There are a couple of civ roles that give BTSC, but I feel like Mongoose would at least hint if that was the case. Some may ask why the baddies would save a teammate in such an obvious way. I think that they are trying to frame her as Smaug.

I'm going to vote for Mongoose. Whether she survives or not, we'll learn a lot.
