Which means I'm gonna have to take extra care to specify the rules in games I run.

I don't mean that in a hostile way or that Epignosis doesn't know how to run a game, or something like that. Quite the contrary. But if the rules allow for a certain activity or behavior, I am happy to engage in it. I wasn't being an asshat (I don't think?) I wasn't pseudo-role outing or info-dropping. I realize the spirit of the game was to enforce the idea of quality over quantity in our posts, but I'm not a spirited mafia player. I'm a demon.

At that point, I was confident we'd already won. I figured Tiny Bubbles wouldn't vote, and worst case scenario it would be 3-3. I didn't get the impression that Epi would want to stretch out the game by breaking the tie in the civs favor.

I tend to go into cruise control if I think I've won.

I would have drawn a name out of a hat (since I was at work).

The names of these roles are all old people I knew (mostly when I was a kid) who have died. The Mafia are people who weren't quite right or smelled weird (that's no longer true since I added Ms Allene, who always gave us treats and let us watch wrestling).

The detective is someone I particularly admired- a real scholar.

As for Homegirl, he was a man who used to walk down the sidewalk in front of my grandma's house and call out "Homegirl!" to certain people he knew. I never knew his real name, but he was nice to kids, and he used to say, "I'm a street person myself. I like to talk in the street." I included him because, HOMEGIRL!
