting up earlier than necessary.

What was there to get up to anyway?

The year past was the Year of the Pandemic, and this year was no different. Coronavirus had changed everyone's lives, and especially Dodo's. It had been almost a year since she saw any of her friends or family members.

It was a dark and lonely place to be.

At least when she was asleep, she could dream of better times, better things and better days.

It is now Day 1. You have until 6pm EST - Feb 12 - to retire a champ!

NIGHT 3 DREAM ON

Dodo was so distracted from realizing she was out of nutella and Jack (the unchoppable), that she forgot to mention something she dreamed...

True story, when she woke up today she was in a pile of sweat, dreaming of dead birds all over her garden. Large birds, like falcons, hawks and eagles. (dont fact check me on how large these birds are ok)

What kind of hypnotic shit was this? I gotta pinch myself awake before any other animals are harmed here. (no animals were actually harmed in the making of this game ok?)

Dreams, they have a funny way of turning into nightmares pretty quickly.

She was 16 again and people were rickrolling her.

Five times she fell for it. Five! What an annoying fucking trend.

A good friend of hers, ted, once told her that he rickrolled everyone who pissed him off.

Too bad ted was gone now, baby. Gone for good.

NIGHT 6 SLEEP PARALYSIS

Dodo loved her dreams, it was an escape from reality.

So how come sleep had to become so terrifying?

Dodo slept with a life-size panda plushie, to keep her safe. One night, she woke up and saw a pair of eyes staring straight at her. It wasn't the cute panda, it was an ugly person, someone she definitely didn't recognize.

Someone with bad intentions.

Panic ensued. She wanted to scream or move, but was paralyzed, her hands and legs immobile and her voice lost. All she could do was close her eyes.

Waking up the next morning, she beat the living crap out of that panda bear. (no pandas were actually injured)

One of the worst dreams Dodo has, on a recurring basis, is those dreams where everyone is talking over her, at her, behind her (under)...not with her.

No one is listening; it's almost like she's invisible, no matter if she repeats herself once or 6 times. It doesn't help when you're sort of bipolar with very different personalities....

Or maybe they think she's a dead woman walking?
