What's linki? Sorry for the million questions but I need to know.Golden wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 9:21 pmYes this and what came before it. I don’t see much difference between this and the rest of Lucy, tbh. Her interactions with Dennis and Jack as mafia behaviour would also work more for me as buddying than hyperfocus. I think she’s been interacting with what’s in front of her.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 9:17 pmThis?Golden wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 3:12 pmI think I started pretty good and if anything might have gotten worse lol.lucy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 3:00 pmdo you think having studied arguments and rhetoric for your entire adult life has made you better at mafia? I noticed you just had a sick win in game 1 as mafiaGolden wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 2:55 pmI use the gillick competency test.
(I’m a lawyer in child protection and gillick competency is how we assess whether a child is mature enough to make their own decisions so this is technically accurate.)
Or, if you want a more serious answer, I definitely don’t draw that line based on age, but if I did it would have to be somewhere older than me.
But I don’t think it’s my arguments and rhetoric that have made me good at mafia. I think it’s my ability to understand how people think. I can often see the motivations behind a post. Reads are more important arguments. I won that game because I had good reads on who I needed to kill and who would vote with me at lylo.
I didn’t view this that way, but I guess it could be read that way. Not by me, lol, but by some. I view this more as drawing you out, maybe a bit of buddying, but it’s a fine line.

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 1]
My thoughts exactly. You say it's random voting stage until then as if it's only possible it's us 3.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 8:33 pmBut there are 13 other people playing, not just Kate and her kids. Are you concentrating on them only?lucy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 8:22 pmno other content lol, I reckon they will all have good reads on one another by virtue of birth, and if I poke enough I can just tell if there's a mafia between the 3, and if there is then I start the actual fun. until then it's literally just random voting stage, is it not?

That doesn't answer my question.Scotty wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 7:12 pmJust because I’m not looking to vote you today doesn’t mean I’m going to ignore you.Dennis wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 6:04 pmGolden, a little bit. I feel like he's been a bit too go with the flow, if that makes sense. Starting a train for a weak reason, and not defending himself is a little weird but it could be the way he plays.
I want to know why you're on my case so much. You've asked me questions at almost every opportunity you get, but said you don't wanna kill a new player D1. So, why is it that you're asking me so many questions?
Would you prefer a back rub?

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 1]
One more thought--it's not because we're family. None of us would let that get in the way. For example, I wouldn't sacrifice anybody on my first mafia game, that would throw the entire game. I can respect the your 'wolf in sheep's clothing' call--I would probably do the same. Trying not to rely on being new too much.Scotty wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 10:11 amGot it.
You’re giving me Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2 vibes here. Giving the impression that you are an innocent and lost lamb but in reality just might be a devious killer in disguise.
You might be. Or you might not be. I’m just pocketing that thought for now.
Thanks for answering!

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 1]
What does 'NAI' stand for? Would rather know all the acronyms now than move on guessing.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 7:31 amI am not one of these people, but I do have an opinion.
I think if Kate were on a team with one of her sons, she would try to help him in thread via the chat room, but if he got called out, she would bus him. I don't see her making cases on either of them, regardless of her alignment. But I could be wrong there. Especially if Kate is civ. She might know best the difference between an awkward nub mistake, and a "Shit, I shouldn't have said that", baddie slip.
I thought the "ha ha" circling between Kate and Dennis on Zero was what I would expect and was NAI for me. I have no idea what Jack or Dennis would do.
Having read back, the thing that sticks out most for me is walking into a thread where someone has two votes; one for a reasonable reason (that I am not sure I see as AI, but I don't know Seanzie; perhaps him saying what he did is a baddie thing), and one because "Imma sheep Scotty".
So I'm dropping a first vote on Golden. That seems a flippant reason to start a train. Not a fan. [VOTE: Golden] aubergine
This is pretty much my pattern on work days, a flurry when I get up (sorry for back to back posts, but it's gonna happen daily) then I may or may not be around depending on how work goes until 6ish eastern.

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 1]
Jack wouldn't be able to think of a way to sacrifice us, Kate would do it without either of us noticing, and I would sacrifice Jack but not Kate; I would need her help. I would also totally be willing to take the fall for victory.
