there was a limit on the recruits of 5 but mostly we were just incredibly lucky that we didn't get targeted and werent lynch candidates though hedge got mentioned a couple of times. We did however gain control of Dom's kill which allowed us to use it and the strax kill to keep as many night kills as possible away from us. We tried to recruit you TH but that was the night all the powers got redirected. We recruited gotrees that night and as it turned out we couldn't have won without him. And why the heck did you insanify me?

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 11

I agree that there are some compelling cases out there but zeek's case and his zealousness plus my own gut feel are leading me to vote for Dom. Another smaller thing that I caught in Dom's posting while defending himself was the notion that if he were the master he would have helped fill in the master's secrets during the decoding since he would have known the secrets. I know his argument is wifom thus my comment is too but I would think it would be just the opposite. If you help make the secret whole it seems to me you would be more suspicious, if anything. I just found that POV odd. Anyway, I think this is the right vote so I'm voting now and like keys said keeping my fingers crossed -

*vote Dom

*also chris I see how you could be right and dom be a cyber but I'm banking on him being the master or the recruiter.

And no, I'm not trying to hint that Long Con 1.0 was The Ood. If he had been, I certainly wouldn't touch this DFaraday hint with a ten-foot pole, I'd leave it to the rest of the thread to decide. Just didn't want people to start "seeing where I'm coming from" in an erroneous fashion.
Ok so I went back a few days to look at the cyberkills and they were:

Night 10 - Elo killed
Night 9 - LC
Night 8 - Dana not killed
Night 7 - LC not killed
Night 6 - Chris not killed

I didn't realize until I took this look that the cybers have had bad luck on their kills. So looking back I don't really see a cyber kill that could have been the ood. I have someone else penciled in for your role and don't think you were the ood and then there was no one else killed. What do you think LC?

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 11

Before I forget, Dom I replaced Nikki.

There are so many suspicions out there now! I would think we would be coming more together instead of moving apart but this has been a strange (though excellent hosts) game.

I think I'm going to have to go through these by process of elimination. For the moment the only one I've rules out is DF. He role claimed a specific role and i think he wouldn't take that risk unless he really was that role. It's just too risky unless you are that person or you know for sure that person is dead. I'm not sure how he would be sure about that role unless he was a Dalek with a dead role checker which we know he was not. So I think I've ruled out DF.

Ninja I've worried about most of the game. We've talked about how she seems to be very careful in her posts and her wall of text posts seem to say nothing much. I don't know if she is the Master - as someone said she'd probably be a little more involved than she is. She's a ping for me though and I'm going to re look at her posts today.

Snowy seemed connected to bass earlier which made me think he was probably cyber. As time has gone on I'm not so sure about the connection but maybe that's just because it's further away in time. I still have some residual feelings he might not be on the up and up but I'm not sure I want to vote for him at this point. I think if he's bad he's not the Master and I'm more concerned about the Master.

Hedgeowl Chris has defended pretty hard and MP had had something to say about her so I tend to believe them both in this situation. I don't see a hedgeowl vote today.

Dom is an intriguing candidate but I must admit I hadn't thought of him being the Master until Epi brought it up. Once he brought it up though I'm having a hard time finding a reason he couldn't be the Master. I'm going to read Dom today because I haven't gone back and re-read him since the game started and see if I see anything there. As I said before I'm more interested in finding the Master today (or the recruiter tbh) so Master candidates and recruiter candidates will get more of my attention.

SVS I also thought your answer was what you had been looking at because I formed the same opinion off of the same information. The request though was that you answer it so I didn't want to jump in there saying "here's what I think", I think similarly to LC.

DF, I googled one of the things that I thought might be a hint and bingo I see what you are saying now (I am not a whovian so I didnt know without googling). So anyway, that knocks you down a notch off of my suspicion list. Now I have to determine who is most likely to be bad out of the ones left. Not an easy task.

Good riddance to you Metalmarch though on a personal level i enjoyed playing with you. RIP Elo, I'm pretty sure you are civ so I am sorry to see you go.

I think SD is a cyber like several people have theorized and I think DF is probably the Master so I can see voting either of them today, assuming of course that nothing else happens to change my mind. I won't vote now because I'd like to see if something happens that either convinces me one of the two is definitely bad or one of the two is really not bad. keys, I am trying hard to see things from your pov about Snowy, it's just not happening yet. It at least puts some doubt in my mind that someone is seeing him as civ.

I'm not sure who the three amigos are either - oh linki i just found out - but Chris people do not think your theories are retarded. Your case against DF is very persuasive I just decided in the end that i was sure bass was bad and I wasn't sure DF was. My plan was to vote for Bass yesterday and vote for DF tomorrow. Maybe that was a stupid plan but just because i voted for bass doesnt mean I didn't have confidence in what you had to say. Please continue to participate.

I'm following the people counts closely but I must admit accounting for people like you guys are doing is not my strong point. I will look for anything I can add but I'm likely to follow whichever plan wins out.

I don't know what to think about bass. I didn't even think about a lynch stop when he didn't die, I just thought he's either the controller or the master. I'm still not sure how we know that was a lynch stop instead of a save that's built into a roll. Does it have something to do with the floor never opening for the lynch in the post?

I'm going to our game today at about 12:00 and won't be home til about 5:00. I have metalmarshs microgame at 6:00 but I will still be catching up and be around at times in here.

Chris, I'm as sure as i can be that you are civ so I'm certainly willing to listen to what you have to say. After all, you got me to really look at bass and I became as sure as I can be that he is bad.

I will read through DF's posts and take a look at whatever you and Epig bring to the table today about DF. My problem, as you know, is I like to look at things from all sides and it takes me a bit of time to get comfortable with there being enough evidence to call someone bad. The tug here will be that a vote for bass is seductive because I feel so strongly he is bad and a vote for DF right now for me would be a leap of faith. Like I said though, I have an open mind to your thoughts and will look at him more closely.

DF on another subject, what would cause you to say you see me as possibly bad before you've even read all my posts? What have I done or said that causes you to feel that way?

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 10

Oh now I understand Chris. I wasn't folding in the SVS/MP/keys issue into the loop.

Regarding SVS being the recruiter, I can't get past the fact that BR cleared her and that's important to me for reasons that are probably obvious. Also, I think though keys has been hard on you he's just trying to help you out of respect for your friendship, at least that's how he comes across to me. MP I'm up in the air on.

So since I'm not yet of the opinion that they are bad i don't see voting bass as voting with the baddies. Don't get me wrong, you could very well be right I'm just giving you my point of view right now at this time.

I do think DF might be a good lynch candidate I'm just not sure he's higher priority than Snowy and Bass. I feel surer about Bass and Snowy might be a better way to phrase it. But I would be willing to consider DF if there's enough evidence of him being bad, but i dont know that the evidence of him being bad would be as overwhelming as bass and snowy.

I'm sure there will be a lot more happening before we have to vote and I'm patient enough to see what unfolds today and tomorrow. My opinions can change with new information.

Interesting talk about Snowy Chris. I'm glad you summarized why you think Snowy is the right person to vote for. My belief is that they are both on the same cyber team so I'm a little confused why you would think there is anything up with those who voted Bass - if I'm right he's still a cyber. I'm not going to vote right away, we have plenty of time and I want to consider all options but it is most likely I will vote Bass or Snowy today.
