llama, did Vompatti know that metalmarsh was an animal and did he know inh was the other killer?

This is still the end game for Oblique Strategies, not the mullholland Dr. sign up thread. Let people finish endgame please. Its confusing to see Mullholland Dr. as the game instead of oblique Strategies.

ditto for me Snow Dog! I can't help but feel bad for the animals - the plan if followed would have allowed them to win too. Vompatti did you know metalmarsh was an animal when you killed him? Also, did you know inh was the other killer when you tried to kill him but he was already dead? I'm surprised there was no conversation about why inh died but didn't seem to be killed by anyone (his action was reflected back to him because that was splint's power). llama I thoroughly enjoyed myself and thanks for being such a considerate host, posts always on time or a warning when they couldn't be, prompt replies to night actions, and fun in bts.

llama, I'm confused. Where is oblique Strategies? Why does this say Mullholland Dr. mafia? Who won oblique? Where is the endgame discussion?

I agree with the post, it's a shame we still have to kill one. I'm going to vote ninja since she has volunteered she is an animal but I feel bad doing it. We can sort it out at endgame.

Well Vompati volunteered that he is an animal, I've just been trying to think through if there is any reason to do that if he's not one. I don't hear anyone arguing against voting for him so I would say that means he's not a gal or a fella. So I'll go ahead and vote. It worries me a little that no one has voted yet though. Am I missing something?

I hope that didn't ruin the plan for the animals to win. MM was dicey in my opinion so maybe Baby on Fire was re-acting on things s/he saw in the thread and felt comfortable he was an animal. I'm marching on with the plan and will vote for A Person today.

Somehow I missed half a page of posts which included the ones where Roxy talked about being an animal.

I don't think Roxy would lie in this situation but she already told us she was a fella so obviously one of those is not true. Well no one has come forward to volunteer that they are an animal. I hope someone does but if not I guess we should be prepared to find one ourselves. Unfortunately I'm leaving the house soon and will be gone all day so I'm going to be forced to vote when I get back since someone may volunteer in that time.

I'm voting SVS. And you're right MM, who are the baddies? Except for the people with the kills but at least one of them is good with the plan. Hopefully we'll see tonight that the other one is too.

This game is starting to make me feel bad. I don't want to ruin llamas game nor do I want SVS to feel like she doesn't want to play either. On the other hand, I can't think of any better strategy and i can't escape that if it works we all win. So, i will probably reluctantly vote for SVS tomorrow. I'm sorry SVS.

Hi splintsy - welcome. if you're not going to read back be sure to have someone explain the plan to you, and then have one of the people who don't like the plan explain their views.

Ok I will go with the mainstream and vote Tiger Mountain in honor of the animals.

I'm not blaming anyone, I'm just expressing my lack of understanding for why anyone wouldn't want to at least try this. There could be very good reasons, I just don't know what they are. I would be happy if I could understand. Anyway, since I have bought into this plan if it works with this first try I won't be voting for anyone who doesn't say they're an animal so it's not like I would vote for someone who would disagree with the plan.

I definitely want to see if we can pull off what would be one of the great games of mafia - everyone wins. I don't understand why there are people who don't want to at least try to make this philosophy work. Hopefully they are not the ones with night kills. I'm voting MP because I support the idea we can all trust each other and all come out on the winning side.

Thanks to you to MP. Also, I don't know what would come out of discussion because I don't recognize any of these options from any book, movie, TV Show, other medium. Maybe someone else does was my thought process. I'll just vote by this river since i spend my summers basically on a river.

I forgot to say I am fine to go for the everyone wins plan.

MP the animals also have a requirement to maintain a balance. Does that mean if we kill a guy first we need to kill a gal second or does that part of the win condition meaningless in this plan? Whats your read on that?

And yes i agree we should be talking about where we want to go. I have no idea which is the best way and I'm not sure why people have already voted. Weren't we supposed to talk about it or did I imagine that?
