i’ll come back later and it’s 7am and i should sleep and so on so forth, but i would like to see the entire setup and all roles. i don’t think that is unfair to ask either, i’ve never heard of a setup not outed after a game ending

but yeah i’d like this to be productive, maybe we can have more setup reviewers or some official process like MU

You mention not wanting this to happen again, so maybe we can have a mafia thread on the site about roles that do and don’t work. Maybe something productive can come of this for everyone.

I value and respect everyone that played, hosted, and was involved in any way. This was just meant to be a little Christmas fun; I’d hate to leave it on such bad terms.

I think if you want to make other complaints they should be done out of the thread. You think this game was unfair, and you are entitled to your opinion. But if your issue is with me and Roxy then what is really unfair is all the people who will be subjected to read this. Mac didn’t do anything. Long Con didn’t do anything. Darling Monroe didn’t do anything etc etc.

i’ve made it very very clear that my issue is singularly regarding the setup. and it’s explicitly not a personal attack towards you and roxy, even if roxy singled me out and called me a bad sport, i did not return such a compliment

also if either pyxxy/dm had a role that was confirmable then every other host would have called the game as a town win sod3. that’s a result of the setup and not the mafia play which you point out

and i’m being public about it because my issue is just that, purely regarding the setup. because yes i’m mad and frustrated at the setup and only the setup. it’s impersonal if anything even though you’re the host and i’m the player i have the unique position of getting shafted after the entire mafia team played well but lost mechanically

if it was personal i wouldn’t include the spectators and other players, instead it’s purely a game balance issue wherein other players have thoughts too. upon conceding long con thought the game was mathematically won for town, and mac commented that he felt sorry for the wolves unless they had serious catch up mechanics. and i value both of these players inputs in the setup because judging by their comments so far they’re gonna be upset with the setup too. because they didn’t really get to play either

i also want to make sure other hosts don’t make the same balance errors

i would have not posted it but it's gonna be released anyway, take up any issues you have with roxy

rondo/LC/Scotty were all confirmed town. and that's being generous ignoring mac.

3v8 but 3 clears

poe of 8 with 3 mafia. upon flip of porscha she clears abbie mechanically. furthermore rondo's role generates a clear. so leetic mechanically could not have died that day with a cc of leetic porscha because of rondo's role

abbie + x are clear

rondo dies over night

4 clears and poe of 5 with 2 mafia

7v2
5v2
3v2

so we need 3 chops to win. and who knows what mech would have done to this

all town agree it was a mafia win if it was mountainous. we lost on mech. what do you not understand? why should we have played on lmfao?

one of them came from his role, the other came from an in-thread trivia event where he answered some question about the movie this game is based off of and won another doctor action

i dont know which one for what, but afaik he had 2 doctor actions at his disposal, one from his role, one from trivia, and protected himself and rondo. self-targetting was allowed this game at least for us. so it probably doesnt matter which one he used for what
