Ah, sorry. Chaindeath mistook the events of an earlier lynch to mean that there was a sort of turn order in place, since there was a hit pulled off then the cops got there to find the person dead. In Magic order of events matters quite a lot and it effects the way he plays his other games.

I thought the host said that night powers go through if the person using them dies. So I am unsure how who was arrested would have had an effect on this. Dom was killed by the civvies according to this post.

MP, since you are here, night powers & kills & such still go through if the person who had the power dies that night, right? Or did I imagine you said that?
That was said in Spirited Away mafia, you confused geezer, you. Although, I guess it's likely to be the same.

What say you MP; do dead players night actions carry through?
No it was said here, he just confirmed it:

Re: [DAY 12] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts

Prisoner 509378 wrote:Welp. Anyway. We're in the heated final days of a heck of a game, so let's finish strong y'all. Moving foward.

Hey chaindeath, it's clear that you've been trying to keep track of peoples' roles. That can be a productive exercise, and I admit that it's not my strong suit personally. Would you be able to tell me what kinds of methods you're using to determine what roles certain people might have, and how long you've been working on that?
This is something that chaindeath started on day 10 because the pool was small enough that it allowed some small amount of certainty. His starting point was himself, 1 townie. Then The two dons since they haven't been lynched yet and TH has been confirmed. Sloonei has been active all game and chaindeath is willing to bet that the police tried to lynch him multiple times without success, the first time thinking maybe he was a stool pigeon then trying again to confirm his real role. As a prisoner you seem to be on the side of the town. Epi made chaindeath waffle between for the whole time up until his death. With Epi's flip it drew chaindeath's eye to the similarity to Epi's efforts to kill both Nero and chaindeath. This made Nero slide into town. Given the large number of unknown roles left chaindeath did some hoping that one of the people we arrested was the seemer which left three cop roles open to be filled. Once Nero got arrested it really narrowed down the possibilities for who the cops were, since chaindeath isn't one it left only soneji and Elo. Elo has flipped as a cop, so only Soneji is left to do horrible cop things as the chief.

TL:DR - Chaindeath logic-ed his way through the past couple of days for the most part.

That should be all of chaindeath's thoughts on how he came to thinking what he thought. In the middle of Day 10 one could add about two hours of despair over who was the one to lynch and about a half hour of OMG the website is down and people are going to kill him because he wasn't able to cast his vote.

Chaindeath knows how the change looked and unfortunately he wasn't able to be sure about Nero's alignment before that point. But Chaindeath can explain his reasoning, though it's going to look very similar to the other reasoning he posted.

Don - Daisy

Prior to this being the state of the board with Nero alive and Epi being flipped as a cop chaindeath looked at what the other roles likely were. with chaindeath being the other town option that the cops would like to lynch they chose to get Nero because he helped in killing off Dom the night before.

Night 2

In an abandoned warehouse near the outskirts of the industrial district, a man is tied and hanging from a meat hook. Another man circles him, carrying a baseball bat. Nearby stands a table full of various instruments of torture.

"Come on Dr. Wilgy, I know you're really a cop. Everything about you screams undercover prick. Save me the time of cutting you up and just admit it now."

Wilgy stares back at the man holding the bat without saying a word.

"You don't really want me to have to use all these tools at my disposal just to make you say what we already know, do you? Come on, talk."

"And give you the satisfaction of saying you knew it all along? No thanks. If you are going to kill me, go ahead. But you're killing a man who would never turn on his own family. You can carry that blood on your hands."

This answer was not the one the man with the bat was looking for and threw him into a complete fury. Within moments all that was left of Wilgy was a bloody mass of flesh.

"Dammit man, now I have to clean this mess up and bury you somewhere. I hate this job some days. Ah fuck it, I'll leave it for someone else to deal with."

---------------------------------------------------

"Our informant says something is going down at this location tonight," the chief says, nodding out the window towards the building. "If we're lucky we will catch the big fish in the middle of something dirty and we can put him away for life."

