Hey LC, see the following explanation for how the queue for full jobs is being managed. They just did a three month queue and I don't know when the next call for game submission will be but MP probably has a good idea. I suggest contacting him directly to find out when to submit your game. I hope you are in the next batch to vote on. Here is the explanation.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 16

That was such an intense game. We had one night where Tranq had to decide whether to use a parchment he found to add two extra votes so he wouldnt get lynched or go with the tie, depend on a coin toss and use the parchment the next day. We were crazed that night (Typh wasnt there) trying to decide what to do. Turned out we used the parchment but it was a cursecrafter item and did nothing so it ended up a toin coss and Tranq died anyway. All that angst over something that didnt matter. That was one of the times I loved our bts the most. I can't say enough about my team, SVS, Tranq, Typhoony, Luke, as you can expect it was a lot of fun and i couldnt ask for a better team as i knew all of them so well except Luke. Almost everyone stayed totally involved even after they died.

LC and BR your games are always excellent and this was no exception. It seems like I call each one the best I've ever played but maybe that just shows you do better and better each time. I had loads of fun.

Congrats to the Circle. You were a formidable group and who was on your team surprised the hell out of me. Like others, Golden and Hamb boy surprised me the most. We had an argument in our bts about sorsha - 3 of us thought she was bad and one thought she was good. You really did a bang up job. Excellent.

And finally, for those who said i just sounded "off" I hope you realize I sounded the same as i would sound as a civ. I knew when I started hearing that that you had info on me and I was done. Its ok though i still had my team.

I don't think that's true, in fact it's only really true if you are lynched and flip baddie. :ponder: This feels like a copout answer juliets. You're saying you aren't looking for baddies because people suspect you.

How about why you and k-nuk were tied? Do you not know that, either?

And Mac has more hinted why he survived the lynch, not why he was the candidate. And if both of you are bad, then, well, I'm not sure I believe him, either.
No I don't know why me and canuck were tied. And I also have no idea why Mac was a candidate. I know I voted for him because I was trying to save myself, but why everyone else did I have no idea. They said it was because he was asking for votes which I still don't understand.

I have responded to everything I can respond to. For all of those saying it's my tone or something similar there's not a lot I can say about that except I have the same tone every game, whether I'm good or bad. It's a mistake to use my tone as the reason to vote me. Many of the people who are doing that haven't played with me before or haven't played with me for a long time. Not all but many. So I dont want to repeat myself over and over. And as for finding baddies, anything I pointed out would be seen immediately with suspicion just because it's me who's pointing it out, or worst case, i would point out some baddie behavior and everyone would think they were civv.

So I don't know what else you want me to say. I see no reason why I wouldn't be lynched today and to whoever said it earlier today (Mac I think) I had no idea Mac would be lynched.

It was mostly your defensive posts that pinged me. You seemed to change your mind once you were under pressure, changing who you were voting for to appease those who were suspicious of you... Makes me think that you don't really care who gets lynched as long as it's not you/someone on your team.
Thanks Sorsha. I did change my mind twice but it's because I was convinced by others that my vote was wrong. First was sig. I voted for him because of what I saw as a slip-up. I did not know anything about sig when I voted. Then, multiple people including Golden, Epi and HamBoy began to speak out and say that this was a very common thing for sig and if I knew him I would understand that. I became concerned that they were right - I certainly didn't know sig and certainly didn't know his meta. Thats why I changed my vote to nutella who I also suspected.

The next change was from Luke to nutella. I explained that change in the post I made last night so I won't go through it again but I would like to point out that nutella was the Darkness, not exactly a benign role.

I do care who gets lynched and in fact thats why I took the risk of changing my mind.

I haven't paid much attention to Bass or to DFaraday this game because they both are so quiet. I went over Bass's posts and the only thing that stood out to me is except for the vote about the lynch, he tends to not be a part of discussions until it's time to vote. When he votes he provides some context for the vote. Mainly, from a meta point of view I see him as quiet, many times blendy. He is neutral to me at the moment.

DFaraday is a little different. From a meta standpoint he is another one that does not post much but is likely to have good insights when he does. Like this game, he goes his own way by which i mean if his vote looks like a bandwagon vote he doesn't back off because of that. He votes who he votes - he doesn't seem to care if others are poo-pooing the vote, it's what he believes and he's going with it. He's sometimes called blendy in games. The trouble is from what i have seen he is this way no matter his alignment. I am leaning good on him this game.

Others may provide a better insight than I can give on these two.

You made the absolute bare minimum attempt to save yourself.
Oh I see. That's because I was only on long enough to vote - there wasn't time for me to go through a defense, it was a very busy time for me with family and they were more important than the game. Now that I am facing lynch again and I have more time to argue my case and I am doing so. There's not a lot for me to grab onto except the issue about my nutella/luke votes and the fact that I don't "feel" right.

