Bartley be coastin' along, sayin' nothin' o' real value. He swore to get more involved, but we ain't seen hide n'r hair o' that. [VOTE: Bartley] aubergine

I'll try t'remember ta check in closer t'the deadline. Yar, I know this vote be weak.

I will be needin to take actual notes to keep track of this n that, so I do be shall return.
Arrr, Onyx, ye be makin' yer second pledge here now, and I be expectin' ye to carry yer load with that lofty assurance ye be tossin' about. At least Bartley and Davos be not raisin' me hopes in vain.
Yeah, I'm trying, but every time I try to read this game my brain doesn't engage with it. I work with accrued knowledge of who players are and how they play and not only is that entirely missing here, but for some reason the pirate talk is completely blocking me. What would really fucking help would be if someone could give me a non-pirate talk synopsis of the main cases and I could try to investigate them specifically. The flow of this game is just not working with my head. And I hate how "do my work for me" that sounds but it is the only way I'm going to get anywhere.
I can summarize action. It is day 3—there has only been 1 night. 4 people are dead. 2 lynched civs and 1 nj annd 1 unknown. Did I miss anyone?

We can’t vote bird today, and I don’t think I’m alone in sussing them.
Arr, can you explain yer position on yon Bird in greater detail, matey?

Re: So ye wants to be a Pirate?

ARR, hold on, let me get me Pirate-English Translater, n'I'll parley with ye forthrightly, Seaman Onyx!

<<machine powers on>>

Ah. Excellent, so the main push on the previous Day would be the Bird-Jet case. You see, Bird switched their vote from Jet at the last minute. That vote would have ensured Jet's doom, but instead Jet was tied with Errol, and Errol, who was Town, ended up on the chopping block.

Bird was the target of suspicion for this act. Speaking just for myself, I reasoned that Bird had more than twice as many posts as Jet, and it was not incriminating to Bird if Jet wasn't bad. So I voted Jet, so did others, I assume for the same reasons but there are probably variations.

Other than that, not a WHOLE LOT of accusations getting thrown? Ronan voted for you, and without rereading it I think he's not sure if your absence is entirely site-problem-related, and... darn, I just had it but it's gone. Full disclosure, I at a 50mg Gummy about half an hour ago, and this is getting harder. Better wrap it up.

All in all, I said I need to read back, I haven't yet, I'll try to articulate suspicions in a hearty n' rum-soaked manner, t'be sure! Some swabs be surely hidin' below de-- hold on... arr, the blasted machine went n' walked the plank! 'Pologies, Seaman Onyx, fer the brevity o' me explanations.

Well, er, Jet be no longer on the poll?

Re: So ye wants to be a Pirate?

Yar. Be that a true tale? Me heart goes out t'ye, I shouldn'a voted fer Sand, ach, filthy stuff!

So Bird be safe from elimination, just when me suspicion level has gone below deck. Knowin' now that Jet was innocent, Bird's behaviour becomes somethin' I find more akin t'the townsfolk of this fair land. Why would a villain stick their neck out, takin' it upon themselves t'decide the vote, when their vote were already on an innocent?

I see Ronan has cast 'is vote fer Onyx. Could be a good choice, I'll need to read back n' get a fresh perspective.

I been thinkin'. Gonna change me vote to [VOTE: jet] aubergine, as Bird is much more of a participatory nature, and if Jet be not bad, then there be no case on Bird.

Re: So ye wants to be a Pirate?

Arrrr, may Davy Jones settle yer soul, Gold! Do we not find Gold's true name 'pon death?

Bird was th'one what changed up ther vote at th'last minute, saving Jet from walkin' tha plank, so me good eye falls squarely 'pon Bird as a scallywag.

Is that valuable logic tho? Who's more seemingly guilty, the saver or th'one saved? A teammate might hold their vote t'get false esteem when their partner sinks below the waves, knowin' (as they do) that the last-second switch might well bring condemnation 'pon their soul.

Worth a thought. Still, this pirate shall [VOTE: bird] aubergine fer the sin of condemning an innocent man by their own intention.

Argh, the town's protector? 'Tis strange tho... my thoughts were that yon poll ended up wit' Jet havin' the greatest number of votes? Perhaps somethin' happened below decks, if ye get my meanin'... yarr, or some last-second, unannounced vote trickery?

I've been wonderin', do ye still harbor suspicions 'bout Iggy, given that they be actively makin' reads and standin' out from the rest of us pirates? It might be worth hearin' what ye have to say, for it's a sea of uncertainty out here, and every perspective be valuable in navigatin' these treacherous waters.
Aye. The suspicions remain. There be more meat on the table now, to be sure, and I have switched me vote to Jet, fer the crime o' not knowin' who did what and when, fer the most important thing, the vote!

Errol also looks not great fer failing t'even return and discuss before the Day were done.

I'll stick with Jet, n' perhaps a guilty verdict'll reflect upon 'is captain as well.

'Tis but a PREgame that we be parlayin' in!
Iggy wrote: Thu Sep 14, 2023 6:01 pm I hear sometimes that quitting the grog makes a pirate act a bit mad for a time. Perhaps that is what has befallen poor Ronan, who first makes flowery, soothing, speech to me, then in their ver' next post, calls me a landlubber and claims I besmirched their character, which I did not. Mayhaps someone should slip ol' Ronan a bit o'rum while no one is lookin.

I dinna see why someone only pretending to be a pirate, or whoever we're tryin ta ferret out, would draw attention to themself in this way, so perhaps Ronan just likes lecturin people and talking a lot, kinda like my Parrot Mad Martha :partyparrot:
So... what ye be sayin' is that ye find Ronan's behavior suspicious... but it's wrapped up'n tha alcohol joke, so no biggie?... but ye don't see why a villain would act suspicious since, eh, villains tend not t'act suspicious, so... and then ye cap it off with a fun n' funny distraction!

I tend t'find such things worth my one good eye's closer scrut'ny. But t'is the pregame, so what can a sailor really get done b'fore noon? Maybe ye're all right! Mayhap my crew won't hafta make ya walk the plank! :pirate:
