Hello everyone just checking in - and Epi I knew your racist comment was about a sports team though I had to ask my husband if the Indians were baseball or basketball (I can't wait till football starts back).

Just fyi, I have work and physical therapy today (true for every Mon, Wed, Fri) so I won't be around until after 3:30 ish. Did the Indians win?

I don't have any feel for whether they are civ or not, it's too early. I think you and Epi are poking at me to see what comes out, Dys Im not sure about and INH is following Epi. As for interrogation I just haven't seen anything to interrogate yet.

I would expect some kind of inquiry about the reads Mac and I were throwing around, for example.

Maybe I will have questions tomorrow but I was out of pocket for most of the day and am dead dog tired. You will find - if I live - that I question and try to solve the game in the morning and early afternoon hours. I am not a late afternoon/night time player.

Ok, I'm fresh now and going back through the game. I'll be commenting as I go so if I ask you something that has been answered later in the game just ignore me.

I just hit Mac's first town reads. Mac, I'll never understand how you can call people so early especially Epi who seems different in each game I play with him. What causes you to call him town? Same for INH, JJJ, and Pennywise (do you know Pennywise from another site?)?

On Jack I think I saw an explaination later why you read him as bad so I'll wait and see. Hope your tonsillitis is better.

I tend to agree with you on Mac. I don't see Scotty's saying he didn't read his role card as AI and I don't really agree with your Kyle read. He seems like normal Kyle to me so far.

Dizzy, why is it AI for me to tell everyone when I will be around? I don't want people talking to me and expecting me to post when I'm not here - It leads to misunderstandings. I did have a question for Epi about baseball but thats not at all unusual. In Discord when he is there I often ask about and talk to him about who he is betting on. You say it seemed unnatural but on the contrary it is very natural for me in my relationship with Epi.

Scotty, it's interesting I thought Mac looked civ when he did this because it looked like his civ game to me. I haven't played with Mac all that long though so can you tell me what his civ game looks like to you?

I always thought the reason for the aubergine is so we could search for it and look at the vote order since the new poll we have doesn't list people in vote order for the vote.

There are four people I will not vote for today unless I have to save myself or they scum slip: LC because he's died early in two games in a row, sig because he gets mis-lynched so often, Mac because my initial read of him is civ and Epi for the same reason.

I don't like this post. I always think baddies are more likely to act defeatist than civs (not that civs can't, but I think baddies have a tendency to forget about the game and jump to AtE sooner than civs who still want to hunt)

As I said in the post, I was dead tired last night and just over it. I don't post seriously at night because I am usually too tired. Morning is my time and I feel differently this morning than I did last night. I will fight a Lynch.

I don't feel like have a good read on the Jack votes. I understood Mac's reason but Jay and Dizzy could you provide some context for your vote? If I just missed it point me to your iso.

My point was just me expressing the feeling I got from that post. It was pretty much the only thing that stood out to me at that point. I'm just saying the telling when you will be around plus the little chit chat question afterwards came across as unnatural to me. It's a feeling and a hunch and was what I got at that moment. It's not about the act of saying when you'll be around (I agree that's helpful and town and scum can both do it), just about my feeling of it. Which may be annoying, cause it's not really possible to defend yourself against a "hunch", but that's mafia for you. So that was my starting point and I'm reading yours and every other post with interest.

I'm curious though, how do you parse the suspicion against you? I expressed my feelings, Jimmy agreed and later Epi says he came back to the thread just to express suspicion on you for pretty much the same reason. So, if you are town, you know we're wrong, but what is the intent?

Here's how I parse it: I lean towards believing Epi, because the post he made seemed spontaneous, and I think that's hard to fake as scum. I also think Epi is more of a stone cold type of scum player, being more factual and forceful (but maybe this is wrong?). So far I believe that he actually did find it funny that I had the same feeling as him and that he wanted to express that also.

As for Jimmy, I'm not as sure, but I don't see the reason why scum!Jimmy would have to agree with my suspicion when he already had layed out suspicions of his own. It's not like he lacked things to investigate or talk about. So I lean towards thinking that is genuine too.

And if they both are genuine, we're either three town that are wrong about an early hunch (entirely possible of course) or there's something to it. That's where I'm at now.

As always, I'm also very much interested in all the players not post much. I feel there's a good chance many scum are among those.

I thought Epi's reason for suspecting me was genuine because he is right, I ask a lot of questions in games and so far I had not when he expressed that opinion. His reason was different from yours. I didn't really get a handle on why JJJ did not feel good about me but one of my impressions was that he was not thinking about the fact that I am not a late day/night person so my not participating later in the day was not odd, and I was busy most all day yesterday. And I think it's entirely possible for 3 people to have a bad feeling about someone even though they are civ. That's how civ get lynched after all. I hope this answered your question but let me know if it didn't.

Also, my saying I won't vote people for outside the game reasons unless I have to save myself or they scum slip is the same as Scotty saying he won't vote people he hasn't played with before.

Some people prefer to civ read and use POE. I prefer to accuse people until their role cards change by sheer force of will into Mafia ones.

I do in fact prefer POE because I am not great at finding mafia by the means you and other players use. I'm just not that good at it.

Jack's absence from the thread is the most suspicious thing I see at the moment. I'll wait for his reaction and then decide whether to vote for him. That said, there's plenty of time for something else more suspicious to crop up before the lynch.

I didn't realize you were in 3 games Jack. I do recall that you were quiet in GOC because you were busy with your other game and you were civ there.

I am also used to Kyle being more active and lose but he has recently taken a job and is not as available as he once was. I have to take that into account when assessing him.

Not at all. But he usually throws a spite vote on me D1 on every game we play, so I wouldn't read too much into that 'no u' vote.

I need to hear more from Avito, Dom, INH, lap, Pennywise and wolbre04. I'm a fan of the theory that mafia lays low - I saw it in spades in GOC - so I could give my vote to someone who has not participated much.

To look at an ISO of people who have not recently posted I have to click the ISO for Jay, find his post, and then from there get to the ISO I want. I'm going to read his ISO now. I don't recall his response to Marmot's vote for you and I'd like to read his reason in his words for voting for Avito. I'm not inclined to vote for him unless I see something really strong.

I'm also looking over the people I named earlier. I'm probably not going to vote Dom because his quietness in GOC wasn't due to him being bad. The rest of them are new to me except for INH. INH pulled the wool over everyone's eyes in GOC even though he was low on the radar so that's a possibility. I'm just having trouble voting a newcomer, even one who said something rude about our emojis (which doesn't make him bad).

Mild suspicion. I'm a bit concerned about his initial vote for Avito given that it was based upon the new guy's lack of hunting when at that point I think half the game fit that description. His response to Marmot's vote for me is a bit concerning too.

Jay, I think LC's reason for voting Avito is a little more than just lack of hunting. He commented that it looked like Avito was posting just to post, padding his post-count, so I'm not really bothered by the fact that there were others not hunting. I do think it's possible LC let some irritation seep into his vote because Avito said the smilies suck and LC made a group of our smilies. Somehow I don't mind that though, even though Avito's saying it doesn't make him bad.

Regarding his response to Marmots vote I definitely remembered it after reviewing it because I saw where he was coming from though I didn't initially think that when I saw Marmots vote. It doesn't seem likely you would go out day 1 so I can see his thinking it was a wasted vote.

I'm not inclined to a LC vote today, I just don't think the evidence is strong enough to kick him out early again.

Ok, wolbre04 was one of the people I mentioned and now I see JJJ and Scotty have voted for him. I'll swallow my discomfort at voting someone new to me and put my vote here as well. He wanted more action, we have more action and he is nowhere to be found.