Just in case I'm not on again tonight let me just remind everyone I drive home tomorrow. I will be online Fri morn early, have an appointment mid-day and will be on again in the late afternoon and evening.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Night 5

I have been reading back over the last couple of days and see that there is still confusion about my nutella vote and my luke vote on the day we voted twice. i voted luke first in the first part of the day which I'm pretty sure was Friday night. Epi then made a point that he didn't understand why people who had voted nutella the day before (I was one of those people) weren't voting her in the first half of the day.
Epignosis wrote:I'm voting nutella now. It astonishes me that Luke had one vote Day 3 when nutella had 9, and now Luke has a mob on him.

I think it's telling that some people thought two people would be lynched Day 3, voted nutella, and then make little to no mention of her now. And some of these people were uncomfortable with the notion of a double lynch for Day 4.
I commented that this was a good point and changed my vote to nutella, underlining here why i hadn't already.
juliets wrote:Epi's point is a good point and like I said, my vote for luke was provisional. I haven't stopped suspecting nutella I just didnt think it could happen today. So I will change my vote to nutella.
For the next half of the day I was on the road all day. When I got to my destination early I went in and reviewed the thread for the day to see if Luke (who I already suspected) had answered any of the questions people had thrown at him. He had answered some but the answers weren't sufficient so I voted for him. I voted for him last because I didn't even log on that night until somewhere between 8:30 and 9:00.

I really don't understand why any of this is suspicious. People who think it is suspicious should take another minute and read my posts during that period of time. I have the impression that people are taking it for granted that these votes are in some way bad. I'm happy to answer questions about this - i have answered some already - just bear with me on the timing of my response.

Anyone who votes for someone wth the excuse "he bad" is more than likely scum. Perhaps he's trying to (very vaguely) convince us that Zebra's scum.
At this stage, I'm not convinced that Zebra is on one specific side of the (civ-scum) spectrum (in other words, I'd call him neural). I'll need to re-read his posts.
Looks to me BUGLABUSH's post was a response to getting a vote from a2thezebra:
a2thezebra wrote:To BUGLABUSH it is.
BUGLABUSH wrote:I voted for a2thezebra because he bad
Floyd, i don't see how a no u-vote makes BUGLABUSH 'more than likely' bad. Could you elaborate on this? Looks like you two know each other irl so i'd understand a joke Day 1 vote, but given your response to Matt F, this doesn't appear to be that.
Floyd, you were online this afternoon at 3:32, an hour after Tranq made this post and after I made mine. Can you explain why you did not address this issue? Your behavior regarding these questions makes me believe you are bad. This isn't your first game, you know better.
I was only able to get a quick glance at the thread, I didn't have time to make a post because I was going out somewhere.
How exactly can it be elaborated on? I do know BUGLABUSH in real life, but I'm still going to treat him (and the other people I know IRL) like any regular player.
My point is that a vague reason is always a suspicious reason.
Buga's vote was a no u vote. How did that make him seem bad? Tranq may have more questions out of what he said but this is the main one.
I wasn't trying to help Luke, I paraphrased hoping he could give a better answer. It was in no way any kind of defense of Luke - it was more an indictment. In day 4 part 1 i shifted my vote because I though Epi made a good point that we had shifted to Luke instead of staying with nutella from the day before. I was in and out that day just like you said.

I think i already explained day 4 part 2 but since I had had Luke in mind the day before I wanted to see if he had relieved the qualms I had or not so I checked to see if he had answered the questions people had. He did a weak job and so I voted for him. I hadn't suspected him because I wanted to set him up for a bus but I guess there is no way to actually prove that.

I voted for nutella because even after she responded to her accusations the fact still remained that she still didn't give any hint to Sorsha that she was going to vote her, thus giving her no chance to respond. She also avoided breaking the three way tie. Then I voted for Luke because when I checked to see if he had answered the questions that people had addressed to him that day (this was late on Saturday after not having been in the thread all day) I found only a weak attempt to answer those questions. That was the last straw to me and I voted Luke.

I'm not understanding why the order in which I voted people is an issue.

