I was 2 for 2 G Dammit!! I outed myself that night because I knew you had me figured out. I was hoping with my little info and my bs about protecting myself that night, the rest of the town would be able to figure out that Elo was 1 of the baddies. I really fucked up my bluff, though. I could have done that a lot better and I only realized that after I had posted my outage. Oh well, inactive town is inactive. It was still a really fun game. GG you 2 animals!Scotty wrote:I've never seen the Notebook, and I hope I never have to.Ricochet wrote:Lame.
Congrats you two, but whoever killed me, welcome to my Death Notebook. My elimination served your purpose well, but there will be consequences the next time I am villain, SK or vigi.
From the sidelines - Eloh turning defensive the past cycles sealed it for me that she is up to no good. As for Scotty, him gradually imposing himself as the top ISO'er, susser and such started giving me second thoughts, but other than that, I didn't get anything on him.
Playing this was a complete mistake, from my viewpoint, given most of the civs' in-thread "performance", but what can you do - shoutout to Draco, otherwise, killer instincts there, even if it didn't work in my case and I had still suspected you more than others anyway, d'oh.
Shit personal gut/breadcrumb reads + mislynching (twice!) + half the field being inactive almost every Day + each daily top wagon hardly putting up a fight or even showing up until EoD = no good. LC, for instance, had better instincts regarding Scotty, but he left the probing cold, despite my inquiries.
Draco was a thorn in our side from the start, but we had him figured out by Day 2 because of how inactive the town was.
This really was a nightmare for town due to the low activity, and we got super lucky with WIlgy going out Day 1. Otherwise, if everyone had just claimed early on, we could have been screwed, since info-dumping and role claiming were allowed.

Re: Home Alone [Day 3]
I thought Llama was bad
And Elo, since info dumping and role-claiming are allowed, I thought I'd give it a shot before I die.
But right now I'm looking at a Scotty/DF duo. It would make sense for Scotty to push the lynch of an inactive teammate. Major street cred.
But if no death occurs tonight, I would look at Elo as a main culprit. If no death occurs, I'll explain further.

Re: Home Alone [Day 3]
LC/Draco pairing, Scotty?
LC is the only person I trust because I protected him on Night 1. I protected Rico on Night 2, but unfortunately for him I was blocked. So yeah, I've been agreeing with LC because he's made sense to me. Obviously he's been wrong, but we're both a bit misguided. Not anymore.
Why do I bring this up now? I was blocked last night. I've been figured out, so I think it's obvious who I will be protecting tonight. Sorry to whomever else they target.

That's how I felt, LC. I'll go further, though, and say that the tone and substance of her responses made me second guess my desire to vote for llama. Still thinking on this

Re: Home Alone [Day 2]
I understand why I look bad to you. I can't really defend my actions/comments more than I already have without sounding like a broken record. But I don't think any of the MM voters are bad. I think LCs point is sound and that we should be looking at everyone else. Easy for me to say, I know, but I believe llama and Scotty are our best bets. I will most likely be voting for one of them in the next Day phase.

Re: Home Alone [Day 2]
I did consider other options. But the only option that might have saved MM was Enrique, and I felt MM was more likely bad than Enrique. Also, I wanted to give Enrique a chance to live past Day 1 in one of these heistsRicochet wrote:Damn. Sorry, MM.
Unfortunately, I feel it could be anyone; the bandits may have even gone different ways. Eloh, you and I were pretty determined to test the red peek. Draco said he'd consider other options just as much, but then I don't even recall him coming back till EoD. As you say, Scotty and llama could have easily distanced: Scotty locked on Enrique pretty quick; Llama could have cooked for us the "I told you so" speech, but right now I'm not feeling it entirely. Sprityo's take on MM was kinda lax and he "took interest" in voting Scotty for unstated reasons. Then there's DFaraday and Enrique, who missed the Day completely.Long Con wrote:Sorry, Marsh! Ok, Scotty and Llama are my top suspects now. Baddies knew Metalmarsh was going to flip Civ, and avoided voting him. Llama already said he's going after Metalmarsh voters if he flipped Civ.
The way we've been playing, the bandits could have hidden on either of these three paths.

Re: Home Alone [Day 2]
Sorry MM It wouldn't have mattered if I had changed my vote last night. I kept checking in to see if anyone else had moved, and they did not. So I didn't either. Yes, a vote for Enrique would have tied the vote, but I am still not comfortable voting for him yet. Right now I feel like it would have just been a tie between 2 civs. That being said, LC might be on to something.
You seem very certain that the baddies aren't using their abilities. Why assume this? I feel like pushing non-participants will only whittle down the number of civs. I'm looking at you for this next day.Scotty wrote:Even more likely is the lack of interest from Mafia, because they weren't active yesterday, or didn't care. DFaraday is going to be my upmost candidate going further. Enrique as well, but I at least know DFaraday has been active in other threads and has not been here since Day 1. Sprityo has made me feel a bit better- I know he's having wifi troubles- but I feel like Mafia could be hiding in the weeds among any of you

Re: Home Alone [Day 2]
Hi llama. I did this after Talking Heads. I just got tired of the old name. Draconus is a name I've used for awhile now across many other platforms, so I thought I'd introduce it here.thellama73 wrote:Hi Devin. What makes you think this?thellama73 wrote:I also want to state on the record that I think MM is unlikely to yield a baddie, and I will be looking at his voters with extreme suspicion if he gets lynched and I am right.
I don't think baddie MM would come out gunning for me on Day 1 with no provocation. It's not his style. He would be more subtle.
That's a fair point. He is usually more subtle, as you say, and more calculating with his actions as a baddie. I just can't shake Wilgy's posts when he voted for MM. I did say, though, that I would carefully consider my other options today. I don't want a repeat of A World Reborn

Re: Home Alone [Day 2]
Yeah sorry for being so vague. I really don't know. I didn't pay too much attention to what was being said. I paid more attention to the lynch/night results (I didn't participate in that game).Scotty wrote:Ah ok, I'm sorry. All you said was "Tree Cop and all that", which means nothing to me. So would you say that Enrique is acting the same he did in Tree Mafia, or is it just a principle thing that is holding you back from voting him day 1 again?

Re: Home Alone [Day 2]
I disagree with your first paragraph. It doesn't make sense to me to not use a NK in such a small game with only 2 baddies. Just my opinion, thoughLong Con wrote:Ok, fair enough. 24-hour days and thread silence doesn't work for that line of thinking, that's true. I think that the Mafia deliberately didn't kill anyone in order to lead us on a wild goose chase against low posters.
I also think that DrWilgy "red peeked" Metalmarsh and voted for him. It's not the strategy that everyone would use, but I think it's logical enough for him to go after MM right away just in case he got nightkilled early, there would then be a record of his info played out in a Day 1 vote, if nothing else. So I'm going to vote Metalmarsh at this time.
Furthermore, it's likely that the other Wet Bandit would try to steer the thread away from focusing on MM, so your post that doesn't suspect him at all follows that logic. So you're my other main suspect at this time.
That's where I'm at right now.
I do agree with your second paragraph. I think it's worth following Wilgy's lead and voting MM, so I will do that, as well. If he was able to get a successful early peek it would be a shame to waste it.

Re: Home Alone [Night 1]
I missed the entirety of Day 1
Enrique's response/comment on LCs post was a bit suspicious, but I would have let him go another day or 2 before voting for him. Tree Cop and all that. Ironically I would have voted for Wilgy. He is most definitely not a doctor.