The group exits the van and move softly into the building before busting into it in yet another flurry of noise and gun brandishing. Hey, if it isn't broke, right? Unfortunately all they found was Wilgy's dead body hanging from a meat hook.

"It looks like he hasn't been dead long, sweep the area, see if you can find anyone else," the chief barked. He was irritated that they had come so close only to find their intended target not there, and their other target dead. It wasn't a good night for him.

------------------------------------------------------

"The boss really liked our work today!"

The Capo and crew were having a beer, talking over their success.

"So what are we going to do with our reward?"

"Try and take out that Sockface Don Bozo, of course!"

"Ohhh," the first guy nodded with a sly grin, "that's why you're the Capo, you've got the brains!"

"So we doin' this or what?"

The Capo nodded toward a booth in the back, "He's over there."

The three grabbed their drinks and made their way over to the booth, before sliding into the booth, two on one side and the third blocking their victim from escape. Matt looked at them nervously, "Hey guys, what's going on?"

"Don't act so innocent, we have you figured out. We're not a bunch of chumps."

"What do you mean?"

"We mean it's closing time. Let's go."

"It's only six fifteen," Matt protested weakly.

The crew member on his side of the booth grabbed his arm and pulled him up, sticking a gun in his ribs, "You have an early bedtime tonight."

No one paid any attention as they escorted him from the bar, or if they noticed they pretended not to. No one wanted any trouble. The gunshot outside created a moment of silence inside and then slowly everyone went on as if nothing had happened.

DrWilgy has been killed by the Hitman from The Sockfaced Famiglia. He was Crew, a member of The Daisy Crime Syndicate.

????? escaped an arrest attempt by the Police.

DrWilgy was already dead and thus escaped an arrest attempt by the Police.

Matt has been killed by the Capo and Crew from The Daisy Crime Syndicate. He was The Fall Guy, a member of The Daisy Crime Syndicate.

It is now Day 3.

You have 48 hours to find a policeman. Good luck, goons!
He thinks this implies there is an order of operations to the night and how arrests happen, maybe?

The biggest point he wants to make is that he should not be the target of the lynch because he is pretty sure that makes the town lose. If a don can only be killed if the majority of his family votes for him they would tie and neither family would win in totality.
Every night, he selects a mission that the Capo and Crew must perform; he either punishes or rewards them based on their performance. Additionally, every night, he puts a hit out on a player; if it matches the name submitted by Hitman, the hit is successful. He is immune to any Police night actions. Can only be lynched if the majority of his voters is from his own family. Has BTSC with Consigliere.
Chaindeath would like to be as transparent during this time as the rules will allow.

Re: [NIGHT 11] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts

Chaindeath is fine with Sloonei being warden. Soneji and Elo are likely the cops that are remaining. And to preemptively stop the OMG he changed his mind on Nero. It happens. In light of Epi's flip as a cop and some of the conversation leading up to and in the time between days chaindeath has an idea. Epi kept pushing for the two of us to be lynched and if Nero was his teammate that probably wouldn't be a smart thing to do. What would happen if the town rallied to chaindeath's side and we ended up lynching him and loosing the game from it. He'll be keeping an eye on Nero but for the moment he seems like he could be town.

Assuming that the baddies knew that they wouldn't lynch Dom they all piled on. Three stand out as not civs. One who is not alive anymore, one who is a prisoner and perhaps not linked to their win con, one who is pretty well confirmed town possibly a Don or some role similar and one who is most likely a Don. Excluding Epi the cops would have a pretty easy time seeing who the next NK should be. He thinks....

Nero, no hate from chaindeath, as far as his style is concerned. In the games he's played people are often suspicious or poke at the third person thing, comes with the territory.

Re: [DAY 11] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts

Chaindeath looked at Nero's and Epignosis's posts from the past day, specifically the ones that had something to do with Dom and S~V~S. After looking at this, where the votes lie in the past polls, and the front page of who's dead and alive chaindeath thinks he knows who and what some people are. Probably. For him to hopefully flush this out he needs to know a few more pieces of information.

Epignosis, what are your thoughts on chaindeath as the game stands?

Nero, chaindeath knows for a fact that his is genuine because he is town. He knows his role and knows it to be one of the town and the families. You on the other hand he does not know for sure what your role is. Dom tried to have chaindeath lynched and you seem to be doing the same kind of thing, albeit you started yours sooner.

Also, chaindeath thinks there are only three cops left. The player list is likely as follows:

Town
Sock Don
Daisy Don
Sock crew
chaindeath
Prisoner

Cops
Chief
warden
Beat cop

Are anyone ready for a Chaindeath lynch now?
What I really want to ask if why did you feel the need to reference this post before putting your vote on chaindeath? It's not like you were coming up with a new suspicion. No new information is being brought to light by you doing this, but you did it anyway. You've been suspicious of chaindeath all game, and you're voting for him right now despite the apparent support in the poll for Epignosis, who is also on your suspect list. Why chaindeath and not Epignosis, and why did you need to reference the prisoner's post?
Nero tried this with Scotties post, also.
It is genuine. He makes the same mistakes I did in my first game, which is writing down reads based on hollow reasoning and then forgetting them, making new reads as he goes along. Its just like seeing myself in fx Arkham, where my teammates were DFaraday and Floyd btw. I understand that the OMGUS is a trait of new players and that its not entirely alignment indicative but put that on-top of everything else and it does not look good in my opinion. If you need quotes for this go look at the case Scotty made on Chaindeath a few days ago.

Im frustrated that he is still alive despite his messy play. I keep pushing because my scumread is so strong and nobody has been listening. In my eyes he has only made weak attempts at recovering his play, not putting in the effort to change my view of him.

Linki - Epi even though my vote history speaks differently Chaindeath has been a major scum read for me through this game. I am against wasting votes so my final votes have not been on Chaindeath that many times as there was no support for it.v
It seems to chaindeath that he almost needs to draw from other peoples good names in order to try and have me killed and in turn win the game for the cop team.

I'm not quite sure I understand exactly what you mean here, chaindeath. This is not an accusation, just a friendly request for you to try to restate your point another way.
Chaindeath was trying to say that Nero hasn't built cases and it would seem that he has tended to use other peoples to achieve his end. (chaindeath thinks scottys case was the last one Nero referenced.)

Chaindeath thinks the cops are probably:
Nerolunar
Dom
Elochin
Soneji

Linki @ Soneji - 4. All votes must be cast in the poll to count. It is considered standard and good form to post at the time of your vote and indicate your vote with bold/underline. Your hosts would very much appreciate that you do this, so please do so, but it is not necessary for your vote to count.

Chaindeath was just trying to adhere to this, had he known it was going to cause such a fuss he wouldn't have. Cripe.

Elohcin

Nerolunar
Soneji

If you're a townie in that pile, then show yourself as brightly as you can. The game is still winnable, somehow, and if you get out of that pile then it's locked.
Aye aye captn.

I think the scum team looks like this:

Chaindeath
Elohcin
Epignosis
Last one is a coin toss between Soneji and Dom. I won´t be advocting to lynch either of these right now though.

I think we should be lynching the person who we think is scum but also if that person can provide us with information to help us continue our pursuit.

So, Epignosis

We should also be careful of bussing and new wagons popping up. There is probably going to be an attempted save at some point.
Chaindeath is going to place his vote on Nerolunar. He feels that this post is fishy because although Nero says that we need to lynch people who arn't providing information in favor of our pursuit of the cops. Perhaps chaindeath is not the best person to call someone on this but it would seem that apart from saying outright that these people are cops Nero hasn't done much of what he is saying the baddies are doing. Thoughts?

