The next villain is no joke.

Found a lot to agree with. I had never heard of The Dollmaker myself. I loved the expression "digging around in the toy box."

What do you think of the setting? Gotham City has gone through numerous changes in each incarnation, from the Cali-style of the 60s, to the Gothic nature of Burton's films, to the burlesque nature of Schumacher's films, to the gritty realism of Nolan, and now this?

I see Gotham as something of a melding of Nolan and Schumacher, setting wise. Thoughts?

I also liked the stills. This just keeps improving. One thing I wonder though, is why your reviews include recaps. When I read a review for a film, for example, I wouldn't expect a full recap of the program. It seems like your approach is more analysis than review (which I prefer since I'm already invested in the show). Maybe I'm just being pedantic. By the way, I love your shirts.

And good Lord, I never imagined I would find The Penguin to be the most compelling character.

Yeah I agree with that :P

The thing is my webcam makes me nervous because its very hard to focus. And the way my desk/mic is set up sometimes I'll make a hand gesture and bump the table and wreck the audio :P As these things continue and continue I think I'll get more comfortable and animated.

To offer a counterpoint, knowing your format, I like turning on your video and then being able to continue my work. I get the audio but don't have to worry about missing something visual.

I am absolutely off the wall excited to see him in the role.

I just think the guy is crazy talented and versatile even though he doesn't get much mainstream praise. I remember watching Grounded for Life. I loved that show, and he was funny. But he also played Dan Scott in The Patriot, and even though he had only a few lines, you could sense the almost spiritual change his character went through.

Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock is going to be win.

We watched your inaugural episode. We do not watch much television, but based on your description, we shall be watching Gotham.
