I think this is a very wasteful line of thinking. We only have a few shots to get the remaining mafia, and deliberately using one of those shots on someone you don't suspect as bad is asinine.

I've been posting from a phone this entire week and really can't build a massive case. Especially not at this brain state. I've already said TSP should get lynched again because he tried to hide behind secrets for the weird Elo lynch thing, Tamika died, and the remaining secrets aren't civ.

There are ten players. Six votes have been cast. It is theoretically possible that three players could vote for someone I think is a better candidate, and then I could break the tie as I see fit.

For that matter, why haven't you voted?

Am I just an idiot or are you trolling me? Who is he, and can literally anyone else confirm that?

And I haven't voted because I need to make sure I don't get lynched. I said it before and I'll say it again for the LD: my vote is only worth one vote. Other Marcus suspects haven't said as much.

Why does it matter who killed Golden if I'm not bad? Either team could easily see that there's momentum against me and kill a voice that's been attacking to cast more doubt on me.

I don't think Epi is the best lynch target (see my previous post for people I'd rather take out), but I'll vote him if it's what saves me.

If Jack was scum, this might make sense.

He wasn't. It doesn't.

It makes sense if, like me, you assume Rico was civ. Then, as TSP said, you would've the tiebreaking vote in a civ lynch. And if, as baddie, you had a strong sense that both were civ, you wouldn't want to implicate yourself with either lynch.

TSP, mainly now because of "I can't tell you for reasons. I'm not a bad guy. I didn't know if that would even happen that way. Speedchuck, because of this whole very conscious self-doubt thing over typos and not voting Rico last lynch. I think he really didn't want to take responsibility for breaking the tie to lynch another civ and looking like he was saving someone.

Wilgy a bit, because after last night's kill, I think his list of me, Golden, and Epi as the game-ending three is just dead wrong.

Spirityo a bit, because he seems so diametrically opposed to my own reads right now that something must be wrong.

I may be quiet, Jack, but I've been following Golden's exploration of your inconsistencies as well. And I think Rico is putting in good work. Again, I would've preferred a TSP lynch, but I followed what was available to me.

Lost track of time today. Don't think Rico or INH is bad. Don't think I can get support for a TSP lynch at this point, even though I think his secrets are likely to be bad. So voting Jack, whom I remember distrusting earlier.

Hmm. The thing that's most caught my attention today is the INH/TSP/Lorab back and forth about curse theories. I think INH's analysis has a lot of merit—it points us toward the Politicians team containing at least one member with a decent amount of experience on the site, someone who would know to look to previous recent games for messy posting restrictions. This line really speaks to me: "By intentionally choosing to do the same thing with Dom and Rot3k, they're essentially designing a Venn Diagram of people they want us to look at." And lo and behold, the lists people are throwing out are creating those Venn diagrams of lynch suspects.

Lorab's responses feel earnestly civ, as Eloh recently mentioned. TSP's responses, on the other hand, seem dismissive of the curse investigation as a whole. First to INH, then to Lorab, who have opposite views of the curses:

That last analysis makes me feel loads better about Rico. It's like reading Egyptian hieroglyphics, but it makes sense to me. Probably because he points out an odd inconsistency in TSP's view of INH. Which looks particularly bad given INH's role in the LC lynch.

I don't get the feels for INH. Other than the weak Made vote, which can be attributed to Day 1 uncertainty, he seems rather innocuous. That last post was reasonable and a (rare) relevant reference to the meta.

I'm going to go ahead and vote TonyStarkPrime. I like Epi's early case and want to see how he responds to the pressure.

Arrrgh, just got caught up. Seems like the majority of this thread is a pissing match between Golden and Dom, with genuine frustration on both sides. My gut sees it as civ on civ, and I don't have the time or the sobriety to dig deeper than that now.

The most interesting actual case has been Epi's on TSP. Odd vote timing, unexplained vote placement, backpedaling and willingness to throw votes around without true commitment today. Suggesting a Marcus-unveiling strategy that no one would seriously consider. I don't like it. Will likely throw my vote there, especially given Jack's lack of activity today.

Because secrets are very secretive. But Lorab makes a good point about the post timing; this new forum not tagging posts by day is frustrating for that.

Why so? I don't see you defending him in previous posts, other than an unexplained in your gut read list. Jack even admits that his argument defending the lololol was "the dumbest argument I have ever made in a mafia game." I see a lot of proactive defense from him as well, asking to be pinged and whatnot.

Also, I don't think the Rico push has much merit. In a game with this many secrets, it's not unreasonable to have smiley-only posting for a bit. Admittedly, I've seen a lot done with that, and he's not making any effort to contribute within that limitation.

Neverwhere is interesting. Says she looks forward to playing with Made, then votes him for "making a joke of everything" as unhelpful play. Even though Rico's play is objectively less helpful and she makes jokes like "Puppies pee on everything." Could be projection.
