Sorry today has been a really long difficult day. 12 hour work day 2 support groups in one day and some unexpected crises. Just haven't had the chance to be here. So this ends tomorrow at 8 pm not 5 am on Saturday correct?

I'm glad this game isn't a million pages per day though at least so catching up isn't bad. I will read through again to see about reads.

I'm not sure if Tony legit claimed innocent child or just like said it randomly. I was under the impression there's only one so if there's two claims one isn't legit.

I mean whoever the innocent child is can be confirmed by the host if they so choose. So then is that a bad look for the liars or is everyone just going to say they were joking?

Tony's claim was followed by telling cayvie to claim cop as mafia so that's why I thought maybe it wasn't serious.

I think a lot of those little personality things are relatable

Are you legit asking or like being sarcastic? I'm going off of a recent game she was in as town. Also, the question was about pocketing so I didn't think that was what was happening.

Also I wish I knew how to make ISO links because that would be helpful in this game.

Thinkin my vote goes here right now. By and large I agree with my fellow IC TSP. Cayvie had an awkward entry, awkward interjection in the Hally/Hyena thing, and instant why me fry me when TSP scumreads her, while pointing only to Hyena (looking like LHF town to me) as a suspect. Pretty level 1 stuff but it is what I have right now.

MP7 is definitely an outlier. Hard to say whether that's due to personality (Fire type, wow!) and lack of time or being mafia. I share Hally's suspicion of the pocket attempt but don't think it worked. Also a very weird response, seeming to not understand TSP is calling her + cayvie as vote candidates? Also she called Hyena "self-resolving" which makes me go hmmmmmmmmm.

Sabie doesn't have much down still. Would appreciate some discussion with her. Sabie, who do you think is mafia and why? What do you think about the use of subtitles in the original Star Wars trilogy, and their absence for R2-D2 and Chewbacca?

Minor Mist tinfoil but mostly feeling good there. Think Hally is town, their state of mind is palpable.

Hyena... is hard to follow for me but in a way that makes me think they are town. The thoughts seem genuine, as the kids say, and unagenda'd. "I was worried I would look w/w with Hally because if Evenstar was in this game and we were w/w Evenstar would bus me" is a heck of a take to manufacture.

I'm more of a trekkie to be honest but they put subtitles for everything like music and random sound effects so it seems silly not to include them.
As far as who is mafia? Ehhh I'm not sure yet. Thoughts are maybe cayvie or hally? I've been reading this game but not fully processing all of it. Plus I kinda tldr'd the random pokemon stuff. I don't know if that's like some kind of inside joke or something I wasn't sure what was going on there.
(I'm just stressed about other stuff not annoyed about anything here in the game. I'm trying. I hope maybe after getting some sleep I can be more productive.)

IRL stress. Doing two jobs at once and trying to train a new employee and just started 2 new support groups plus some other family drama stuff. It sure has been a week but just keep moving forward. Sometimes it takes me awhile to get into games initially as well. I'll get there I'm working on it.

I've only played one game with cayvie and that was Upick. I'm not opposed to a cayvie vote I thought maybe her theory on hally and hyena was a genuine thought but then she hasn't come back and further discussed so ehhhh.

I guess the only issue with voting cayvie is it's real easy to just go after the person who stopped participating and isn't around to defend or discuss anything else.

How would you summarize your experience with cayvie there?

I don't know I just thought maybe it was a genuine thought she had rather than a fake one but then she hasn't been back to discuss anything further since so now I'm not so sure.

I think cayvie was kinda in and out in that game as well if I remember correctly but that was also the game with 50 players.

I was just throwing that out there as I've seen that happen before to people who ended up being town. I guess I was also asking if anyone is more familiar with her and if that is her usual or out of character for her. As I said I only played the one game with her.

Do you have an alignment read on Mist based off of that post or in general?

I've been iffy on mist so far. I havent felt as though they're posts are towny. Then they come into the thread after not being here for a bit and that's the only thing they can come up with is that I said something about the multiple claims. Ehhhh?

Even though I've played mafia on and off for 6 years I still haven't seen everything. I I've actually never played a game with the innocent child role so I believe it was a misunderstanding on my part as to how that works. That's all that was. This is a case of putting way too much meaning into me just being confused about something.

I'm sorry I didn't make it home in time for end of day I had poor service while I was out. I'm not sure if I would have changed my vote. maybe to mist?

Mist didn't give a reason for voting me aside from reading one of my posts and saying it was weird. I also didn't defend cayvie I was moreso trying to have more discussion about it. I don't like piling votes on the person who isn't there to defend themselves but I wasn't against the cayvie vote. Mist had said cayvie was a strong townread. I think the whole not being able to see the votes impacted end of day and I was not able to be here.

Hally being a busser could work in the sense that now she has cred and has narrowed things down to kill one of these three. However, I think mist is the most likely option.

I looked through cayvies ISO and those quotes stood out to me. If anything can be gleaned from her ISO I thought maybe those quotes were significant. Alas as always my thoughts and ideas don't make sense to anyone else but me. I thought it was mist but then those interactions seem weird as teammates.

I mean cayvie has a whole interaction about bussing and being a vengeful mafia and then ended up being the vengeful mafia so I pointed that out. I thought maybe that was something worth discussing if we're analyzing cayvies ISO. If no one thinks looking at other players interactions with a mafia member is worthwhile then fine I give up go ahead and misyeet me. If someone else had come up with that idea it would be awesome smart amazing cool. If I say it, it's heavily questionable and makes no sense and why would I ever even think that was meaningful?

