Re: Interrogation Room

Thats all very intriguing enrique, especially the part about Afro-Mexican relations. It would so cool if you became a pioneer in that area, especially since there is not much out there on it. It sounds like something I would associate with the major you just dropped. Too bad more of your credits don't carry over but i get what you're saying about finding the right area of study.

Re: Interrogation Room

I hear your going to study anthropology:

- What made you change your major?
- What interests you about anthropology?
- What courses will you take?
- What will you do for a living when you finish school? Are your eyes set on a specific type of job?
- Will you need to take a graduate degree to do what you want?
- What else should I know about but havent asked pertaining to your degree?
- oh! When will you graduate?

Re: Interrogation Room

What are you doing in here?
Will you post a picture of yourself? Will you post a picture of your girlfriend? Will you post a picture of you and your girlfriend?
What's going on with your job hunt?
Will you goof off with us while you are working?
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Growing up as the youngest of four were you spoiled?
Or were you picked on?
Are you telling the truth in all your answers here?

Re: Interrogation Room

1. Lorab, I notice you are moving again (or have already moved). Is that something that is just a rabbi's way of life?
2. You are always terribly busy (and I know you really are). What makes a rabbi's life so busy?
3. What books have you read lately that you would recommend?
4. Do you watch TV? If so what are your favorite shows?

I'm sure I will have more questions but I'll throw these out to start.

no? Publix is a private own (by us) food store (its dominate in Florida). I'm not a call center person (but i do answer phone)
I must have somehow gotten this confused. I thought you were a customer service rep who worked at HQ which is in Lakeland Florida. Yes, I'm aware Publix is a private company, I have shopped there for many years as has my mother. Since you don't work in the Lakeland office where (what city) are you in? Or state if you'd rather.

Re: Interrogation Room

hi ika -

what kind of work do you do?
sounds like you love it, why so?
are you also going to school?
if not, are you thinking of going back at some point or have you gone as far as you want to go?
What is your favorite book and why?
What about your favorite movie?

Also answer the Epi question after you've played with him a few times - or maybe only once.

Re: Interrogation Room

Very interesting story about being vegan. I am sliding toward vegetarian but I don't think I could go full vegan.

Are you from Canada Canuck or are you an American Canucks fan?
What part of Canada?
And where are you in school?
How much time do you have left?

Re: Interrogation Room

Canucklehead!

I've all ways wanted to know how your future career in 17th century lit (it is 17th century right? If not please correct me but my questions still stand.) will fit together with your dance career. How will you do both, or do you intend to do both? What is it about 17th century lit attracts you (as opposed to another century)?

Re: Interrogation Room

Hi MetalMarsh, I know absolutely nothing about you so I'm going to start with the basics -

Where are you (city, state, country whatever you're comfortable with)? Did you move there? If so from where?
Who convinced you to come over here from PA?
Is this your first mafia experience? If not, where else have you played?
How many games have you played now? Do you have a favorite game yet?
Who are your friends on this site, like people that you know irl? Or at least know better than others? If none, who would you like to get to know better?
What do you do when you're not mafia-ing (school, work, both, neither)? Expound as much as you like.

Ok, that should get us started. Thanks for agreeing to be in the hot seat.

aapje is your buddy? He is my buddy too! And bea's! I think that means we're all related.

1. TH, I saw you mention mafia is a lot different today than when you played it before. Can you explain what those differences are?

I'll quit asking you things, I promise.

Re: Interrogation Room

Turnip Head, I love your mafia playing but i realize i know nothing about you. So I'm going to start with the basics:

Where are you from?
What do you do? (school, work, etc)
Whats unique about you?
What should we know about you?
How did you come to play mafia? Seems like your name is familiar from a long time ago.
What have been your favorite games?
What win are you most proud of and why?

Thats enough to get your feet wet. All those hard questions will come from others! :)

Re: Interrogation Room

Mongoose wrote:It's a world of gray, gray, gray.
^^^This is so right I had to comment. There are many variables.

I used to be responsible for fair wages at a large company and there are many variables that went into someone's wage. We considered each case carefully regarding the job the person had, prior experience before working for us, length of service and thus more pay increases, whether they were at midpoint in the range after a certain amount of time, performance, etc. Also, complicating the issue is that not all grade 8 jobs (most large companies use a grading system) are alike and thus some people with certain skill sets are paid more than other people in that same job grade. Bottom line, you have to really know what you are doing to set a wage rate for someone and be able to defend it in a court of law if someone should bring action against you. One thing we NEVER, EVER, EVER considered and would have turned our attorney's gray if we said we would (and frankly, I should have been fired if I ever suggested it) was whether a woman in the the same position, with the same or very similar variable values as a male was considering having babies and working in her home instead of for us. Mongoose and Kate would know better whether that would be a direct violation of the Equal Pay Act or Title VII but I could not see myself saying in an audit "she makes less because she plans to have babies and be a stay at home mom". And who says she would anyway.

Anyway, lol this thread has really made a turn though its been fun reading.
