As I said earlier when Epi cased me, I don't have a counterargument for my interactions with the Arbiters. I obviously had interactions with and pinged them to get their thoughts, and in fact you would see even more of me pinging Lemonfairy in the East thread (because she kept dumping her readlist and then disappearing almost immediately after). I will not deny that I'd ping a partner to engage with me in the thread if I felt like it.

What I can say, though, is that my play leading up to today doesn't line up with the optimal wolf strategy in my position. I'm the only one left in East thread, mechanical balance is very obviously pointing against me, and the only player who believed we should completely disregard the number of wolves per Facility died last night, which would've had to have been my kill if I'm the last wolf. Additionally it would've been in my interest to leave Davos alive until endgame if I thought it didn't actually pose a threat but wanted an easy cop-out, and/or to leave Wilgy alive (who was very obviously the landlord from my pov) and team up with him on yeeting someone in the West yesterday in the hopes I could instead get Wilgy yeeted today — because everyone thought Wilgy was more likely to flip wolf than I was.

Of course all of what I say here is up to anyone to decide if they believe it, because I can't prove whether I would've done these things or not. But I've been aware that I've been in the PoE for days, and i tried to clear my slot so that the rest of you could solve around it and remember my legacy by unvoting at the end of the day when Davos ended up flipping.

At what point do you consider things endgame, Davos died right before Wilgy ?_? eh

I raised the point of 'why are you offering to die' earlier on in the game because I think a wolf does need to show that kind of nonchalance around dying especially when being corner in by POE.

Epi also trusted both of you, and had been far more engaged than I was. He would've done far better here than what I think I'm doing now. That's part of what I attribute his kill to, rather than his views on things. Because he townread both of you and wouldve had a blank slate here regardless.

That game.. did kinda give me the idea that they can. I guess it comes down to this:
- Mech speculation: I've mentioned it already, the split feels very even and it makes very little sense to punish the Arbiters for the Landlords having more to them. The rest of the split has been bang on even; one puppet per thread, one ITP per thread, and other numbers have evened up - 2 landlords each side (+ puppet.) I dont see the Arbiters not following this pattern because the split of town/wolves in general was always going to be uneven, but having a significantly worse distribution for one team compared to the other is pretty rough. I feel like the idea that Lemon had been alone should have been floated by now if that was the reality of it, but rereading early game with people talking about the push on Lemon, I.. dont think their play in the other facility sounds like a solo wolf? Obviously I cant confirm that since thread split but as an add-on.

- Approach over the game: Looking at both your interactions with flipped Arbiters, it feels very polar opposites. With WWA, early game whenever addressing an arbiter specifically, they would ping and try to level with them, same isnt really seen for anyone else. They're kinda on and off with pushing them, and with Lemon and talking about them later game, the idea that Lemon was on their own is only really brought up when they're prodded to do so. With Leetic, they're beating down Falcon from the word go, voting him even on the first page and throwing pressure onto him the day he died, while also showing a lot of distaste for Abi's bus on Pyxxy once she flipped. I dont think Leetic fits the role of final wolf when, for them to be final wolf, they have kinda fought their own team unnecessarily, compared to WWA who seemed to give opportunities to engage with their team and build interactions with them.

So while I am terrified of doing this, I think

Lemon wagoners probably not worth pursuing. And, in just two lines, there's nothing good looking left in there. Hmm. That is similar to WWA unvoting in the crossvote earlier this phase. If WWA is a wolf, they've definitely taken some risks to get this far. Although in this case, WWA could have just thought they'd have a better shot of surviving a crossvote with Delta than with me and knew they could always put their vote back anyway with little risk, but it is still worth keeping in mind.

I think the approach both of you have taken is part of why I'm leaning WWA as well, weirdly enough

I've said coming into today I think mech points to WWA being mafia, and both of you unvoted after I did

I can understand whichever of you is wolf playing it safe, but I do also think in your position, you either double down on voting WWA or you jump ship and push me. You dont really need to take a step back I guess?

leaning wind on the basis of the idea of lemon being alone never really being a topic until now, when I feel like it probably shouldve been if true. plus the whole 1:3 split for arbiters feels punishing, moreso than maybe what it should be considering landlords were the one with an additional head in the game, if you'd count davos as that.

Well, if you're counting Davos then the split is gonna be uneven regardless.

It would either be 3 landlords + 1 arbiter in East and 2 landlords + 3 arbiter in West
Or 3 landlords + 2 arbiters in East and 2 landlords + 2 arbiters in West
So either way, counting Davos, one side has 5 wolves and the other has 4. And of course you can argue that only one arbiter on the East side is kinda poopy, I can't really prove to you how alone Lemonfairy felt in the East thread because I can't quote and also I'm the only one still alive from East, so of course you're not obligated to believe anything I say about it, either. I pushed Lemon harder in the East thread. Everyone did, actually. I thought she'd maybe even flip at some point, but her wagon always built up kind of early and then someone else's surpassed it and the interest in her wagon waned. She wasn't super active in the East Facility, said she was busy irl, and she kept posting these strangely stagnant readlists that a lot of us commented on. At some point her wagon was at 3 or 4 votes, iirc, probably Nanook, Nutella and me. And I think Davos voted her, too. She did reply directly to questions to her, but she wasn't super interactive with anyone because she was in the thread in short spurts.

I do think the landlords having Davos in East explains why they were fine with bussing Brad, but the arbiters seem to have had the exact opposite tactic in West since none of them flipped there (falcon didn't flip until the threads were merged), but it seems like it's served them well. They probably didn't count on Ricochet and Lemon flipping when they did, so attitude shift is something to look into. Leetic did already pointed out that my postcount hiked up around that time, which I'm sure is true, because of my travel schedule xD

If it was just Wilgy in this thread & more Landlords over in ours, it would make more sense. I dont see the Arbiters being punished for Landlords having more players on one side, because they still had a more even split of 2:3. 1:3 with one wolf being the only way that team sees the thread.. doesnt feel all too feasible.

I hope that makes sense? I dont want to lean on unconfirmed mech too heavily but in my mind.. it feels like the Arbiters were on the backfoot as is out of the two teams if they had 1 less player (technically), I dont see them then being further punished for it by splitting them 1:3

Yeah cause tbh I was hoping you'd just clear yourself that way if you're town and make things easier
But probably if you'd cleared yourself as town you would be dead anyway, so I guess it didn't matter much
