I dunno. Timmer seemed pretty content to falsely label me as a Resident using sloppy logic, and sloppy logic is historically a baddie tactic, but there's the no u aspect of it so I doubt people will follow that.

INH also seems pretty close minded in considering me over everyone else. Is it genuine, or is he scared that I plucked him out in the early game and doesn't want me to go back to putting him under the microscope now that things are starting to slow down again. These are the questions.

I'd also take a look at Boomslang, and stuff.
Explain Boomslang.

Boomslang's not one of *my* suspects, I just meant I'd be willing to look at Boomslang should anyone bring anything substantial about him to the table (Epig for example I think was talking about Boom earlier)
Epig's claim on me was about the list of Herman suspects, which we showed to be incorrect as I had gotten votes before a Herman kill. The provocations towards DH are getting a little much, and the voting group analysis actually turned out somewhat useful. I'd like to think a baddie wouldn't go through all that trouble to guide good civvie decisions, unless we are being masterfully trolled.

boats has also been a bit odd, but these are players I'm unfamiliar with, so I've been hesitant to pursue those leads until i get a better feel for them.

I lean more towards INH being a civ at this time. Generally he's more talkative and (forgive me, INH) sort of agitated as a baddie. Cool, more quiet inh tends to be good.
Maybe because I went after you based on the evidence accrued by your predecessor, CBK? I would like to point that I've called a lot of the lynches correctly; yeah, I went on the early bandwagons that got civs, but so did everyone.

I agree that there must be a system, but the idea about voting order...no one voted on Day 9.

Look at Herman's power: If he receives a single vote, he cannot harm us! Let's make sure all of these people receive at least one vote.
Don't forget: I got a vote on one of the days before Herman killed, eliminating me from the running for Herman.

As for the current poll, I'm intrigued by the wording YOU will be rewarded, as in "the player base as a whole" rather than the one who gets picked. If my reading is correct, I'm tempted to vote for Droops, as we know he's civ.

Re: [DAY 5] Avant-Garde Mafia 2

Frig, this is too much to read. The voting order analysis seems like an awful lot of work for very little precision; people have been mentioning outside commitments and other factors that influence the order beyond waiting to see what others do. You're confounding variables, as it were, and there's a large amount of error involved.

As for the reveal of Zappa's secrets, I can see where it'd be a good idea to warn him of the risks involved in searching. Revealing other civvies who don't have such risks associated with their actions might be :eye: worthy.

And maybe it's personal, but I don't like how Timmer's defense was "look at the other guy" instead of addressing the underlying points.

Well, before Droops got revealed, I (along with a lot of others) felt that Vomps was his teammate. Nothing has come up that changes that suspicion for me, and if Droops is civ, so is Vomps. I'll be looking elsewhere for now...

Hard to tell whether surviving an NK is civ or baddie. Not even counting all the role secrets, I see multiple ways that somebody of either persuasion could survive an attempt. Not sure this result helps us label the two attempted targets at all. We don't even know if it's good or bad that they survived. We do know, though, that neither Ziltoid nor Herman killed a civ tonight for sure, so that's positive

And yeah, I don't see myself not voting vomps - barring a bad slip up
There are a lot of secrets, but seems to me most of the survivability powers are civ. Captain Spectacular survives Ziltoid attacks, Omnidimensional Creator can survive any attack, Mike Patton can impersonate Spectacular or the Creator to gain immunity. Moondog "conceals," Exuma "keeps away evil spirits," etc. I think it's significantly less likely that either of the survivors are baddies.

• Ziltoidian Monk – He prays every night for the safety of Ziltoid and his comrades. If his prayer is successful, any members on his team may live to see another day. Naturally, he prays harder for his own survival than anyone else’s, however. (Secrets)
No offense to Sock, and he probably intended it this way, but that role is a little difficult to pin down... "He prays harder for his OWN survival" and "Any members on his team MAY live to see another day" suggest individual protection to me. I can see where you're interpreting it as everyone, though. Also unlikely that both of the survivors are on same team, from sheer probability.

Might I ask why you would vote yourself, particularly so early into the day? I do not want, and will not get into, a discussion about random voting, but how could this ever be construed as a civvie move? You are either 1. Voting a known civvie or 2. Voting a baddie, I assume you will say you are doing the former, thus my quesion, why would you vote for someone you are certain is a civvie (assuming that is your stance)?
There are secrets in many of the role descriptions, so it could be that he knows something we don't know. Most likely he'll gain something by voting for himself (if he survives the lynch). Otherwise it would not seem to make much sense.
This does strike me as very odd, against the self-preservation that this game is theoretically all about. Alternatively, it could be a masterful bit of paranoia induction: he must have a secret power that gets activated by votes, so don't vote for him! Layers upon layers, am I right?

Maybe I'm still just speculating, but I don't like that vacuum sound. It SEEMED to have no effect, but is anything really as it seems in this game? Whatever it was, it sounded inside the ship, as no sound can travel in space itself. Therefore, something had an effect in our safe haven of Captain Spectacular's vessel.
