Re: Random~

timmer, so sorry to hear about your upheaval even though it sounds like you have decided it is the best for everyone to move on. My brother is one of those people who is divorced but he and his ex and their child still do many things together as co-parents including coming to our family Christmas at my parents. It is amazing to me how well it all works. I wish you the best.

And I finally gave up on Microsoft Edge and in fact Microsoft in general (too many troubles with damn updates to Windows 10 and my computer randomly shutting down) and bought a Mac. I am in love and highly recommend it.

I say coincidence. I don't thing there is any correlation unless people are having heart attacks while filling out their taxes!

I enjoy all the hoopla about the commercials for exactly the reason epi pointed out: they are for entertainment value. I enjoy trying to decide which were the best and which were the worst and comparing my opinions with the advertising gurus. It all seems like harmless fun surrounding the game.

Several of the commercials are released at least to the media before the game every year. This year there is a Budweiser commercial about immigration that I've seen in several places even though it hasn't been aired as a commercial yet.

Good job llama. I'm also interested in what they saw that was a different angle. And I'm also interested in whether you will be able to post a link to the show. I don't think my NPR station airs that show at 11:00 am though I will double check.

Also interesting to me is that the director of the that movie did Saving Mr. Banks and if I'm remembering the movie thread correctly you also liked that movie. I liked it as well so would probably like this one.

It went really well this time!! I feel like I got on really well with the owner and she said she'd give me a call so I'm feeling pretty good about my chances. The job is working with the owner to do social media marketing for her business. The only problem is the hours are irregular and on a 'I need you' basis so I'll never really know when or how often I'll be working. That said, if they offer it to me I'll definitely take it (although we didn't discuss wages, I don't think the conversation ever made it's way there) unless there's a huge issue that comes up.
Thats great quin! It's not unusual for wages to not come up in the first conversation. I hope you get it and it's enough work for you.
