I did have fun, but no, I don't like the game setup. This was essentially last man standing with three players at an impossible disadvantage.Golden wrote:I'm sorry if you don't like the game setup or didn't find it fun. We did our best to make the experience fun and fair for all, and I hope at least that most people did enjoy it. We certainly went for whimsy as a focus in preference to serious mafia. The game was always going to play out in confusion given the existence of three night kills and all the personal win cons that drove many of the lynch behaviours.Epignosis wrote:I didn't understand it. What was the point of having civilians? They had no chance of winning.Golden wrote:I hope lots of you enjoyed the game. It was certainly more than a little unorthodox, but we really wanted to give it a go, and from my perspective it was really fun to watch you all try your best to get to grips with it.
Congrats also to the winning team on all meeting your personal win cons... it was touch and go there for a bit.

I don't see how this was a balanced game at all. Or Mafia.
This all boiled down to luck: Who got night killed.
And it all came down to a coin flip.
Might as well have played craps.

I've got a slight ping from nero, and I am feeling good about Epi's posts directed at him, but he won't be getting my vote today for a few reasons. I don't like what Llama said about him, as off right know Nero seems like an easy lynch button.
I don't like Daisy's response to G-man's ISO. It came off as very defensive and pingy.
Let's summarize, shall we?sig wrote:Wilgy always claims doctor regardless of the game and alignment. The other would be Nero he has made a few posts and I think your voting for him already? I've got a slight ping but not vote worthy.
A few pings, but not enough to lynch, llama's not right, slight ping from nero, feeling good about what Epi said, but Nero won't be getting a vote for a few reasons even though I'm about to name just one, which is Nero "seems" easy, Nero has made a few posts but he's getting attention for that already, again a slight ping but he shouldn't get a vote.

Maybe Day 3 I'll be on your team.sig wrote:One of our most active players who was almost certainly a civ was lynched, because Epi voted for them. Well, since I'll be stardust soon, I'll leave you with this.
Nerolunar is my biggest suspect, someone who called for participation, got called out for not participating, and then voted the person who called him out.
DrWilgy says I didn't answer his questions, but I did. He thinks I should have clear opinions on people even if I don't, and that even if I do, I should have to lay my cards on the table that early. Sorry. Never going to happen with me.
Hopefully I don't get lynched, but if I do, at least you have that.

No. It doesn't apply to us both. For three reasons:Nerolunar wrote: I have suspected you a bit since people started mentioning your fluff, since I agree with that. First, my participation has nothing to do with people calling me out on anything. I do what I want regardless of what people say, time permitting.
Second, I said I would do better and put forth an effort because I hadn't done so. I feel like I have. The most you've done since I brought your name up was to counter-suspect and vote for me. That's continuing not being productive.
Third, I'm not the one who said people needed to be circulating their thoughts more. You said that. If you say that, and then don't speak your own mind in the thread, I have to wonder what's keeping you from doing so.

I wasn't concerned about there being fluff and role-playing before your post. What I'm pointing out was that after this post, you haven't had much more to say than your predecessor. Re: Zodiac Mafia [DAY 2]
S~V~S's first dozen posts or so don't have any value for locating teammates unless you question whether or not S~V~S would express distaste for her teammate's comments in the thread or in BTSC. This point is assuming llama or G-Man (or me, if you want to throw me in there) are on her side. I am of the opinion that she would express what she did in the thread where the upsetting comment occurred to serve as an example to everybody. Someone speak up if you think differently.
I looked at Willow, in which S~V~S was bad. It was a small affair with a 3-person Mafia. Early on, she only interacted with her teammate bea to edit out a piece of profanity (there was a child playing, but it's funny looking back anyway because bea's signature says "Bitch, my identity is my identity theft protection!"). She didn't interact with her other teammate (Eloh) at all. This gives me the impression that I should be minding the people S~V~S did not significantly interact with here. I am reluctant to vote G-Man, thellama73, or Quin based on this. Her singular interaction with DrWilgy was insignificant.
I don't believe S~V~S missed the vote on purpose. I almost missed it my damn self.
Not enough meat there, I'm afraid. That's what my last date said about me too.

While that's true, I won't use it as an excuse. I haven't given this my best effort. Sorry.G-Man wrote:He is very busy with his Batman game but I have concerns. I'll do better. I'd hate to be lynched for smelling bad.

Aw man, you're right. I'm sorry. I mean I would vote for S~V~S. But now I can't. I always miss the opportunities with the ladies.DrWilgy wrote:-__-

That's impossible. If everyone was tied at one vote, it would mean I had already voted.DrWilgy wrote:Epi, if everyone was tied at one vote who would've you broken the tie towards?Epignosis wrote:I said I was going to break any tie that came up. I don't have good luck, especially with the ladies.
But if it wasn't impossible, not Sloonei.

Re: Zodiac Mafia [NIGHT 1]
Did I have to? No...but that's how it worked out. It was 9:39pm EST when I came back to my computer. I voted, and then I spent the rest of the night at my computer looking at fourteen empty inboxes on various meetup sites.DrWilgy wrote:Re Epi: And you had to hold your vote till the very last minute to break a tie?

I just thought I was trying to lynch G-Man, like you, you know, being supportive of you and all that. Please don't break up with me. I can change.
Why did you hold your vote till last min? Your vote was either very aggro... For a reason unknown, or very defensive to save Bullzeye.

I have a bad experience with ties. A girl once said she was torn between me and this other guy.
She picked the other guy.

I try to tell the ladies that I'm pretty good at it, but they don't believe me or something.

The kill counts as a power, correct?MovingPictures07 wrote:Heists

I wish sex was a power. And that I got targeted.

Here's the thing. If Epi's vote was a save, it was an incredibly transparent one. But in a game like this, where the Day 1 loss of a teammate would be devastating, it might be worth it in the hopes of playing the WIFOM. I think I would be up for a Bullz or Epi lynch tomorrow to test this theory.
