I told them multiple times they should. They didn't take it until role secrets were revealed so we knew that we needed it.

That was an aspect of the game that I believe benefited the Sympathizers far more than the other players.

Of course it did. It's a double role check to help you decide a kill. Plus it doesn't matter if you have double votes against you- you win if dead.

I pushed it hard. Then she outed herself as unlynchable.

At that point, I decided pressing her was win-win-win for me. If she was Light or Misa, super. If she wasn't, I had someone to go after until Higuchi got his death note. If she was Near, maybe she would get Night killed.

My biggest concern was L dying and Near ending the game early without Higuchi being lynched. I was actually hoping Near would be Night killed. Unfortunately, both L and Near died at the same time. I also didn't think llama was L. I thought he was a Penber.

I didn't care about dying myself- that was true, true, true- as my win condition was largely luck.

Ironically, and is usually the case, I would probably have won if I had died Day 1.

I knew llama had not talked to you at that point in the game, nor would he bring you in under most circumstances. So I thought it was a worthy gamble.

And also it was much easier to guess your win conditions then it would be to try and pass as a detective.

How would Daisy know my role though? There were a few Yotsuba left alive.

But the fact that the Sympathizers went all game with so many events working in their favor, as well as the fact that boo sacrificed his own win con, among other factors, but most importantly the fact that the detectives could have won in the final hour convinces me otherwise. I just finally feel I came up with the most balance game I ever have, and I had my doubts before the game ran, and even while it was running, but the way it progressed and ended convinced me that the integrity was upheld.

I don't want you to be defensive. I think you had a wonderful, intricate game. I've said so many times to you in PM. And my purpose is to have fun- I did plenty of that.

However, my position that allied (or mostly allied) characters who are unlynchable or unkillable is the same: In Mafia, if you cannot get rid of a threat to your side (even if you know that threat is bad) either through lynching or killing, your game can easily become unbalanced in endgame situations. In chess, a pawn by itself may not be much, but play chess with someone who is using a pawn that cannot be removed from the board.

Most Kira group needed the detectives dead to win. My assertion was that the detectives were not going to win. Ryuk might as well want to kill detectives with Light. That's just my view though. I wasn't a detective (and never pretended to be one), so someone else might think differently.

That's not true at all, Light and Rem had conflicting win conditions, and Spacedaisy avoided suspicion the entire game, and the detectives still could have won on Day 12, easily.

If anything, the Sympathizer win conditions might have been more difficult.

She didn't avoid suspicion Day 1.

Bass needed to be lynched for the detectives (and me) to win. Several people expressed reservations about doing it because of real life. My point was that sympathy for real life shouldn't interfere with a game. Several people disagreed with me.

Big thanks to the host- second time he's introduced me to some aspect of pop culture I've found highly enjoyable. And I had a damn good time playing the most boring character in the series.

Ironically, I did the most "work" in this game than I have in any game, even though my win condition basically boiled down to luck.

He got BTSC with L, and didn't claim a role to get L to trust him, like most people who get BTSC with L would, but it wasn't enough for L to go either way on him. L would find the lack of a claim acceptable, because it's llama.

He refused to name names for who he thought was Higuchi when questioned, because he didn't want to be responsible for the result.

He jumped on my calling out Epi for the role, because that's an obvious fit, it fit into what llama has claimed he believes is true, and he didn't have to be the one to actually say it.

After his normal start, he quieted down, because he didn't want attention when he did get the note.