My opinion:
Ok?
- How does this make her look bad Hboy? Juliets was indeed the last one on the Luke train, she had also said multiple times that she was away and wouldn't know for sure when she would be back.
- She already said her vote for Luke was provisional.
Saying it was a provisional vote isn't really a good thing. Luke's level of activity and his (often lack of) response to others' questioning means he was on the way out regardless, and therefore an easy person to bus. A provisional vote can just as easily mean "Hey I want people to know that I had been looking at Luke early, but he's still my scumbuddy so I'll wait until it looks like a lynch is guaranteed". Additionally, she didn't appear to be away to me; her vote change was made 3:16PM my time, her "torn about Luke" at 2:41PM, she had asked MetalMarsh about you at 12:15PM, and had even posted a RIP for Turnip four hours before that. All of that indicates she had been viewing the thread on and off over a good portion of that day. In fact, all of the other vote changes prior to hers (from Draconus, Floyd, and golden in that order) happened in between her 2:41PM post and her 3:16PM post.
Saying it was a provisional vote means I could change it if something else compelling comes along. I don't agree that it really isn't a good thing. The way I look at it if I'm not voting last then there's always something that could come up that causes me to change my mind. Also, I am confused about what day you are talking about that I was in the thread. If it was Sat. Nov. 7th I was not in the thread all day because I was traveling. I got to my stop that night just in time to skim for Luke answering questions and then vote. Other days I have been in the thread off and on. Which vote are you talking about?

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 5

Well, I should have clicked on Canucks link. I didnt realize it was this game when I said she found a game where i was a baddie. That's not what we're looking for, but thanks Epi for finding one. I am not a nub.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 5

Typhoony brought up the same questions I have about this suspicion around me. I cannot think of a game where I was bad - it's been awhile - to link everyone to. The closest I can come is an LMS role I had but that's not the same. I will go back through some games a little later to see if I can find one where I was bad.

Meanwhile I've got a question for Dom:
Dom wrote:Given Luke's alignment, I don't think it's implausible for Juliets to be his teammate.
Dom, what is it about Luke's alignment that makes you think it's possible for me to be his teammate? If it was my vote keep in mind I was traveling that day and wasn't able to get on-line until late in the voting process. Otherwise please clue me in so I have an opportunity to respond.

linki: looks like Canuck already found a game so i wont have to do that later

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Night 4

I am voting no. For people who replaced in like Draconus I don't think it's fair. Plus I just don't want the lynch restricted.

What happened to your sig suspicion?

And why is this in OT? :p
Several people who know sig convinced me that this is the way sig is and that my read on him was not correct. So I moved my vote from him. Nothing has happened that has made me go back to my original suspicion.

I don't know why I put that in green except for I was writing my reminder about my trip and it just led into explaining why my vote was sitting in the host area. I turned the whole paragraph green.

I found where Luke attempted to answer some questions and no offense to Luke but the answers left a lot to be desired. I'm going to vote for Luke.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 4

Couldn't be happier that we got the Darkness. Losing a win condition is terrible and is probably the most dastardly role LC and BR have ever cooked up. Nutella, as always it was good to play with you again and hope to see you in another game soon.

Just a reminder I will be out of the thread all day today and half the day sunday. I don't know exactly when we'll be arriving at our destination tonight but I'll do my best to vote when we get there if the wi fi is working. I parked my vote on the host option because i do not have a decision made as to who I will vote for.

Epi's point is a good point and like I said, my vote for luke was provisional. I haven't stopped suspecting nutella I just didnt think it could happen today. So I will change my vote to nutella.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 4

I am torn about Luke because he could easily be just an inactive civ like Draconus was asking about or like others have said he could be hiding behind his low posts. Tranq pointed out the few questions Luke asked but there is no digging for info like I would expect from someone who asks questions. There's just not a lot there (though SVS makes a good point that he has posted more than Canuck who voted for him for not being present). Despite some reservations (like this is feeling like a bandwagon) I'm going to go ahead and vote Luke and change my vote if something else comes up that I feel is a better vote.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 3

I'm voting for non-changeable votes, and Draconus welcome.

I am getting ready to leave for a long trip that will be driving all day Saturday, stopping but after lynch time, and then driving part of the day Sunday. I will have to vote before I go to bed on Friday night to get my vote in. Draconus, welcome.

Glad to have you Draconus, welcome.

Good-bye Tiny and I hope to see you in another game.

I'll have to think about which of these lynch options I prefer. None of them jump out as favorites.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 1

Epi these are not my only posts for Banana but my main reason for voting for him was I found his vote suspicious and I wanted to pressure him to tell me the reason he had voted such. I left my vote there because I continued to be suspicious and he continued to not respond. After he flipped civ I knew my finding his vote suspicious was wrong and thus my vote for him was wrong. I don't comment on everything going on in the game just like many other people and I am not at the keyboard all day every day.

Banana, I dont understand. What has he done exactly to cause an argument? What arguments are you talking about?
Banana you were just here but didnt answer my questions so here is a reminder in case you're still around. I persevere when people don't answer my questions so might as well do it now.