I shall sleep and try again tomorrow. Just feeling frustrated. I'll get over it and keep trying.

I was not townreading cayvie. I just was trying to consider all options. I was fine voting her and then I felt like the thread started moving away from scum reading her and I didn't end up voting there. I think had there actually been a poll and I could see where the votes were I may have changed my vote to her. It's hard to fully read someone when they just stop being here but I was not defending her and I was not townreading her I just wasn't sure about her. If people would like to interpret my no vote on her as townreading her then that's on them.
I think mist probably was the most sketchy I just like to consider other options just in case there was something missed. (No pun intended)

Aside from what I've already mentioned that this is a conversation from the vengeful mafia about the vengeful mafia. Mist (who is a top suspect right now) is involved in this exchange here. Did mist and cayvie plan this exchange to distance in some way? Or does that not seem plausible.

This interaction I thought was significant because again it was a discussion regarding why would mafia bus in a flipless setting. The person who is the vengeful mafia says well if mafia wanted to use thier vengeful kill they could bus. There was some discussion on whether or not all the cayvie votes are cleared or if bussing could have happened so this seemed relevant to the conversation in my mind. Perhaps to others it did not so again I apologize if I didn't make that clear.
Maybe it's not significant and doesn't mean anything I just thought it was worth noting and perhaps discussing.

Now that I read cayvie I feel her thought about hyena and hally may have been genuine but then she disappeared after Wednesday. I think tony is his usual town self. I could see maybe a vote for mist I don't feel like they're towny though I guess others do. I think MP seems like her town game before. I'm just not sure.

Bolded and underlined the key phrase. This, as I understand it, is the exact reason that MP7 and Mist gave for why they townread Cayvie. So, posting that specific stance + not voting cayvie is why I currently have you lumped in that group. You may not have said "I townread Cayvie" but if you prefer we can adjust the language to "people who believed cayvie's thoughts were genuine and did not vote her." Does that make sense?

Yes and the rest of the sentence was but she hasn't posted since Wednesday which is my own weird way of being like hmmm what's up with that? I had been reconsidering and I was changing my mind. I can re explain that I (I guess wrongly) after that thought people were reconsidering cayvie and I let it influence my opinion when maybe I shouldn't have. I was going to change to cayvie then I think maybe it was MP said oh cayvie is probably just town and then the conversation started moving away from it. There was no poll and I didn't even realize people were still voting there. I just tried to have further discussion about it and I was asking if people had any familiarity with her or her playstyle or whatever. If that was responded to then I missed it and I'm sorry.
I did not defend cayvie I just wanted to generate discussion and look at other options.

I do realize I word things weirdly and people always misunderstand me. I also realize the remaining mafia has to build a world where someone else is and I am an easy target because no one here gets me. I guess I can't blame them for that since they also want to win this game.

I've only played one game with cayvie and that was Upick. If you're going to quote my thoughts on cayvie at least include my follow up thought where I was reconsidering. The ehhhhh was me being like huh maybe cayvie is bad. I realize now maybe not everyone understands that's what I meant by that. This was me asking for opinions if anyone is familiar. I'm pretty sure in upick she up and disappeared for awhile as well and ended up being town so I was just wondering if that was just her norm or if this her being sketchy.

How would you summarize your experience with cayvie there?
I don't know I just thought maybe it was a genuine thought she had rather than a fake one but then she hasn't been back to discuss anything further since so now I'm not so sure.

I think cayvie was kinda in and out in that game as well if I remember correctly but that was also the game with 50 players.

I was just throwing that out there as I've seen that happen before to people who ended up being town. I guess I was also asking if anyone is more familiar with her and if that is her usual or out of character for her. As I said I only played the one game with her.

MP was giving me a hard time about trying to diaxuaa cayvie and then in the middle says I looked through cayvies ISO and she's probably just town.

So to answer MP7 now: my take on Sabie's defensiveness is that it is a good look. Her statements re: her stance on cayvie are true and consistent with frustration at being lumped in as "defending cayvie," which from her perspective is an inaccurate characterization that she is fighting back at being pinned with. I was aware of this at the time I initially put forth that characterization, as a hypothesis test to see how Sabie would respond to it.

I think she responded in a consistent and towny fashion. Currently I believe Sabie the most out of the three non-cayvie-voters, making her the one that I do NOT wish to yeet. There is some chance that she is playing this off to deflect and hedge, but it is exactly what I would expect from town in her spot.

(Additionally I do not buy the argument brought against Sabie by Mist yesterday, regarding confusion over IC claims being "the most suspicious thing in the thread." I find that also believable for town and not very scummy if at all. That argument being weak is another part of why my current suspicious lie on Mist and MP7.)

The thing about mist is they came in said I was weird for not understanding the IC thing and then drive by voted me and left. Mists post after cayvie was yeeted was "weh". ...? Is that like sadface? After catching a mafia? So mist and cayvie have that interaction regarding the vengeful thing and then cayvie disappeared and mist was left alone and had to randomly try to come up with some other idea of where to vote and just picked me. Could be that I mean it seems like the most obvious answer but we do have time discuss further if that's not what happened.

I had some similar thoughts regarding hally as MP. I thought it was possible they may have planned to bus in order to get the vengeful kill.
Mist though even admitted to being somewhat disconnected to the game and after awhile (cayvie disappeared) started fizzling out of being involved.

Didn't think of the roles being reversed between tony and hyena I guess that's possible but like you said I don't know if that changes anything.
