I feel like blendy does less with how much you post and what you post about, so posting in abundance over mechanics verse posting only when you have somethimg to say about player behavior makes the difference.

Blendy seems like a nonsense reason to suspect Scotty, given that he's been giving some decent reads and cases at this late stage in the game. This feels like a NO U covered in fluff to me.

I have never been more frustrated by my own team doing so well.

Have to vote now, and I'm going with Made.

Scotty's case makes sense, his WIFOM-heavy accusation feels like him attempting to aim the thread at an easy target (me) instead of himself.

People kept posting that they thought one of us three was bad.

Eliminating one of us only increases the pressure on the other two, making me and LC more likely to be lynched. This is why I'm a little nervous about possibly voting LC.

You can WIFOM in one direction, I can WIFOM in the other.

LC, because we're the last two remaining members of the little voting block which consisted of me, him, and Quin that voted for all the wrong people. LC's the last variable, for me at least, so I'm leaning towards accepting Llama's theorem of someone in that block being bad, and am considering throwing a vote his way.

Yes.

I am inclined to believe that a mafia protector role exists for a reason. There is a secret for the civilians, there is a secret role, and there are prizes going out. It only makes sense that there is a threat to the mafia in another form than lynches, unless the protection extends to lynches the following Day, which, given that Mongoose is giving those out like Halloween candy, makes sense to me.

Well, we know the super secret role was Elo being an indie, win-with-whoever type. There is the potential for the secret civ role to be a vigilante who has the ability to kill once or twice in the game. But still, Jnco seems like a fairly weak role, except to maybe protect other teammates from blocks or silences.

I think no one dying is a slightly better outcome than a civilian dying, purely from a numbers perspective.

Quin is in my top three scumreads, along with you and Llama.

I don't like how quick LC was to turn on me in order to avoid blame for having incorrect opinions. Over the course of this day, he went from one of my top townreads to someone I'm on the fence about. I'm trying not to be blinded by his targeting me.

It was literally a thousand years ago.

I said I felt better about INH, but I never said I didn't suspect him at all. The empirical evidence is quite strong. At the time I made that post (which, to reiterate, was a thousand years ago I was probably least suspicious of INH out of anyone on my suspects list. Things he has said since then, and things others have said since then, and my own continuing ruminations on the state of the game now lead me to believe that he is the most likely suspect.

New question, INH:

When I revealed my lynch immunity, I said my desire was to force the lynch of somebody else who may be mafia-aligned. Entering Day 3, Wilgy was a perfectly viable lynch and that's what ended up happening. This means that if I am bad, I basically did this:

No guys, don't lynch me yet. Lynch my teammate first and then lynch me.

One could accuse me for not voting on that Wilgy wagon, but this hypothetical still demands that I take a very foolish risk which would have blown up in my face.

I think that last sentence is troublesome. INH said he didn't understand the WIlgy case, but he made no effort (that I saw) to learn about it and clarify whatever it was he wasn't understanding.

This was late in the day, and I was pretty sold against 3J.

It's a stupid, and ultimately wrong saying that three seperate people have tried to throw in my face, but I don't think it makes me bad.

INH, this is really the post that was marking you as "There - there's the way a teammate would try to salvage this for his teammate without outright defending him."

I still think 3J is bluffing.

If I didn't have to worry about self-preservation today, I would've most likely voted his direction.

Wilgy is a tricksy case, and I still haven't figured out how to read him. That, plus him being an easy mislynch in a few games past, enthusiasm for the cases against 3J, Llama, and Quin, combined with my own spotty voting record made me inclined towards looking in a different direction.

I've been wrong, or at least on the wrong side of the votes, for most of this game.

I don't think that makes me bad.

Even then, there are two other players who have been equally wrong: Quin and LC.

The former is moping around and weakly suggesting that we just lynch him.

The latter is shifting the blame over in my direction.

3J, LC is your mortal nemesis in this game. What do you think about him pushing my lynch?

I realize this is a theoretical "assuming that he's bad" case, but I'd like to respond to it anyway, as most people are beginning to assume I am anyway.

Point 1: I'd disagree that Llama is an easy target, as he's one slippery camelid. I'm also surprised that 3J's surprised that I'm capable of being quite assertive when I think someone is scum. See also: Unfortunate Events Mafia, where I ironically was much in the same position as 3J in this game, in that I was convinced LC was scum and nearly managed to get him lynched. I was civ in that game, for the record.

Point 2: I thought 3J and Llama had a high potential for being scum. I still think that. If you'd like to debate me on the merits of those two cases, feel free. I still stand by those opinions.
