Hmmmmmm. I acknowledge your valid and sensical reasoning. Doesn't help that I find your hand in the Seanzie wagon to be sus, though.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: βWed Mar 08, 2023 6:42 pmCR indirectly defended Seanzie in what looks like a dishonest way (assuming there aren't in fact multiple players shielding Seanzie in the posts I haven't read) when he was an alternative to Jack/Neon and then was on board with yeeting Seanzie after the Seanzie wagon had already overtaken the Jack and Neon wagons.pyxxy wrote: βWed Mar 08, 2023 6:38 pm"I would be unsurprised if CR and Seanzie are wolves together."Jackofhearts2005 wrote: βWed Mar 08, 2023 6:33 pm I would be unsurprised if CR and Seanzie are wolves together.
CR pushes Seanzie a bit early on with Creature (Creature way moreso) and Dunya gives him a single post of shit for it.
Fast forward half a day. Wagons are Jack and Neon. Reasoning for Seanzie being a wolf is still valid. CR says multiple players are shielding Seanzie. Maybe they're in the last few pages but it reads to me like "multiple players shielding Seanzie" is actually "Dunya made one post about not liking a push on Seanzie."
And now, after the Seanzie wagon has taken off in spite of CR's refusal to move there, now CR is sure Seanzie is a wolf.
Fucking reeks.
I think you are big wrong about this, but only because you posted like 3 minutes too soon.
CRichard seems pretty willing to push Seanzie here and I don't see how a D1 bus of Seanzie makes any sense for the wolves, when leaving Seanzie alone would keep him in the POE, and if he went full town/proved himself town in a worrying way, scum could just NK him N2 or N3.
Seanzie wolf here only makes sense if we've really caught him and maybe none of the other wolves are voting him yet. I don't feel the numbers yet to indicate that this is a bus.
Like, I agree with 100% of your observations and we noticed the same thing around the same time here. But I disagree with your conclusion that this could somehow be CRichard/Seanzie w/w

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
Let's set aside real life for now.
Do you think Roxy is a viable counterwagon with 20 minutes to do?
How about joining me on a Jack wagon?
I think we agree that Jack does not sound like a mafia resigned to dying on D1. He's doing a pretty good job pushing Seanzie here as a miskill, and to prove that he (Jack) is trying, because that will get him townread (for now).
That's my read on the situation, at least.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
rip to the Jack wagon I guess
someone confirm this, did Creature and Chihiro move from Jack to Seanzie? and Jack thought he was voting Neon but wasn't and he's reasonably on Seanzie given his casing of Sean
CRichard on Roxy makes sense given CR seems to just be voting in their personal poe. However, given how many people townread Roxy, I'm wondering if it's just a safe spot for CR to park their vote
really CRichard kinda reminds me of my first impression of lucy, bit of arrogance and a strong belief in their own solving skills + how they view the game, mild distaste for any other playstyles

Idk it comes off as a white knight mafia
When do people learn TMI accusations on D! hold no water?
prove
and
postulate
CRichard seems focused on TMI involving some way to _prove_ that a mafia had the knowledge, or at least starting from a place of fact aka flips
while maybe TS players or at least DOOM and Kate here have a broader definition of TMI that includes speculating if someone _might_ know that someone else is town because the first someone might be mafia, and none of this involves flips
personally I think both methods are valid brave, I know
just don't see the need to fight about definitions

@DaughterOfOmega do you have a POE that you are likely going to vote within today?
- scum reads?
- slightly tunneled?
- being obnoxious/posting a lot about his reads?
Happy to keep Seanzie around for now.

I understand the rules, yes. I didn't say you were being afk without showing up forever. In fact, in the setup post it says the GM would reach out to you before replacement:DaughterOfOmega wrote: βWed Mar 08, 2023 8:04 amIf you afk without showing up forever you can get replaced. Having played one game with fingersplints where I sussed her based on activity and vigged her and was very wrong, I'm not inclined to read into that low post count.
But I do have curiosities about DaughterOfOmega's need to post like 3 times D1 and then announce their departure.

So I'm making a very specific point. You were barely active despite this game having a N0, made a note about how you were going to be active in the future, and dipped. That's slightly scummy imo.

