And I agree with Rob, I can only speak for myself and Lizzy (to some extent since we spent so much time discussing the game) and we agree that we put a lot more work into this game than any other that we've played.

To be completely honest we had planned on tying the game ages ago if we ended up "winning" as an alliance.

Since DH wasn't online when the event started and hasn't been killed yet, what does making it to the event entail?

Isn't this game somewhat biased towards the person who starts with the ball since they could just wait until the last minute and hand it off before anyone has time to react?

Also, to try and avoid being annoying, one last question: What was the point of the last poll if you didn't end the day? The time period has long expired.

It looks like it, INH never said the time was changed or anything, so I guess it's canceled?

For last night's twist, everyone was randomly assigned a team, and one person from each team was made captain. Their job was to contact the people in their team and tell them to vote for their team. They also could convince people that were not on their team, that they really were. Remember, only the captains were told what team they were on. vomps used to misspell true so often that everyone started spelling it wrong on purpose all the time. Now it's weird to see it spelled correctly.

I'm not sure what I could say, people would benefit from someone other than themselves dying, regardless of whether or not they believe me. I could argue that I was put here by being caught in the middle of some scheme and that I'm here because of the actions of someone else, but would that be enough to pardon me? I know it seems crazy to save someone whose existence doesn't benefit them. In the end I think I'll just say that I'm at your mercy, and hope people see why I don't deserve to be killed (just yet anyway).

I do feel bad for it, but I have to vote for Matt F because his actions so far seem the most suspicious, (but nothing to do with baddies or civs

I admit I should've been more clear when responding to Matt F, I just assumed it meant they were working together and it was ok to imply I'd work with both of them by replying to Matt. After that I made sure to say yes to DH as well to be clear. First, after I tell Bullz in the thread that I want to start an alliance, he PMs me saying let's start one. Then he tells me DH is his partner.

Then, I straight up lied to A Person and told him DH said A Person was his partner. Then I said I just wanted him (A Person) to confirm it for me, tell me if it's true, before I go any further in an alliance with DH. I also made a similar PM to Llama, telling him Bullz told me Llama was his partner.

Both of these PMs I sent were completely random. I got lucky with A Person.

And after asking him if it was true that DH was his partner, A Person responded "Yes, that's true."

I suppose he could've been mistaken, and thought I was asking if they were allies, but I specifically said "partner" !!

The confusing part is that INH used the word teammate, not partner. I assumed you used partner and not teammate to differentiate. Apparently not.
