Also, I usually will post a little list with alignments/flips/deaths at the end of each phase if that's allowed here. It helps me gamesolve a bit and also is useful to others (I use these on my home forum when I host)

Yeah that's pretty accurate. My first game of mafia ever on a forum was about five months ago, so I'm still learning steadily. I have never gotten mafia before but I won my second game ever as Serial Killer. I don't know if I can make a joke about the last sentence as it might be against the rules and I don't want to get killed immediately haha. But I don't really have a meta because I'm all over the place

I'm going to have to use previous experience alone to comment on this, but in the games where sig has been scum that I've participated in, he's hyper aggressive in my view at least. Here he hasn't really been aggro towards anyone. His town meta from a game I hosted is comparable to this, although a good number of his posts have been fluffy (but many of us are the same)

I will be around much closer to EoD and throughout the night, I worked 2 12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday and have class today, so I haven't been able to fully invest myself yet in the thread and make a post that's substantial

I do not like the fact that several people haven't really posted much tbh, if they're all town it burns even more

Which several people are you singling out?

Yeah jack primarily, kites posted some but hadn't been in for awhile. Otherwise people being gone for everything after the first hour or two of day 1 is concerning to me as they could have some critical knowledge or read, etc

I've played a total of 8 mafia games in my life including this one. I've been town 7 of them(this plus 6 others) and SK the other 1
I am 5-2 with my games so far. I won as serial killer in my second game ever. Otherwise I mostly keep to myself because I've gotten Chinese fire drill lynched for expressing my opinions on other sites before after similar ones have been said (because they think I'm too sheepy) or because I scumread a town player. So generally I don't say my piece unless there's something I deem worthwhile in there.

So your suspicions lie on anyone who voted for confirmed town. Even though you did the very same thing.

I was worried about a tie tbh, a d1 no lynch has happened to me in games before and I feel like it puts us into an endless cycle of misinformation. This probably sounds flimsy but
a. I'm new so Epi's behavior seemed weird as I don't know anyone's metas that was alive at the time
b. I posted the "No Lynching is illegal" Trump gif (this should obviously be enough)
c. I wasn't going to be around for several hours after voting, and he seemed the best option at the time (I didn't post after that for quite awhile). I wouldn't have felt comfortable with a sig lynch because he was not acting scummy based on my games with him on my home forum.
d. At the time, Epi had 3(?) votes on him I believe and was the leading wagon, with 2(?) votes on another player - I wasn't going to risk a tie when our information tank is empty.

Additionally, do we know if Mafia was potentially RB'd and a vig (or one of the indies gave someone a vig shot) and they took out Epi? Food for thought I suppose.

On my home forum it just ends with no one being lynched. I don't like the alternative of a random person either, while there is a chance a persian might get hit, I'm not comfortable taking the rope myself

I genuinely just didn't like his playstyle, that was my base for his vote. Half the votes d1 were baseless and all but reads. He just gave me a funky feel (albeit wrong) but still

after reading up on sloonei I'm feeling progressively less inclined to believe that he's mafia, actually.
+3 points in my book. He's more of a neutral / town lean, and I don't want to mislynch again.

Looking at the Day 1 poll, Marmot and Nova voted for sig. Sig got lynched, and lots of people voted for him. Why are these two singled out as particularly suspicious?

I could quote you two of his post where he gives to meta-read on me based on my activity (being quiet). The initial one was as Town when he was engaged with Dom and voting Dom. The new one is as scum in order to justify his bogus vote.

Nova votes for Sig after Sig voted for him to prod a bit (Not like nearly everyone else did this at some point). I would put marmot as closer to town than nova, maybe null lean scum?

I had the thought that Sloonei was a possible member of the Hellenic League too, but quite frankly I don't give a crap and if we lynch him and he flips any of those three I would consider that a net positive given they have the future capacity to be scum anyway. I'd also consider it slightly less likely mathematically than him just being outright Persian.

I'll come back to this later on. In the meantime I'll get some shit done and be a good boy

Just what I'm thinking

So your suspicions lie on anyone who voted for confirmed town. Even though you did the very same thing.
I was worried about a tie tbh, a d1 no lynch has happened to me in games before and I feel like it puts us into an endless cycle of misinformation. This probably sounds flimsy but
a. I'm new so Epi's behavior seemed weird as I don't know anyone's metas that was alive at the time
b. I posted the "No Lynching is illegal" Trump gif (this should obviously be enough)
c. I wasn't going to be around for several hours after voting, and he seemed the best option at the time (I didn't post after that for quite awhile). I wouldn't have felt comfortable with a sig lynch because he was not acting scummy based on my games with him on my home forum.
d. At the time, Epi had 3(?) votes on him I believe and was the leading wagon, with 2(?) votes on another player - I wasn't going to risk a tie when our information tank is empty.
For wolbre to have been so concerned about a day one no-lynch makes me suspect him a bit. I'm going to [VOTE: wolbre04] aubergine for now.

Logic: wolbre joined a lynch train and when I asked about it, defended his decision by saying he didn't want the chance of a no-lynch on day 1 (although he was mistaken about how that worked). I would be okay with a defense based off his suspicion of the person, but to just want to get a lynch through no matter what, seems like a scummy thing to do. More town kills leads to faster mafia victory.

Take it as you may, but of the last 4 games I've been involved with, people have tried to "prevent a town lynch" day one and day two in 3 of them successfully at least one of those days. Im used to no one being lynched as opposed to a random lead wagon. That's my mentality there

The fact that you're trying to hold this against me is really pingy to me and kicks you down a few notches on my list

Meanwhile, TH has managed to avoid any scrutiny or scuffling. That's mildly suspect.
His recent responses have caused me to push him down to fourth in my list of four baddies. He's still the one that could most easily be replaced by someone else in terms of the interlocking pieces. While his response to MP is an ill-advised No U, it doesn't absolutely have to be a baddie mindset.

I'm also not loving colonialbob today.
