Oh thanks Epi, good rule, I'll remember it.

One lesson I take away from this is the value of voting no lynch sometimes. I always consider it a non-starter but when it gets down to Mylo it's worth taking a look at. Maybe it would be best if we just focus on what we learned. I don't want dunya to think we are slamming her game, she did a good job.

Congrats Daisy and Owner and indigo! I can see why I died N1, but why wasn't it Jay instead of me since he named you guys first? I really was suspicious of that vote post for Mongoose that Daisy made and was disappointed no one followed up on my questions to Daisy about it that I asked N1. Was the mafia's win condition tied into Daisy surviving somehow? I can see why Daisy won but I'm a little confused about the mafia. Anyway, congrats to you three!

okay, just because someone is a fast reader, or skimmed the thread, doesn't mean they're scum. Not trying to clear reywas by any means, but that accusation doesn't hold water.

I looked back at this and I'm thinking maybe he didn't ever post his conclusion. He made a post about some people being bad at 6:06 but theres no way he read back between 6:02 and 6:06, and I didn't get the impression he was saying he did. Otherwise, I don't see any conclusions.

I'm in general agreement with you though I'm not quite ready to acquit Mac and reywas. Mac because I didn't see a reason he glommed onto Mongoose and stayed there and Rey because he offered a reason for his nutella vote that seemed fake. They are far down my list though. Of most importance to me are Owner, Daisy and indiglo. Also, need to read back through EOD and pick through how some of those Mongoose decisions were made. I may come back to you with questions about your role in that debacle.

On another note I really like nutella in EOD pushing people to get off Luna. If Luna is bad she was brilliant in EOD.

What has convinced you that the two are town? I remember that people used to become suspicious of the people who switched votes close to the end, or people who waited till the end of day to vote, if the person lynched flipped civ. I’m going to place my vote on Luna, and I am wondering now before I vote, whether she has said anything that makes her look civ to you.

It's more that she gives me pause in that she listened to Mongoose and was willing to move her vote so it makes me question my read of her. Day 1 is always a hard read for me, I doubt myself a lot. And Mac is so adamant.

I might understand throwing out reads like you did on day 0 to get people talking. But you actually stuck with them into day 1. You say you suspect Indiglo and myself, then later on day 1, you still suspect us but "feel bad" lynching either of us. Day 1 is a time to build a case on those suspects if you were serious about them, or drop them if you weren't. Instead you're trying to look like you're staying "consistent," but you still just have no real reason for the suspicions.
So Luna, you say you suspect Jay but you voted Mongoose. I don't see anything about Mongoose in your recent posts. What did I miss?
Mongoose received a frowny face in my read list. I didn't feel comfortable with them after reading through their ISO.

Its getting late and I agree with Jay re: Luna. She sees him throw out names every game and its always for the same reason so why try to throw shade at him for doing it? I also didn't like that she said she suspected Jay but voted instead for Mongoose with no explanation (unless I somehow missed it). It's not much but it's enough for a day 1 vote I think.

Something about this isn't sitting right with me. I went back to see what questions you were talking about. In her last 6 posts she had no questions. In the prior post, going back 7, she asked this question:

My last few posts expand to more recent gripes. Accusing someone of having baseless reads on Day 0 is like accusing cows of mooing. Asking “why” one might hurl them out baselessly is hard to believe. I do it constantly and for reasons I have shared in 90 games.

Yes, I definitely understood the problem with Luna's "why" post. You do this every game, for the same reasons. Moreover, I thought you covered at least one reason in a discussion you had with someone - indiglo I think - earlier.

The thing I like least about what has happened so far is Rey's reason for voting nutella (because she didn't say NO U when he thought she should have) so I'm intrigued by your comment that you don't agree with all of his opinions but you are town reading him on tone. I see rey's posts as a raw, honest stream of thought. His posts are short and no-nonsense, and appear genuine. He throws out crazy reads (that I don't agree with), but I don't think it means he's scum.
But I could be wrong.

Ok thanks Luna. I do see what you mean about his posts seeming raw and honest - except for his reason for voting nutella. That didn't feel honest to me, it felt made up. Maybe he was just kidding around, which he does a lot when he plays, and I didn't get the joke.

I don't see any gross anomalies except Jay which I covered earlier but I accept his explanation for his quietness today while he focuses on the other game. ( [mention]indiglo[/mention] keep in mind I am comparing him to his other recent and current game). I don't have a good base for judging you and Mata because I haven't played with you recently. The problem is so many people have mastered the art of posting in the same style regardless of alignment.
