I am sick so I was drinking the green tea with ginger and lemongrass I had but I steeped it three times so it's pretty much spent.

Tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to Asia.

I lately have been given a few teas. One is a chai blend, one is a yerba mate, green tea, and matcha blend flavored with lemongrass and ginger, and one is call Movie Night and it is green tea with lots of apple bits and has a maple flavor to it.

I think that would be fine, I've never had either brand before but with fruit flavored teas the fruit flavor is generally what matters most.

Thanks to a friend I have lately been making with this lately. It's so nice! It makes me want to drink tea even more. I also have been drinking coffee puerh thanks to that same friend. I mixed it with coffee grounds and it is pretty good. The tea has a mainly puerh flavor and it mixes well with coffee. I tried mixing lapsang and coffee the other day and that worked pretty well too.

My aunt gave me a Manatea infuser :D:D and three teas from Medley in Portland to go with it: Rose City Blend, Hawaiian Blend, and Honeybush. The first one is a rose petal black, which of course I love. The Hawaiian one seems to have hibiscus and ginger, and it is wayyy too fruity/strong on the hibiscus for my tastes. The Honeybush is a rooibos I think, and is ok. Mostly I'm really happy about the infuser, it's awesome :D
Honeybush is actually different from rooibos, but it's another herbal tea from South Africa. I think it's a little sweeter than rooibos.

Re: Tea Drinkers of the World, Unite and Drink Coffee

For Christmas, I got lapsang souchong, longjing, and jasmine tea. I also got a golden eyebrow (Jin Jun Mei) sample. They are all amazing, especially the longjing and jasmine tea. All the other jasmine tea I've had before has had a sharp taste to it. If not steeped carefully, it would be very unpleasant. This however has a smooth, flowery taste and I rather like it. The longjing is wonderfully grassy in that longjingy way, and I love the color of the tea and the look of the steeped leaves. The lapsang souchong is great too, nothing unexpected from it but still smoky and delicious. I have only sampled jin jun mei once before and it was hands down my favorite black tea I've tasted, so I look forward to tasting that again. It has a naturally sweet flavor that needs absolutely nothing added.

It's like that, in a cup.
That reminds me, there is a kind of bagged oolong I sometimes get that, when steeped, reminds me of the smell of the tobacco my mom uses to roll cigarettes for some reason.

A couple of earl greys I've had were like that, they have this sort of bitter aftertaste I can't describe well. I used to drink Tazo Zen a lot when I was first getting into tea, and I still like that. I've also had their loose leaf green at a Starbucks and that was good too. I think it's the bergamot flavoring that messes with me. I've not had Twinings' Earl Grey but I have had Numi's and that was good, so I'm not sure what causes it. :S

You want to make sure you put enough in the infuser that you get nice strong tea but not so much that it doesn't have any room to expand otherwise you won't get the full flavor anyway.
