Oh metalmarsh, when I said I thought you were a very bad indy I was thinking you were the Hunger (from Recruitment) because I had just been hungered to get FZ lynched in 3 days. (I read FZ as civ though and never did even try figuring if I got her lynched and then I would get lynched we would lose 2 civs. If I didn't do anything I would die, which I did, but that was only 1 civ). As it turned out, hungering was on one of the team's position wheel.

I'm just concerned that if Mac has the numbers wrong or if he is bad that civs are going to lose.

As I mentioned a couple of days ago I have appointments today all day long. For that reason, I will not be in the thread for most of the day. I'm not sure I'll be back for EOD but I'll try my best. Just in case I'm putting a vote on Metalmarsh. I'm finally convinced he is bad (though I won't be totally shocked if he turns out to be indy).

I answered that the first time he brought it up. I have been under suspicion the whole game so why kill me when it looked liike I would be lynched at any time? DH was not under suspicion except by Mac late in the game.

Rico, i thought the theory you brought up earlier that ended in a recommendation to vote MM was sound. I just had to deliberate (with myself) to come to the conclusion that it's better than a motel lynch. I will change my vote as soon as I catch up.

I wouldn't say it's unlikely (we've had Absalom in Biblical pitting players to need one another dead in order to maintain a win con), but he didn't seem to hint at that, after the damage has been done, but rather "oh god I dun goofd". Twice, even.

With the kind of curse I'm talking about you can't let on at any time, even afterwards. But, this probably doesn't matter much now unless you are counting potential baddies and think he might have been seemed.

I said it before and I'll say it again - I think Boomslang was cursed. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. Why haven't we seen other curses? Maybe because the cursed were more subtle than he was.

That would be bad if one of them got taken off the poll (MM or motel room). I guess we could always just vote the other though.

MacDougal why are you voting for me? I thought you just told DH you were wrong about us being teamates (which you were). You are wasting your vote, more than you realize.

I can vote motel room or MM. I am concerned though that as Matt brought up maybe this is not a lynch, even though it says lynch. I don't know why the host would try to fool us like that though. Doesn't seem like something hosts would do.

I find it odd that Rico, of all people, is calling my case absurd because of his own Day 0 shenanigans, but whatever. MM clearly did more then just one post saying "Zebra confirmed town". I'm not going to repost my case, though. ISO me if ya wanna see it.

Also, Dom missed the vote entirely that day for some reason or another. I think it's possible he was blocked from voting, and unlike niju/juliets, didn't tell the thread (Dom seems to be a strict rule follower).

Matt, this is just a small thing but it bothers me. SVS clarified in the thread that those of us who had our vote blocked were allowed to speak about it after the vote, so ninju and I were NOT rule breakers. I just want the record to be accurate here because I am one of the most cautious players around and ask permission before i post things if I'm at all unsure.

I'm going to go ahead and put my vote on motel room.

I am torn this morning between mm and motel room.

With MM I am a little worried that both Matt and I (especially since I'm dealing with a gut feel) are wrong and MM is just a straight Indy. Even though the normal win con for a straight indy is to survive to the end of the game, which does incent the indy to vote whatever way that allows him to be alive at the end, I wonder if this is a bad enough consequence to earn a vote. How would we feel and where would we stand if we just lynched a straight indy? Mac says we would be ok because we are not in lylo (lylo is not a syndicate word so I'm not even sure I understand it) so is what he says true? I have to say though if you actually go back and read Dom's posts day 6 it is hard to doubt that mm is straight bad. The only thing I wonder is whether Dom had really come up with three baddies(by role checking) by that time or did he just strongly suspect MM was bad. It was Day 6 so out of 6 tries would he have come up with 3 baddies? I guess it's possible.

My other choice is motel room and that one is pretty easy. I suspect him because of the Kubrick tie in. On the other side of the coin he hasn't had enough content for us to really get any type of read on him and people have pointed out he is an excellent play and they've never seen him play like this. So, the only thing we've got is the possibility he is Kubrick. Am I missing anything here regarding a case on him? I basically agree with Rico on what he had to say about motel room.

Right now I am leaning motel room. I'll also say I'm a little worried about the vote getting spread though I guess now it's only on three people (wasn't it more spread a few minutes ago or was it my imagination?) so I'm willing to come to a consensus as to who to vote.

Actually, I'm looking at the consistency of your gameplay. You've made it a point to ISO players and bring evidence forth on their baddieness throughout this game. But your evidence that I am a bad Indy is a "gut feel".

I think anyone who can make the accusation that I am both Independent and bad has a very good chance of being on the mafia team I am accused of being on.

Sometimes I have gut feels, thats just the way it is with me. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong. It doesnt mean I'm on any mafia team - I don't even know how you think that is logical. Gut feel = must be mafia. Even though I argued that we shouldn't lynch you because you are indy. Anyway, I don't really have anything more to say on this subject. I'll let you know if I change my mind and go back to you being bad.
