Re: An Australian Country Murder Mystery (Day 1)
Tony's entrance is ehhhh
G's is good if a little heavy-handed but I respect that he wants some meta. G-Man Michelle tends to ask people a lot of questions (kinda like juliets actually now that I think about it). LLD I've only played with once and the game is still going so I probably shouldn't talk about it. Tony and sabie I've played with a handful more times but couldn't really give you much specific description of their styles, I think they both vary a fair amount.
Quin is schooling the rest of us on the aussie slang. Idk if I'll even try. Uh, who's coming to my sausage sizzle?

I would absolutely love to play a mafia game with you but that’s going to require you to play a mafia game with me as well.
Please post.
If I was mafia, I wouldn’t start the game with a push on a guy who tends to get himself lynched all on his own.
but I still feel like my initial concern wasn't even answered. Jack were you "pushing" DF with the post or not?

I've never liked when people say things like "I can sort this person/start trying to solve the game by day X" -- if you're town it's like asking to be night killed, if you're scum it's lazy and a slightly manipulative way to wriggle out of a lynch

Stupid Sloonei frisbee votes.
Why nutella over LC?
Jack: Why?
Nutella: Cause you did this thing.
Jack: I clearly didn’t. Why am I suspicious?
Nutella: Cause maybe you were doing this other thing.
Jack: That’s stupid. Of course I wouldn’t do that as a wolf. Why am I suspicious?
Nutella: Lol idk.
LC: I like the part where Nutella says “Cause you did this thing.” Vote Jack”
Tony: Jack is obviously town.
Quin: Jack is obviously town.
Nutella: Tony Probably has tmi.
So Nutella has been caught making false statements, reads that aren’t based on anything and general jenga-y play.
Doesn’t keep pushing me. Doesn’t drop it. Switches to a clarifying question with an already apparent answer that doesn’t really do anything but deescalate and moves on to Tony.

I push back on her and she suddenly thinks I’m town and Tony is a wolf for having tmi on me.
She leaves for a bit and comes back to me questioning her and says “I’m just trying to figure out what you meant.”
Then she sees I have two votes on me and votes there as well, forgetting her earlier tmi read.
She’s not hunting. She’s looking for a mislynch and looking to avoid trouble.
She’s a wolf.

No you literally said my town meta is to say "lol idk"Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:56 pmWhat? No. Your town meta is that you’re waffly. Waffling and being misleading are not the same thing. They’re not even remotely similar. Waffling and having reads that you can’t given reasons for because they’re fake are not the same thing either.nutella wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:53 pmLol didn't you just say that was my town meta thoJackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:57 amGood advice.Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:53 amVote me if you suspect me. Why should I suspect you as much as I suspect Nutella?Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:45 amAin't no big dog attacks on Day 1, dude. And so you would try to lynch people who suspect you, but only if you think they're serious and might be successful? You're just Mr "No U"?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:30 am
I’m characterizing LC as a small dog, grabbing my pantleg in his teeth and pulling. He’s “attacking” me but it doesn’t bother me and I’m not going to try to lynch him for it.
This is Civ behaviour now? "I'd OMGUS him but i think I can weather this so I won't."
I’m voting Nutella for saying things that aren’t true and answering my questions about her opinions with “lol idk.”
You're so full of inconsistencies your eyes are heterochromatic
You’re not considering my alignment. You’re considering my vulnerability.

I'm not "trying to do" anything lolJackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:58 pmHang on to that idea like your life depends on it, fur ball.nutella wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:56 pmYeah this still doesn't explain why you got all defensive about pushing him when you weren't pushing himJackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:35 pm Cause I spent a long time trying to type a message that both emphasized how I think it’s important that DF actually play the game without sounding like a dick and I guess I was ready to get flack for it. DF is mislynch bait when he’s town and I was taking a somewhat hostile stance towards him.
I’ve got six pelts this year from wolves doing exactly what you’re trying to do.

Re: An Australian Country Murder Mystery (Day 1)
Ya that's why I wasn't sure. But I think it's quite likely one of you is bad. If you don't want me to vote for you convince me it's Tony.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:59 pmHow can Tony have a tmi townread on me if I’m a wolf?nutella wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:58 pmNo dude, my read of Tony happened because of Tony's post, not because of you. Calm your ego.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:42 pm Notice how the strength of Nutella’s read moves with the thread momentum.

This lmaoJackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 10:17 amNutella’s town meta is being waffley and when asked to back up her opinions, she’s like “lol idk” and she’s not even really asking questions but making false statements.DFaraday wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 3:12 am After catching up, I don't feel super strong about most of the field so far, but Nutella is a standout as seeming towny to me. She's offering thoughts on a lot of players, asking questions, not being waffly.
Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:20 am Why would I fucking buddy DF even if I was a wolf? There’s only about a 25% chance he even votes today.
I don’t believe you believe the things you are saying.
Gonna go ahead and vote [VOTE: Jack] aubergine for now.