I read CRichard's iso to contextualize the tone of this post because I also didn't like this post. I think they just talk like this (in this game). But I agree it seems off.DaughterOfOmega wrote: βWed Mar 08, 2023 9:29 amThis post just bothers me. It comes off as TMI because nobody is even pushing me for death. Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
In my opinion:
Town Neon maxes out her posts. Scum Neon saves them (and imo in general posts more carefully). I'm really getting town Neon vibes here. Really. I'm serious.
I understand this is effectively me claiming that D1 was TvTvT (since I'm town and so was Bereft, may B rest in P). It's past my bedtime so I don't have time to really analyze the implications of that world view, gonna focus on catching up so that the morning is less miserable.

I don't care about Scrappy atm although reading Scrappy's ISO makes me continue to sideye Chihiro for claiming that Scrappy was ever townsiding
Scrappy opened by claiming they were town, then moving to "I'm town alignment", then "I can help town", then what I perceived as sarcasm about "if you vote for me I'll be forced to wolfside!!!1!"
Maybe Chihiro just overfocused on how people reacted to Scrappy instead of what Scrappy did to make people react that way
sticking on Chihiro
we do agree on this though, I'm not voting Scrappy D1, would rather hunt 100% scum than scum-lite

ISO = Isolation, e.g. reading someone's posts in isolation from the thread
if you open this link and click the number under replies, you get a menu that will open an ISO for each person that's commented in the thread, including mods
viewforum.php?f=273
VC = vote count
@lucy you and JDizz seemed to know each other, what site is he from / how did you recruit him here to play on TS?

@JDizz10 A reasonable answer is "I have not read the thread". Feel free to admit that, we're not yet halfway into D1 after all. I wouldn't hold it against you.
And it would explain why you did not see this post, from me, TO JACK, THE PERSON YOU ARE QUESTIONING FOR TOWN READING ME

Holy Christ Almighty how in the world do you read this thread and still think that I was the one confused about locations.JDizz10 wrote: βTue Mar 07, 2023 5:58 pmWe have not played together before, no. This is doubting my town read on you if i'm being perfectly honest. I agree with whoever mentioned that role PMs and win cons and things are a terrible kinda scummy way to play, but in this case it works and if they really didn't know that it seems pretty plausible that he is mafia. Now may I please ask you to explain why you don't think pyxxy is mafia?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: βTue Mar 07, 2023 4:35 pm

@lucy @Jackofhearts2005 thoughts on this logic and thoughts on chihiro and/or pyxxy as potential mafia?
Also....why are you pinging me specifically for this? We haven't played together before, have we?

Part of why I cared so much about locations is because mine _is_ quite interesting. So I think I just assumed that everybody's power up must be interesting.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
kinda wanted to vote Dennis to help Seanzie get into his town mindset but also not sure how Dennis would feel about me scumleaning him uwu
giving Dennis another day, I don't mean this in a mean way Dennis! it's only been like 16 hours or w/e this is more "don't worry about more pressure and just do you town thing, friend"
Wilgy already explaining that he's playing a different style feels odd
where's Jack?

That's all.Roxy wrote: βTue Mar 07, 2023 11:53 am pyxxy - I read EVERYTHING in every game I play which is why I often bitch about people not using the OT button when they are posting off topic. Or like Seanzie make time wasting posts of one letter at a time which I am sure he finds cute but I find it time wasting, time that could be better spent looking for baddies. I do not find you particularly susp. I feel you are trying but the way you approached N 0 poll gave me pause. I am keeping that as a ping for now but my eyebrow will be waiting to be twitched again. I obv read your N 0 post about your short list and your reasons behind it as I responded to/talked about it. Not sure why you want to make it seem like I am not reading....
I'm partially to blame because I wanted to withhold how I came to my conclusions for N0, under the assumption that mafia would be lazy and not bother with trying to push town towards a bad location, but rather just silently vote as a group.
My source for the locations:
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/List_ ... !_episodes
In making this list, I also created a list of locations -> culprits -> likely roles, but for obviously Soup reasons I will not be posting that.
Hopefully me posting this helps explain how I got to my list in the first place.
My short list remains in effect for N1, btw, just now without Airfield:
- Bank
- County Museum
- Funland
- Oceanland
- Theater
- Tibetan Temple
- Tropical Village
- University Archeological Wing
For now, I plan to vote Funland N1, because 1) of the negative reaction to me pushing Oceanland and 2) because hey why not work through the list alphabetically? Definitely not suspicious on my part
In reality my confidence is this list is probably ordered more like this, starting with most confident to be a hit aka location that powers up one of town:
- Funland/Oceanland
- University Archeological Wing
- Tibetan Temple
- Tropical Village
- Bank/Theater/County Museum
Still like 95% confident that these are all hits though.
