Good players get shit going Day 1. They don't sit back and protest Day 1. If you are good, Day 1 is a blessing, not a curse. It means the civilians get to have the first crack. Use it.

Well players are becoming much more vocal for me to get thrown off the wall to the titans so I had to do something. I logged in yesterday, saw there was a lot of time left, and logged out.

How is that useful? How is that good stewardship of the time you have to find mafia if you are good? If you are good, then what is your plan to find mafia? Come in and vote at the last minute like so many do?

His response to my threat of voting Serge (which I may follow through on) was twofold:

First, he wanted to buy Serge more time, assuring me that Serge would be replaced.
Second, he prioritizes content over the lynch when content will exist regardless of the lynch. Ironically, he wants to salvage a person who is providing no content.

I propose that leetic and Serge are evil.

It makes it easier to read people if one person is confirmed town. Furthermore, Serge is for all purposes a random dart throw since he has no game related posts and nothing to go off of. But we should drop this discussion, since we're only wasting the day phase and that's the very thing I want to prevent.

There's some fluff conversation between sig and wilgy early on. MP pushes ika (Epi) to elaborated more on his reads, which I like to see. I didn't see his retaliation as suspicious either. He does say that there's no reason to be throwing out reads, although i can think of about 10 reasons why throwing out reads is a good thing. Interesting meaning, it's definitely indicative of an alignment, but I have no idea which one. I don't really interpret what rabbit and insertnamehere have said up to that point as expressing a read, personally. Irregardless, I'll definitely be comparing this degree of helpfulness against his further actions and i recommend others do so as well. Right now, i'd say that I think MP cares too much about preserving townies to be bad though.

ika himself was a bit of a flipflop while he was here. I personally can't get on board with straight gut reads that aren't backed up by some form of evidence, because i can't differentiate it from a baddie throwing a name in the air and hoping it sticks and a casually playing townie. Either way, he runs with the 'discredit' argument pretty quickly which reflects on my perception of epi right now. He used the 'silver is the only person who understands my game' argument, which I don't like either. Without sparking up this whole argument again, I'll just say that I think this is nonsensical, considering ika has been here about as long as I have and has most definitely played more games. We've all gotten used to his play style and meta by now and I'm sure he knows that. Of course, I don't want to put a vote on Epi just because of how I've perceived ika, because he's got no counter argument and ika can't defend himself now. I'd rather wait and see what I think of Epi's contributions first, or it'd be ironic and unfair on him since the exact same thing could happen to me since I replaced Silver.

If you want to reset the poll, add a second host / dead / non option. That will do the trick without changing the time.

Nope, no worries, I'm still training the OTT guys on opening and closing forums and other things; usually I've always done them. When a forum is re-opened, registered users need to be given very specific permissions rather than one of the preset groups, so that's what sometimes causes these discrepancies when certain check boxes are overlooked. It's why I hate permissions.
