There's four hours left.

The problem is you claim people are this role or that role. There's only one role checker left in the game, and I don't think it's Turnip Head.

I am surprised you haven't gunned for a low participator, which might have been a reasonable thing to do. Instead, you're operating under the assumption that TH missed his kill (whether accidentally or on purpose). The missed kill is the key reason I am cautious about voting for you.

During your time, however, you've chosen to fling kitty litter all over the place!
No one believes me and I don't have enough to votes to save myself. I'mnot going for a low poster and being anything but myself like I have the whole game. Going for a low poster is something a bad guy would do as an easy way out. I' m true in myself and feel you two are both bad. Without my color able to help me, I am now defenseless against 8 votes and it is sad people like Zeek and Lorab just go with me that haven't been as active and punish me by me leaving and playing hard solo. I just dont see how people will help me get enough on you or TH to stay in 4 hours when most stop just to vote me then go. It's frustrating.
It isn't what a bad guy would do. There's a legitimate reason for pursuing a person who hasn't been around. You were the first person to address it!

Here, you say I'm a utility:
Boogs wrote:Not sure about the Made thing, however I still feel Epignosis giving like half of his starting money on the auction so easily means he isn't worried about money because he has teammates or has some money from people landing on him that was a lot already like Electric Company. Here, you say I'm LMS:
Boogs wrote:Yay no death! Hoping that is from them missing their PMs!
So seeing Epignosis landed on red which clearly has houses, it's safe now I think to pretty much say he and LC are Red properties since he didn't die from paying so much after bidding and winning so much stuff already. Problem is, we are coming around Go and have to touch that in the next 1-3 nights. We have to get the baddies basically perfect now lol.
So Turnip Head? Thoughts?
Here, you say I'm a railroad:
Boogs wrote:He's wrong about me, and I am not bad. Whats he's doing is trying to pin me as a Utility and gain cred with you guys. I'm not on either bad team. I know I keep switching what I think, but every time I think something it's opposite and frustrating. I thought Maybe Epigosis was part of the LC team with those houses, but I honestly think he's the 3rd railroad trying to gain cred. The only problem is killing me today will show me as Civ and blow his plan out of the water. I'm okay voting Epignosis today assuming he's a Railroad as I do, or TH assuming he's Water Works, which I do. I think Epignosis honestly does think I am a Utility and is hoping he's right to also try to get his team to get more kills possibly. If that was your plan Epignosis, then vote TH who is the real Water Works.
Now, as much as I love a boo game, and I do, I can assure you that I didn't get three different roles. I got one, and it is a color. I have been level-headed and transparent in my thinking regarding you, and I have been fair, acknowledging points that indicate innocence on your part. I have not voted for you (yet).

I am not framing you.

That wouldn't matter. If Epi is not in the red group, he wouldn't have to pay out of pocket if there aren't hotels.
Houses don't charge? (Looks at the board movements) Apparently "the bank" paid him. Is this right then?
That is correct. Any rent will show up normally, regardless of the owner, so as to not out properties for anyone.

And also any rent is collected from the bank rather than the player, unless there is a hotel on the property.

Regarding the repeated accusation of profligate spending, I don't throw around money. I use it. Like I think people vulnerable to be Night killed should do. I am aware of the most I could lose on a board with no hotels in the span of two turns. I miscalculated at one point, but I took action to correct that.
Why would you consider yourself vulnerable to NK's as opposed to other players? I think this speaks volumes of where you are in this game right now, and also where your team is. You say that like you have something to lose.
Eh?

I did not say I was more vulnerable to a Night kill than anyone else. That's reading something into my words that isn't there. I said "people vulnerable to be Night killed" (i.e., civilians). My thinking is that civilians should use their money to procure advantages in the early stages of the game. Many people don't agree with that, and I probably would have gotten lynched Day 1 if Made hadn't goofed.

Yes.
I think this means that Water Works is an inactive player who didn't send in a kill.
This is the only thing that stays my hand. I'm of two minds about it:

An inactive person (and there are a few) fits well.