Chaindeath would also like to say he has a list of people who he thinks are not bad and at the moment would not vote for.

Chaindeath - He is town, also getting mod killed at this point in the game would suck for my fellow town mates.
Prisoner - He was released from prison so its highly unlikely that hes a cop. All of the outliers that were in prison post breakout have died, namely Fuzz, Tranq, and Golden.
S~V~S - She was linked to BR two(?) days ago and BR was taken down by the cops. Unless it was a very clever trick to associate closely with someone then take them out to build street cred, chaindeath thinks that S~V~S is town also.
Turnip Head - We tried this once and it didn't work. This leads chaindeath to think he is a don.

He thinks that Scotty, Epignois, Nero, and Serge are mafia.

Re: [DAY 7] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts

Chaindeath thinks a TH lynch would be best since boom has been non-existent this game it would be easy to lynch boom tomorrow.

In regards to the sockface role, chaindeath thinks that it could be the real role. If he remembers correctly there was a night that not much happened in the way of nighttime arrests and perhaps that was the time the rainbow list was used. It seems like that would be more likely than both of the Dons being found in the same night.

Time for lunch!

He ment to when he posted his last post. balgh repeated words He still feels that Nero is the one to lynch, also he will try to be on when the EoD comes around, if there arnt 10+ pages to catch up on he should be able to be active. He's driving for the next two hours so he'd only have ~45 mins to catch up. See ya'll then.
At this point nero is the only person that chaindeath has created a read on that is backed up by something. It's not very much, but it was enough for me to feel good about chaindeath because we had a common enemy. Now it just feels like a weak argument. That's fair.
Spoiler: show
Chaindeath would like to thank those who have created rainbow lists and he hopes you all will keep them updated. He feels that ones opinion on others will greatly help his opinion on you. :D That being said however, He would like to address those who have said they don't trust him or feel suspicious of him:

Why do you feel that way? What makes him seem like a baddie? How can he help show you that he is indeed a civi going for a civi win con?

He hopes it is not merely his post count. Yesterday (in game) he felt like he made a good amount of high content posts (quality over quantity with 300+ posts per day on average, or thereabouts). He even presented his first case in a mafia game with quotes and everything. Its frustrating to see people say He's a low poster when he truly is trying his best to contribute in meaningful ways.

He would like to conclude with his suspicions and his feelings on the game state at this point in time. TH and Scotty is sending some major baddie vibes. Nero still makes me uncomfortable and chaindeath would like to draw attention to him. Llama If he were to make a list you would likely be in the yellow-orange category and Zebra fall in there too.

Sig and quin.... He feels torn with you two. He would like to say you're both town but could not do so with a clear conscience. He is going to say you're town leaning baddie. Hopefuly he will be able to say otherwise by the end of this day phase.
I think he's starting to 'play' now. He's asking questions which I like. Not so much what he's asking, but the fact that he's asking them. TH, zebra, sig, llama and I become a suspicion for chaindeath but he's not saying anything to elaborate. That's a lot of people to suddenly suspect at once. chaindeath is probably the least credible person at this point in time.

Chaindeath doesn't know how he wants to vote... He needs to do it for the day but all of the people with votes on them feel like they could be town. He's going to stick with his guns and vote Nero because he is sure that he's bad.
Spoiler: show
He was also questioned about who will be bad if Sig flips bad, he doesn't know. There are too many options for one person's death to tell for sure on any of them. Long post short of Sig flips bad he's bad if he flips good we as a whole messed up and need to do some looming at those who pushed the vote. It doesn't make them bad but more suspect he supposes.
He's responding to a question I asked him about the follow up to a sig lynch. He avoids the question. I do not like this. He thinks it would be a lot easier to find the other cops if a cop was lynched. He feels like the towns been fumbling from not having any other cops to help show alignment based on cross references from the two cop lynches that would show up.
Spoiler: show
Nerolunar wrote:

Actually while we are on this topic, I mostly threw shade at Chaindeath at the time. My goal was not to defend LC, but I did notice Chaindeaths behavior. That was my first ping of him - he decided to vote for LC when the only thing LC had posted was his disagreement to the plan that everyone should be voted for, to trigger the traitors. Very weak reasoning from Chaindeath that he didn´t follow up on rubbed me the wrong way and still does.

