In fact, I don't think I've ever been on a mafia team that's nightkilled Epignosis. :ponder: Gonna have to change that habit before I get caught.

Yippee! I did not think Mafia would kill their own, so that was a surprise. I still thought in the back of my mind that either Epi or ika was the other baddie, but knew Mm was the safer bet.

When he hinted at surviving his lynch, he tipped his hand to me because that was my role. So thanks for that, Mm. I also wasn't worried about being blackmailed because for some reason I thought you could only blackmail someone with a night power. But eh, worked out in the end.

That was a stressful game. I couldn't understand llama's reads. I think in the end I would have believed Wilgy checked Epi and found BTSC and determined that it was civ BTSC. Sorry for suspecting you almost all game, Epi. I thank all the peeps that backed you up and made me question my own mortality.

Good game civs, and good try baddies. Thanks for the game, Elo! I like this winning thing.

I also didn't realize that Epignosis could choose his target's new targets. I had to be careful on the last phase about Lorab, because I figured out Illy was silenced around halfway through the day, and there was no way Lorab would have targeted Illy on her own. I knew Epignosis had to have redirected Lorab's action, but I thought it had randomly gone to Illy.
Well, I was directing actions left and right early on, but I was doing so thinking I could direct the kill. I learned midway that I could not redirect kills...so I was worried I had been squandering my action.

What would be the worst thing that could happen?
I'll let you know if it happens. ;)
Speak.
It didn't happen.

That would be you being lynched . I think that would have been the worst outcome.
That isn't how I interpreted this. I interpreted this as an indication that the lynch would be stopped. If you were Joseph Molesley, however, you would not have a reason to fear being blackmailed, as a lynch survival is not a Night action. That could mean you were Dr. Clarkson, able to stop the lynch, and that retaining possession of your night action was paramount, since you would want to bring back Black Rock and not Sorsha.

That would be the worst thing that could happen.

To add to it, you asked this:
Metalmarsh89 wrote:Epignosis, do you think the Doctor is still alive? The role not the player.
If you are Clarkson, you can stop this lynch. If you are not Clarkson then you are naughty and must be punished. :nicenod:

That's good right now!

Something we need to figure out assuming SVS doesn't get Bullz lynched today...

Do we kill SVS or not?

I'm not sure which looks better, tbh. I'm leaning on letting her live.

She might even question her own instincts if we let her live.
I was thinking about that, as I said earlier. But I do think killing her is our best option:

If we kill Epi, who is our current knight in shining armor, Wilgy and SVS- who have current doubts (even though Wilgy hasn't voted Bullz yet)- could just lynch Bullz and we will prolly lose. Plus to the lay observer, mafia killing one of the 2 most non-civ players throughout the game is a glaringly obvious strategy that these guys might pick up on.

If we kill SVS, then at least Wilgy can continue being a Doubting Dennis, and we still have a chance with Epi clearing us. It could look like framing being done for Bullz, and I think we would still have a chance to make it out.

Or. Epi could just wise up after his main target, nutella, is found to be civ, and vote Bullz.

Now if SVS comes back with some high falootin theory abou your badness, it might be a good idea to keep her around because of her penchant to suspect you. I don't know what concrete evidence she can come back with that counteract Epi's brilliant ISO on you. With a steady stream of suspicion coming from SVS it will give you more cred for the Mafia not killing you. the question is will anyone buy it?

Only we know that the civs will be out of power roles. If we don't put a kill in, and I come out saying that I blocked Matt/Bullz....game set and match. No one will want to kill me until I don't die 2 nights in a row after that and they catch on to my lie?

And Scotty I've been suspish of for a while. Claiming to have a non-power role in a game where there is no such thing doesn't help my feelings on him.
When ika and I were bad, we flipped out on each other in BTSC. I don't recall him having a meltdown in the thread. The biggest point against him is the Silverwolf kill, but in the last game, he tried to pin it on a teammate. ika hasn't tried to bus anybody so far (i.e., his accusations have all been civilian, if you count me).

Mrs. Pattmore silencing me means I'm bad.
Mrs Hughes and BTSC mate removing Epi from the poll means he's good.

These people only know what they are, and can suspect based on unproven variables. It doesn't clear anyone.
And being forthcoming doesn't clear you.

You don't think trying to work out those whom you should not lynch isn't a smart thing to do?

What about ika? I know you're trusting of Illyria, but why is she still alive?
She's still alive because nobody has tried to kill her.

Why is anybody still alive? Why are you?
Why is that, though? Like, no one has suspected her like they suspected the rest of us. Most of the game.

Of course, whoever is killing has a very weird way of going about the killings on the surface, so who knows.
Uh...

Illyria
4
Matt (3), ika (14), Long Con (16), Sorsha (17)
22%

You've taken two votes the entire time- one from Lorab and one from thellama73. Plus Matt had been itching to lynch Illyria.

Obvi Epi is off the table today, but that does not clear him. If he is civ, then there's a more than half chance we'll find one of two baddies. Which I guess makes me feel better.

Also wtf ika. Don't vote yourself if you are good.
Some civs have suspicions. Some civs have ideas. But some civs also have BTSC. :shrug2:
Ok. This still doesn't clear him. It just means there could be an echo chamber in civ BTSC. 'do you like Kesha?' 'I love Kesha' 'hahaha me too, good talk. Everyone must love Kesha.'
What does clear a person, in your estimation?

Listen to those doubts. They speak the truth.
Well, help me out: Who would you lynch right now and why?

It smells like either ika is content with town losing and is civ or is content with town losing and is mafia
Thanks for covering the gamut of possibilities. :suspish:

Ow, that hurts.
It should, because I'm going to start from the premise that you and Scotty are Thomas and James and go from there.

What did I misrepresent, ika? You don't really say anything to represent or misrepresent.