However, this could be WW playing the long game. Miss a kill on purpose to set up quiet people. And I've been thinking about this post in particular with that context in mind:
Boogs wrote:Yay no death! Hoping that is from them missing their PMs!

The enlarged has bugged me since I first saw it. Why was Boogs hoping it was from a missing PM? Strange thing to interject, and Boogs doesn't elaborate or follow up on his comment. Instead, he pursued his (swiftly debunked) theory that I'm a red (and LC's my teammate), and now he's sure I'm a train.

So I'm torn.

To provide a little more insight: juliets landed on Water Works. I found it interesting that Boogs called her a civilian when at a moment's notice any civilian could convert to LMS. He cites having Mafia BTSC with her in one previous game as his reasoning. That's not the same reasoning he's judging everybody else with. He has been after me for my financial activities and for people winning prizes. Therefore, I find it unusual that Boogs gives a vague, "I don't see the same behavior" response (what behavior?).

That said, I wasn't expecting juliets to react the way she did.

I have said it multiple times in multiple games: When there is more than one Mafia, there is no such thing as civilian credit. In this game, there is more than one Mafia, and multiple LMS groups. I am not trying to gain "cred" with anyone. It doesn't exist. You have accused me of damn near everything in this game when it suits you.

Now your wording here is interesting: "Whats he's doing is trying to pin me as a Utility and gain cred with you guys." How does me pinning you as a Utility gain credit with anyone if you get lynched and are shown not to be Utility? Even in a single Mafia game, that's not how civilian credit works.
Boogs wrote:I'm okay voting Epignosis today assuming he's a Railroad as I do, or TH assuming he's Water Works, which I do.
No conviction in any of this. "Assuming he's a Railroad as I do" (hours ago I was a red property with houses). You're okay voting for TH "assuming he's Water Works." That's mighty brave of you Boogs, voting for someone assuming he is this role or that.
Boogs wrote:Honestly, I have read her Civ this game. Being btsc with her once now, i dont see the same behavior as i did in that game when she was bad with me.

HannaK wrote:@Epi I've probably just been reading too many posts after each other and I can't make sense of everything right now, but how does Boogs bidding patterns relate to him being bad? (I do like the rest of your case though)

Personally, I am beginning to get more worried about seeing these houses appear on the board + that there are already 2 LMS groups than the baddies as the baddies aren't doing so well during the night (+ getting lynched quite a lot) so I feel that as long as we are not sure about whether we are lynching a baddie, we should maybe direct our attention to members of LMS groups
At the least, it indicates to me a measure of disingenuousness. At the most, it shows a vested interest in securing a teammate's property (and being slick about it).

In fairness to Boogs on this point, however, consider this:
boo wrote:Anonymous offers for Electric Company have been requested. If you would like to put in an offer to buy the property, please PM me and I will pass it along.
There is also the possibility that Turnip Head is lying about winning the bid:
Turnip Head wrote:Because I asked Boo if I won and he told me somebody else already bid $10. For some reason I thought the bidding was at $6.

Yes, I did. However I didn't win Elctric Company and you lied you say you didn't. Then you try to make it seem like I was lying and I had some secret votes on it. Sorry but I had no way of gaining an extra 200+ even if it were true I had something secret. Nothing would have given me that. I was hoping to outbid people and that any BWT voters didn't want it so I could get a card and maybe learn roles and get my teammates finally with it.
When Boogs bid, DF and Lorab already had Boogs outbid.