Why do you hang onto this vote for LC? Chaindeath has said it before but he supposes it bares repeating: Day 1 was buisy for him. He was highly distracted and unable to do much speculation, which is most of what you can do day one. The story hasn't changed and he supposes you are not willing to accept it. He wonders if you would have as much suspicion for him if he had said he used and RNG for the vote.
For some reason, Nero is the only person chaindeath is interested in pursuing as a valid suspect. What happened to Silver, DDL, sig, me, llama, turnip, black rock, zebra? I honestly don't think he's telling the truth about who he does and doesn't suspect. He's never given anything concrete on anybody else. He's essentially just tunneling on Nerolunar.

Chaindeath isn't scum. If he were a baddie he would be acting quite differently, probably. The biggest kick in the teeth for him is probably not quoting and typing out half of what he was thinking, with the other half that would justify his rational kept in his brain rather than on the page. Shame on him. His crime family has sustained losses and while he would like to say that you've been involved in all of them it would seem that you are intent on killing me and having my family loose as a result. He is unsure on what else to say to convince you in particular but maybe when he gets to responding to the huge ISO on him you may find answers therein.
What's the term for this? 'If I was mafia I wouldn't...' He makes a claim that nero's tunnelling would make his family lose. Is this some don roleclaim? Nope. Chaindeath is a civ but not the Don.

He is unsure of weather you are referring to your own lynch or your vote. He doesn't want to see you go if that's what you're asking but if it's about trying to lych Scotty then I don't think it would be a bad move, probably. He isn't particularly fond of this phrase from Scotty "
Oh man I want to lynch you. Teacher! Teacher! May I vote twice, like the Warden? I'll be a good boy, I swear!"

If this isn't what you're looking for Quin let him know.
So apparently he doesn't scum read me anymore. I mean, that's great and all, but he's shown no reason as to why. Activity for activities sake? It really just feels like he's making up his reads as he goes along. I don't like it. TBF You're not wrong, he doesn't have a log or flowchart of who is who and so on. What? Chaindeath wishes he could give you an answer for this. He did an ISO of chaindeath's posts jumped to that vote and read around it. He doesn't have an explanation (He knows... If you all had a dollar for every time he said that you'd be rich (especially if you included quotes)). Sorry
Spoiler: show
Can someone hook up chaidneath with a tldr of the day so far? He has classwork to do and not enough time to read through 400+ posts from the time he was away. To the direct accusations at him he would like to say if you lynch him you lynch a townie. There is no way to make this clearer that he knows of. He is going to vote Nero because he still thinks he's bad. All aboard the train hes going into a tunnel (or has been in one for a while).

To be completely honest chaindeath didn't have a read on Boomslang because he has five posts and chaindeath is surprised that Boom is even in the game, eg. hasn't been modkilled. Enrique was only around until night two so most of his posts seem to still have a trying to pin a read feel to them. What makes you say the stool pigeon is a role the seemer would choose?
One of the few without BTSC.
I would pick hitman and draw out a hitman. A civilian who can kill is a dangerous civilian. Flip as a hitman, and wait for somebody to contest it, and then arrest. That's what I would do.
Contesting would be against the rules though wouldn't it?
Also as off right know the hitmen have done more damage to the civs then the mafia. So while I see your point and it could be true, I don't think getting to deep into who the seemer might have flipped as should be done. I will stand by my claim that Ika is the seemer though.

So Chain switched off of Ika to back onto Ika right?
