Well, you could try to lynch me, but that's really only a wise course of action if you're sure I'm Cohen and there are no baddies remaining. I think there still are some unaccounted for, and do you want to let them fester?

If I'm Fetus, you can't kill me until BWT passes his random search, which is basically a coin flip and a potentially wasted lynch. If I'm Cohen, you'll have wasted a lynch on an almost entirely harmless indie role. If I'm MacGuyver, I'm invincible until Penny dies, so you'll gain no new information from my lynch (unless timmer was Penny, in which case you'll be killing a civ).

So if I were in your shoes, I'd be searching for a better target than me.
So... you are not saying you are a civvie? You are trying to talk us out of lynching you based on probablities?

You're bad, IMO.
Because desperate claims towards being a civ are always convincing and don't ever look like a last-ditch baddie attempt to fit in. :sigh: I'm giving you the facts and advising you to make smart decisions based on them.

I don't know what to say other than that I legitimately missed the evidence that convinced you. I'll read Nev's quotes more thoroughly when I have time and hopefully get it. No. You have to hit me over the head with a brick for me to notice role subtleties~ and I saw it. Read back.

And re my targets, the first time, night one, both of my original targets have since died, and neither came up as a civ. The second they are both alive, one I trust implicitly. The other is on my "?" list, but MP seems to be saying that only one would redirect, so that point is moot.

@Lizzy~I could go with your list. And something good happened for me a while ago, something caused by Bea at that time. It happened again last night :daisy:

I will be back in tons of time for the poll (9:54 PM my time) and will keep up with the thread during the day (just won't post much at work on phone).
I'm sorry, but I still don't see anything obvious. I see Nev doing decent analysis, getting insanified, and then "yes-manning" the discussion. I also think it's very interesting how Timmer fell into line with you today after you threw the merest hint of a suspicion at him a couple days ago. Agreeing with a confirmed civ :SVS: is a smart and blendy move.
Timmer "fell in line with me" because I believe he read back and found my point. Search "illuminating" and read back from my post using it.
Alright, I think I get it. Baddie Team 1 tried to kill him, then frame him, and no Baddie Team 2 role has the required protection. But... again, correct me if I'm wrong, but it was FH who brought this up, not you. So again, it's interesting that Timmer didn't bring up FH as the source of the info. Instead, he used a confirmed civvie. :SVS:

I checked back on voting records and saw that SD voted two days in row to lynch Epignosis, and one of those days he came close to getting lynched (he had 5 votes to Vomps' 7 votes). So I think it's less likely that she's a Video Game Baddie. She could still be a Manipulator and my original ping had to do with her socks post. So at this point she's still a question mark for me, but I feel better about her not being Creeper or Fetus.

I read back through all of Elohcin's posts. There is so little substance there. The only think I took from it is that she's not Percy because she was very suspicious of BDH and even voted for him.

On to more reading!

*Woah, linki world!*

Well MP is still asking me nightly to search for him, so I would assume he's still alive because of that.

Linki: That is true. I still have 2 more lives to spare, and I die when the third one is extinguished. I guess my main concern is that the baddies might try and target me every single night to get rid of me. But even if I were dead and Fetus were still "invulnerable", I would imagine there would either be a way around that or other ways he could die other than being NKed.

Ehhhhh, might as well go ahead and mention it. I only need to find him one more time, and I currently have a 50% chance of finding him every night. So the odds dictate that I should find him on either Night 11 or Night 12.
Thanks for the information! This news is very encouraging. If anything I'd argue it encourages the baddies to look for other targets, as they figure they can't stop you from finding Fetus now. Unless they think you're bluffing about your progress... :SVS:

At the risk of painting a huge target on my head, I will simply say for now he is not vulnerable, but it is close. I will elaborate more if enough people I feel okay about wish to know.

In my mind, the obvious reason for a fake kill on juliets would be for her team to remove suspicion of her as a baddie. I'm honestly surprised people haven't brought that up before, unless they think it's too bold of a move.

So happy to be in Meat Boy, lol. Is my home turf. FH, you point out some interesting differences in the night posts, but should we really be reading that much into them? Seems just like a creative range of expression on the part of the host. Unless these differences have actually meant something before.

Shit, I knew I should have voted before going out for the evening. For the record, I would have voted Vomps. I throw myself on the mercy of the almighty Sock.

Also, if you read back and consider all the facts that have been presented, you will find that I'm probably a civvie.
What facts? Literally all you've given us this game is that you're "a conformist," you like the number 11, and you trust Lizzy.

Re: [DAY 5] The Syndicate's 2013 Game of Champions

I really do not see the arguments for voting Llama. I see generally helpful participation and a spat against DH that turned ugly relatively fast. That being said, I doubt the poll is going to change much before the deadline. I haven't had too much time to get in depth with the thread, so I'm going to go with my gut and put a vote on Vomps. Deliberately obtuse behavior worries me.

Loads of back-and-forth between Sherlock and DH, as far as I can tell, and little else of interest; please correct me if I'm wrong. Going to watch the Grammys for Paul and Ringo, so I'm mostly just posting to show off my brand-spanking new signature.

Re: [NIGHT 4] The Syndicate's 2013 Game of Champions

Dammit, RIP DP. Still unchampionlike behavior, but that role was one of my favorites. In terms of rezzes, Lizzy is the obvious choice in the first group. I have a good feeling about SVS, and although I'm not as sure about FH, at the very least that rezz puts whoever's playing the Piranha Plant a step back.

Least champion-like thing I've read all game, lol. I'll be busy during the end of poll, so going ahead and voting for DP.

I also think it's weird the modkill last night didn't even to deflect to the person with the second most votes. Dom was on the poll, but got no votes. Unless MP has a beef with Dom (which I very much doubt), it got deflected to a random player on the poll.

I think we've caught a baddie BWT. Someone let me know if I'm getting tunnel vision on that though. However, if DP really is Zodac, he's probably an even bigger priority for now. And I think Elo and bea should be covered.
Exactly, I think cost-benefit analysis on that one is much more Pro. Meaning DP. I went through about 5 or 6 different theories yesterday (and I like yours above a lot too) and more of them are nefarious for DP than innocuous.

Since Bob is dead, is it still as important we spread out the vote? I sincerely want to know.
Bob's recruit can still kill if they don't get a vote. Personally I don't know how much spreading the vote can help, if it's spread out too far and we don't see a recruit kill tonight then we've still not learned anything. Also it's possible they might be allowed to choose not to kill anyone, thereby framing someone who did get a vote even if they didn't.
Very good point. Unless we spread the vote out very wide, the threat of framing a civ is certainly real. And if we spread the vote out that wide, it's more open to manipulation by coordinated baddies.

I guess we will see if there are two days in a row, which is the only real thing staying my hand at this point.
Wait, why would two days in a row be a bad thing? Presumably, days are what give civs the upper hand against all the night-killing baddies. Run this by me again.

Yeah, I'm going to go DP as well. The more I think about it, the Sockgate incident is likely behind our host and BDH, so voting that way would be fun but probably pointless.

We don't know that this is definitely a lynch. I understood it as DP will receive some kind of punishment, but not necessarily be killed. Was I the only one who took it that way?
That's how I read it as well. I doubt the punishment will be a kill, but it'll probably be something fairly funky.

Damn. RIP Lizzy; good to see my suspicions of civility were right, but alas, you weren't the right civ. Thematically appropriate that Moriarty would bring you down, though.

Although DP is the obvious choice, I can't help but want to vote for BDH... seems like it'd score some brownie points from Sock.