Compare the above post to the enlarged below:
Boogs wrote:

Just saying, why wouldn't he have used it and have 2 chances to get the third piece tonight? Assumptions or facts is what you have to figure out. This game is different than a normal game and if you want to keep him around to let him get more strong and win more things along with his teammates winning to eliminate us, you be my guest. Me on the other hand, I don't trust him. Disagree if you want, but it's logical to vote him and people need to grow balls. FZ was lame and I went along to try to win extra money for the card. I'm confident in this one.
Boogs understood on Day 2 that he would have to vote for the lynched person in order to get the "extra money for the card" (his words). But with the birdwithteeth11 auction, he had not voted bwt.
Boogs wrote:
Turnip Head wrote:Hey Boogs, since you didn't vote for BWT, meaning you didn't get the $200 bonus applied to your bid... Why did you bid $10? Why didn't you bid $210? Your bid was meaningless unless you thought you could win.
S~V~S wrote:What does "friends in high places" mean?
my question exactly. There's no reason for Hedgie to be coy if she has a civ reason for surviving.
Again, i did NOT win the auction. Despite what you think, and where the hell did i get a secret auction vote? The theory makes no sense. I must have pulled it out of my kitty butt. And I bid hoping non BWT voters wouldnt want the properties. I planned on increasing it to try to win towards the end but didnt. I realized i still needed 200 to even outbid and it was useless again.
When did Boogs realize this? He understood well enough on Day 2.

The Day 3 poll ended at 12:14am EST. Boogs was around at 11:31 pm EST, so that would have been plenty of time for him switch to bwt if he wanted the "extra money for the card." The only person to vote after Boogs posted was TH, who switched his vote.

But Boogs still bid $10 for the Electric Company, knowing a measly $10 wouldn't cut it. He even asked boo about the $200 bonus in the same post as his bid, so it is obvious that Boogs was expecting bwt voters to have a bonus applied to their bids:
Boogs wrote:Wow! Awesome! :) I am weary of bidding for the card, but i suppose i will. $10 on Electric Company

Boo- I dont see the bonus for people voting BWT in the auction? Also, TH bid on something yet I see no powers up for bid. Confused.
This smells like the tuna fish bones of Boogs' leftover supper.

I have more to add (related to Boogs but unrelated to the bidding), but I have to go smell bus fumes for now.

The correct word is "you," not "yourself."

I'm so looking forward to taking you down on Day 5. Unless you're killing me. Then I'll look forward to my BTSC partner taking you down. :feb:

I would love to vote TH after the argument Llama showed, however with me not having time to keep up today, I will vote Hedge for a chance on her card.

Boo, are people allowed to publicize who they checked at night? Like, could I say "Yo Epig, I checked you last night and we didn't sync up, too bad!", for example?
For example indeed!

Long Con wrote:Blooper said no one can be thought of as trustworthy that early in the game, and so I brought up the two people who expressed trust in you as a point of interest. Maybe you can explain from your point of view how that translates into "I searched Epig night 1", but I don't get your angle here.

You responded by saying even Railroads can't vouch for each other due to lack of BTSC, but again, how is that "calling me out for implying I searched you"?

What I read in those posts and what you are saying happened in them are not even remotely the same thing.
"Calling you out" may be the wrong phrase. I don't mean that I found you suspicious for it. I mean that I "found you guilty of," if anything, dropping info by way of asking the host a question.

Does that make sense?

When did all this happen? I don't remember implying that, or being called out on it.

MovingPictures07.... I summon thee!!!!!
Yes, as an unhighly trained non-accountant I'm having a hard time seeing how Epi could purchase three houses, even if he has a high rent total. I haven't looked at LC yet.
It looks like there are two groups that have formed, so I guess Epi and LC could be in the house-less group, meaning there is another richer group somewhere.

Linki: I'll return the penny to hear your thoughts.
I wasn't suggesting that I was staying up because of this game (new idea for the next chapter in a book + bourbon), however, I will take back my cent.

First, I am not in BTSC with Long Con. He implied that he searched me Night 1, and I called him out on that. Maybe I do have big balls (you keep obsessing over that- trust me when I tell you that this makes driving a car very difficult  ).

Second, I'm not destitute, but I've made poor choices. I'll say that much. Fortunately, I've been able to fix one of those somewhat.

I am most suspicious of Boogs. I believe I have shown his connection with birdwithteeth. My second suspect is Hedgeowl, for surviving (sorry Hedge- I'm not buying what you're selling because there's no product on the shelf to sell).

My third is one I won't announce at this time.
