Re: The Syndicate 2014 Game of Champions: Suits and Sorcery

I'm glad no one takes me seriously anymore.

I'll be sending out roles here and there just so I don't have to do it in one sitting. If you already got your role, I won't send you another PM. If you have a role with BTSC or secrets, I will tell you who your teammates are and what your secrets are.

The game begins January 3rd. I haven't made up my mind about a time. I may just surprise everyone. Anyway, thank you for signing up, and I hope you have fun.

Donations gladly accepted.

If there is no objection (and the game is full), I can start a 48 hour Day 0 on New Years Day itself. Otherwise, the original plan was to begin the 3rd.

Re: The Syndicate 2014 Game of Champions: Suits and Sorcery

^Yep.

As I discussed with MP, anyone who wins a game this calendar year is eligible to participate in the 2014 GoC. However, the games that ended (or are ending) this month will have their themes most likely reflected in next year's game rather than this one.

Bioshock is one of the greatest video games ever.

I just bought System Shock 2, which is the spiritual predecessor to that game. I plan on playing it over Christmas break.

Re: The Syndicate 2014 Game of Champions: Suits and Sorcery

Sent.

I have no problem sending anyone who wants one a role PM now. It'll save me time later and I hate sending thirty PMs in a row. So I don't mind. Just say so. However:

First, I am asking that only those who know 99% (that 1% being God ripping you from the earth) that they are playing request an early role PM.

Second, if your role has any secrets associated with it, you won't learn those until the game begins.

Third, if you are on a team, you won't know who is on your team until the game begins.

Fourth- and this should go without saying- there is to be no discussing your role with anyone. Even coming in here to say, "WOW MY ROLE IS COOL!" or "MEH" is not allowed. I will be mean if this happens. :srsnod:

The roles are sweet, Epig. Totally loving your inclusions.

Also, I presume the number of players/roles is subject to however many players want to play, so it could theoretically end up being less or more than 30?
Thanks.

I do not want to run this with fewer than 30 roles, but I do not mind adding if it comes to that. There were 40 winners this year, so I'm counting on 75% of those people to sign up. :)
