I voted Devin to save Sorsha, and I could vote espers to save Devin.
None of this is ideal to me.

I will point out that espers isn't the only other option, if you feel it isn't civ friendly. There are enough votes scattered across the board to open up the possibility of a coordinated vote move. You 6 (or fewer) have the ability to control this lynch. Although time is short now.

What I find funny about this post is that you're adding to another civ bandwagon. The baddies were having a great day in the last phase. They'll have another great day if we don't spread our field of vision. Why do you insist on tunneling the "top choices?"sig wrote:I'm not sure about this espers vote it has gained alot of attention and shifted focus away from yesterday's lynches. If I recall correctly the top choices were Devin, Sorsha, and Russ? This has become entirely redirected to espers. I expressed some suspicions of him in the past and I don't like how he just managed to get by yesterday which resulted in a civ lynch.

I don't understand your busy accusations on him. The silencing thing was probably sarc to a few of us considering him silenced or something. Doesn't the "busy rl" disclaimer apply to anyone experiencing it? Sure, an invested player might still try to push himself to get something done until a Day ends, but why demand it so heavily? What makes you think he might be particularly phoning it in?

Okay. My Diiny suss in a nutshell.
Started the game not feeling great about him because of tone and Roxy back-and-forth (shouldn't be hard to find this on page 1 of his post history).

I agree with Rico that this flip didn't look good at all. I don't feel any better about his response to Rico. Seemed contradicting.Diiny wrote:That's nae flip, kid.Ricochet wrote:Diiny wrote:I do agree with Wilgy's idea that claiming to want to change up your playstyle post rolecard distribution is fishy. Guy's a scum lean for me, now. Basing a vote on day 0 shit and sticking with it and not grappling with anything else for the rest of the day is bad stuff in my book.
Explain this flip.
I thought BWT was a decent lynch because of all of the evidence (as I said in that post), wilgy's comment included. That doesn't mean I endorse wilgy's vote, (which was based on ONLY a single observation from DAY 0 that took into account nothing from day 1 if I remember correctly) or indeed wilgy himself. His single point was valid, and would have made for a fine ingredient in a fully fleshed out, impeccably cooked vote. Unfortunately, he just sprinkled it onto a plate and called it a day.
I still have a scum lean on him.

Diiny is obviously my main suss now. Espers is my immediate second for reasons already stated by others. Bullzeye, Matt F, RDW, and Floyd are my other lesser pings. Bullzeye is pure metta. It feels like a repeat of his baddie style in recruitment (Tones and vibes). Matt F (More tones and vibes, man). Srs questions for you, JJJ: Do you think baddie rdw would be participating more? Seems unlikely that a scum would risk being mod-killed by the sock god.
What is your current view on Floyd? Do you think the "I don't know how to play" (act) is pure bologna to disguise the fact that he's on the baddie team? I was particularly pinged by his recent vote on Elo.

This is WIFOM for everyone else, but I can say with 100% certainty that there was no save attempt. No point for one. As I typed that out I remembered that Epi's vote on me was a save attempt for Sorsha. So let me clarify. There was no save attempt for my life. No point.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Here's a view of Day 4's lynch with the two main players involved at the forefront.
My question to any player pointing the Day 4 lynch out as a save: Why could it be a save?Spoiler: show
Sorsha led the lynch 4-0, 6-2, and 10-7. It was tied at one point at 7-7, but at no point did Devin lead the lynch (unless someone had switched their vote from one to the other, which I have not looked into yet). If this was a save attempt, MacDougall, espers, and Russtinfinko look the worst for their votes.
Looking back Bullzeye is the only one who pointed out "save attempt". But he mentioned no names to be doing the saving.
Also, I do not forgive him for voting for me on Day 3.
Linki: None of the final 3 votes will make them look bad once I am revealed. Just sayin'.

Re: [NIGHT 4] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
With a 1 vote difference it certainly looks that way, doesn't it? That's too easy.fingersplints wrote:I don't have many thoughts right now. Roxy is still the person i trust the most. I don't expect you all the believe my reads off her, but I know Roxy, and she is a civ. I feel alright about you, and I think I feel ok about Elo, but I am not that really confident about that one. It's mostly a gut read off how I think a baddie vs civvie Elo would act in a game of this size.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Sometimes a fresh mindset is a good thing. You don't necessarily have to catch up with this entire thread. You can just read it as it comes to you starting now and share your perspectives starting now. If by chance you make an assertion that is contrary to thread evidence, I am sure someone will say so and you can go from there.fingersplints wrote:Sorry for missing the vote. I had no idea who to vote for, no one even tried to summarise, and it's honestly unlikely I will ever catch up since there are 76 pages. I regret agreeing to replace into this game before checking the thread. I won't make that mistake ever again
I think that the votes look like there could have been a save for Devin. (Particularly the last three guys at the end there - but I haven't read them this is off vote timing).

Re: [NIGHT 4] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
So sorry Sorsha
Seeing as I received 9 votes to her 10 we should shorten the next day phase so you guys can go back to baddie hunting. It's pretty obvious where Day 5 is going to go. I know where I'm voting.

Shall we have a repeat of Recruitment IV old friend?Bullzeye wrote:Forgot the poll ends earlier now. Will have to vote soon! Probably won't stick with Russ since he's unlikely to be lynched today. I still don't think Sorsha is bad. Will consider a Devin vote more strongly and see if I want to commit to that.
Only difference is, I'm not bad

Re: [DAY 4] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
It does suck to see that my efforts were all for naught, though. At least in the cases of JJJ and Matt F.
